Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As for the reception staff, excellent, but what leaves a lot to be desired is the breakfast, very poor, the squeezed juice is very watery and you have to keep asking for it to be replenished. And as for the change of towels and sheets, they are not done, at least in the three days of my stay. I do not recommend for the price they charge you

It gives the impression of an alleged change of ownership. The breakfast service deteriorated and towels for the room every other day. Rest as always. Good attention and willingness of all the staff. Cordial and attentive. Willing and attentive to the movements of the guests.

Reception staff that stands out for their kindness and attention.
The pool is clean but the water is a little hot for the summer.
Clean and comfortable rooms.
Breakfast with little variety and low quality of products.

The Grand Hotel is gorgeous! It has a very old world but updated Mediterranean vibe. Gorgeous views and grounds. I felt like I was in a movie scene. It was out favorite hotel from our two week stay in Italy. It was the 4th one we stayed at. The staff is very friendly and helpful!! Our housekeeper Maria was so kind and always so helpful! Our room was beautiful everyday! Other reviews complained that the staff felt stuffy. They were dressed nicely, but nothing stuffy about them. The room was large with beautiful furniture and the most breathtaking view of the ocean. Other reviews complain of the view. It’s because they didn’t pay the little extra money for an ocean view. They have blackout blinds to keep the room dark and quiet at night if that’s something you need. Some nights we left it open and enjoyed the view and the sounds of the beautiful birds singing. Our patio had chairs and a nice seating area in the room. The continental breakfast was always delicious. They waiters come to you for your coffee order while you walk around to the huge buffet to find what you’d like to eat. At the egg bar you could chose from fried eggs, poached eggs, scrambled eggs and/or an omelette. The roof top bar is a great place in the evening to relax and enjoy the view. Their garden patio is very relaxing and beautiful! We didn’t use the pools, but they were in excellent condition. I would have used the rooftop pool to enjoy the ocean view if we had one more day here. You will love this hotel!! I highly recommend it!!!!

Below the hotel there is a bar with very loud music that does not allow you to rest at night or take a nap. The restaurant plays loud music from 7 in the morning. Also, breakfast is not a buffet as they say. Bad experience, not recommended

Although our GPS took us to the wrong place it was well worth eventually finding after Buenos Aires. Friendly helpful staff, excellent food and wine and good accommodation. As title I wou of liked to stay here longer.

We made a lastminute reservation for 380 pesos per room per night. It's a 10-blocks walk from the Condor-Estrella bus stop.
Spacious bedroom with comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The first night was okay, but the second night the heating was fully turned on without a possibility to turn it of. So we slept with all windows open and were overheated. The hotel is at the main road of the village so traffic noise when window opened.

Breakfast is simple with coffee/tea/yellow liquid called orange juice (doesn't taste like it), medialunas, slices of dry bread, cake and fruit. There are additional muffins and slices of cake from the bakery that you can buy.

Small pool in the garage, not really attractive. Jaccuzi wasn't working. Massage service for 120-180 pesos. Recommended.

In the evening the whole hotel, including the bedroom, smells like fried potatoes from the restaurant downstairs.

Helpful staff.

The Grand Hotel is right on a corner in the center of Sierra de la Ventana. The building is over 100 years old but the rooms have been nicely remodeled. There is a nice restaurant on the ground floor and they have a locked parking area inside the building. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the area is very scenic with mountains and green valleys. It is a full days drive south of Buenos Aires and it is worth spending a few days to enjoy the place.

Hotel rated 3.5 stars, the reality would be 2 stars, very small rooms, no closet, only one piece of furniture where everything is, safe, electric kettle, and some shelves to put clothes, the mattress leaves a lot to be desired, they don't clean your room room, they give you 2 towels and a towel for the couple, (you have to ask for another one) they don't give you towels for the pool, you have to use the same ones but they don't change them, they only replace them on the third day, the covered pool is in a warehouse, without natural light, the breakfast is very poor, there is bread, some pieces of cake, cheese and a single jam (no option) there are no half moons or any other bill, as we saw that they had half moon we asked them to bring us 1 for each one but we couldn't eat it, they were overheated, the covered parking lot is a shed that is left open and pigeons and parrots come in and leave your car baptized, and what didn't attract the most attention, at 9 p.m. they all leave and The guests are left alone, they give you the entrance key in case you come later, that is, if you need something after that time, wait until the next day. The only saving grace is the employees, the girl at the reception who is very kind and friendly and the boy who works at the breakfast room as well.
