Comfortable room, great food at restaurant and unbelievable peaceful spot on Savaii right on the beach. Awesome sunsets and great hospitality from staff who had so much local knowledge that made our trip easy-only there a few days but saw everything including DA CRATER MAN and his crater-loved the geckos

We arrived exhausted from an overnight flight and ferry ride to be greeted warmly by Kylie one of the managers. After a tour of the property we unpacked in our little cottage and went for a swim in the warm, clear waters of the lagoon. We were here for a holiday but also to get married and have a special...

We were attracted to this resort by the calm lagoon, which was fantastic for swimming and snorkelling with a six-year old. The accommodation was excellent -- with fans to cool the rooms and almost no insects. The restaurant was beautifully situated with picture postcard sunsets every night and excellent, well-priced food. The staff were lovely. We really liked staying in...

Thank you so much to Kylie and Kellie our hosts for a great relaxing holiday. Your staff from the local village were just lovely and so helpful, the meals were delicious, everything was so casual that we couldn't help but be relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed the snorkelling, kayaking and just sitting in my own personal fale overlooking the lagoon reading...

Beautiful golden sand beach, one of the best, if not the best, on Savaii. The chefs and the food are amazing. The staff are friendly, helpful and awesome. The managers know exactly what they are doing and are also friendly, helpful and awesome. If you want the perfect place to stay on Savaii, then this is it.

Nice laid-back location. We had a very relaxing stay. Stayed in the so called 'rainy season' but the weather was great. Kelly and Kylie were fantastic hosts, very friendly and always helpful, going well above and beyond what you would expect from Managers at a resort. Kylie went out of his way one day to help us out, and get...

I felt as if I had the place to myself, and the hosts were exquisite. The food in the Barefoot Bar and Restaurant is fabulous. Kayaks, outrigger or bigger boats are available to help explore the surrounding reef and excellent snorkeling abounds. Nearby sights of interest ultimately lead to tasty BBQ and other island fare.

Why bother you can stay on Upolu main island for the same money or less with the same snorkeling without the hassle of getting to the ferry on time and all that extra travel & expense to get there. Then if you do the place is very basic no aircon the beds are made from 4 x 2 with crap...

Talofa Dolans2010, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We like to think of Savaii as a very different experience to Upolu, and do agree that a little extra effort is required to get here, but well worth the trip. All of our queen size beds are Sleepyhead mattresses and bases, though we do have a couple...
