We booked 3 units last June 2020 and had the most incredible week swimming in the most amazing beach, rooms were a great size with beautiful views of the ocean and the food was great especially fresh fish and fruit. The staff were so humble and really looked after all of us. We have again booked 3 units for next week, 22nd May for a week but due to the coronavirus we unforutunately cannot cross the border into Samoa. Please would the Manager reply to the repeat emails I have been sending to change dates and contact Hotel.com. Regards Deborah - New Zealand
Stayed 5 nights beautiful little resort great swimming and snorkeling also watched turtles swim by and fed the fish every day. The food was fresh and delicious thanks Alofa. We really like the oka raw fish so yummy.
walking along the beach I came across this place by chance . The manager here was sitting out in a fale and we got talking . She is a truly beautiful person full of honesty and genuine like most of the Samoans I’ve met . The photos here on your websites do this resort no justice - when we entered the room it was truly a shock to see it . It was everything and so much more than expected . I thank you very much for your genuine hospitality and your generosity. . I hope to one day make it back to meet you again . So to you and your team there in savaii island - a warm heartfelt thank you 😊
My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. We had previously stayed at Le Legato a couple of years ago, so we knew the beach here was wonderful for swimming and snorkeling due to the clear water. Everyone was so friendly, room was spacious and very clean, the outdoor shower was great. The dinner menu at the restaurant changed every night and the food was delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer, hopefully we can come back in the near future, thank you for a wonderful time here!
Great little resort in a fantastic location, beautiful swimming and snorkeling. Lovely restaurant, good variety and value situated right over the water. No air conditioner but plenty of fans in the room.
Far exceeded our expectation must be the best little beach on Savaii, the restaurant on the water edge the golden sand and coral only 50 metres out the snorkeling was amazing the food was devine and great having confidence in the treated water also great social atmosphere
Savaii Lagoon resort is a very special place. Not only because the location is incredible, but the staff are so welcoming, friendly and personable. Our accommodation (for family of 4) was clean, spacious and literally beachfront - you walked out the front door and onto the lagoon beach. The snorkeling was amazing - our two teenage sons spent their entire time snorkeling, kayaking, and rowing around in the dinghy. We stayed 5 nights but wish we stayed longer. Sure SLR is not 5 star - but that makes it even more special, relaxing and enjoyable. We will most definitely be back.
Spent 8 nights in October with our family of 6 in 2 bungalows. The rooms were clean, spacious, and we loved the outdoor feeling of the showers. It's a beautiful, remote resort that has diving, snorkelling, kayaking, and SUP right at your door step! Since we have small children, we really appreciated the protected by for swimming. It was shallow for approx. 25m during high tide, with no waves or rocks and a sandy beach, which was perfect for our children to enjoy swimming and splashing about in. Internet connection is expensive, but we enjoyed being disconnected for a week and being on island time. The resort had books, games, and toys to share with us during our stay. Breakfast was really good - breads, cereals, fruits, and eggs. We also ate at the resort for lunches and dinners and enjoyed all of our meals there. Would make a special note of the sashimi entree for dinner. It was delicious!! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Everyone was so helpful whenever we had any questions about sight-seeing or transportation, and everyone was especially kind and helpful with our 3 small children (ages between 1 and 5 years old). It's a perfect holiday spot and a great location for families with small children as well!…
We stayed in a Beachfront Bungalow with a separate bedroom for our family of four for two nights. The accommodation is basic, but very clean and comfortable. No air conditioning but both ceiling and standing fans. All windows open to let in a lovely sea breeze to help keep cool. Roosters were a little noisy in the morning, so don't expect a sleep in! We ate breakfast and dinner at the Barefoot Bar & Restaurant, on the more expensive side, but good portion sizes and a daily changing dinner menu which was nice. Continental breakfast was great to start the day with and the setting is lovely overlooking the water. Our girls (8 years and 6 years) spent most of the day in the water, swimming, snorkeling and going on the kayaks. The water was lovely, warm, clear and very safe as it is a lagoon. We also went to the swimming hole directly outside the next resort along at low tide. Great snorkeling just off the beach with lots of fish and coral, but snorkeling gear is not provided so you need to bring your own or hire from the Dive shop across the road from the resort. We loved our stay and would love to visit again! Only thing that could be improved was if the staff were slightly friendlier, a simple hello when walking past and at breakfast/dinner would be nice.…
A great place to relax, enjoy the lagoon with its many corals, enjoy the sunsets over the water. Friendly staff and spacious accommodation. Great restaurant aspect over the water. Generous Continental breakfasts and menu choices.
