The ecolodge and its environment are wonderful. We not only enjoyed the fantastic view from the terrace of our room and that of the restaurant, but also the swimming pool and our walk in the primary forest below and towards the two waterfalls nearby. We bathed with pleasure in one of the two natural pools. The entire garden is very well maintained with many flowers. The meals were very good. The whole thing is incredibly inexpensive. Not to be missed during a stay in Samoa!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Pickup from Airport is possible, though expensive as is the norm in Apia. No local bus servce nearby, though shuttle from lodge will drop off in town at 09:00 and then reurn at 14:00. About 5 miles from t own so not walkable. View is good from rooms. Very steep drive leading up to the lodge, with some careful driving needed!
Restaurant on site does meals and there is a bar. Local SIM can be purchased from here. Cash is preferred but credit cards can be accepted.
Pool is hidden around a corner and is really just a plunge pool as it is very small

All staff very helpful and much of the food is grown locally. Great small pool on site and even better swimming hole in the river nearby (within the wider grounds). Looking forward to our third visit in the future.
Followed me to my room and just lingered there because she thought more uninvited guests were arriving. I think she was the owners daughter. Wouldn’t allow my son to stay with us but she had all her grandchildren there. The shower was HORRIBLE. Bugs everywhere so we stayed only 1 night and left the next day even tho we paid 7 nights. Definitely would NOT recommend
Arrived after an early morning flight. Lolita was extremely welcoming and arranged breakfast for us all then we wrote off the morning with a catchup sleep. The view from the balconies is astounding and the tranquillity and peace is what we needed just after the craziness of packing and leaving home and all its responsibilities.
We tripped around the area nearby as my father was from Aleisa. I now understand him and his ways so much better.
Dave Parker Eco Lodge isn't fancy, it's had its hey day ... but it is quaint and tidy and for me ... perfectly Samoan! I loved my stay here. The service ... was so accommodating, helpful, kind and respectfully cute!
We were cooked for and served by all young men. Very traditional and very lovely experience. Loved the cultural food on the menu!!
This place has been great and any first time visitors to Samoa need this plantation feel experience! We are off now to a beachside resort which are common here, but you can't beat being up in the hills!
They told me they were booked out the week I arrived which was two weeks later but they still had rooms on booking.com for sale.
No partial refund no swapping the week. A misleading and greedy hotel.
Thank you so much to everyone at the lodge, for their hospitality, kindness and allowing us to have such a memorable time. We will be back again!!
Also, their pets are wonderful and I became obsessed !!
