We went on a family trip with 7 adults, a child and a baby for 5 days (in two cabins)
-First obstacle was booking. We knew we wanted to go there in advance but they didn't give them prices until a month before 🙃 (that's where they gave them the prices for May 2024)
-second issue and I would say that it is a strong point to improve: THE WIFI. Unfortunately we spent the 5 days using cell phone data. There were times where we could use it but most of us couldn't. They have many networks available and they tell you that you have an exclusive network for every two cabins... But that didn't happen and even the password is the same for everything. (I upload a screenshot of how the wifi network appeared 70% of the time)
-Third issue: the activities they promote on the website are conditional on the itinerary of the days you are going to be there, for example we were there for 5 days and on those days there was not a single time for children's recreation. So they have an itinerary that you have before you travel... For families with children this is a downer. Children's recreation is a short-term activity for the kids once a week... But hey, you just have to be at that moment. And obviously they change the itinerary, for example we were going to taste world beer on two different days and in the end there was no day. (Of course, there are climatic issues unrelated to the hotel that prevent certain activities).
For me, it is a point against not clarifying that there is a list of activities/spaces that you can do/use freely (golf, the games room, the gym, the boys' plaza) but that there are activities that you may find touch or maybe not.
- fourth point against: there are some maintenance and facility issues that need to be improved, mainly in the games room and the boys' plaza: broken floors, lack of safety measures on the stairs (those leading to the room through the bar were like laminated wood, somewhat slippery. A non-slip strip solves that.
And the last point against is the mattresses. It is a universal practice that there are no double mattresses in hotels, but rather individual mattresses joined together... Great, in our case the bed kept separating. At one point I laid my baby down to breastfeed him and when I leaned on my elbow in the middle of the bed I went down 🙃. I suggest that they improve the way they assemble the bed so that it doesn't separate so much.

We have been there for a week, on a half-board basis and staying in a lodge for 2/3 people (No. 16) and the experience has been very good. First of all, I would like to highlight the attention of the staff, their correctness, kindness and willingness to satisfy the needs of the guests. This is valid for both the gastronomic and spa sectors. It is worth highlighting the size and facilities of the lodge, consisting of a very spacious living room and a bedroom area, both with a complete cable TV with a variety of channels, plus a full bathroom, refrigerator, electric and microwave ovens, and complete set of dishes. Every day you receive a WhatsApp with the scheduled activities and the menus for both lunch and dinner, with options for vegetarians or people with dietary restrictions. Finally, pleasantly surprised with the gastronomic part, due to the variety and quality of the foods, many of their own production such as baked goods and cold cuts and sausages. The place is beautiful, the cabin is very comfortable, the service is impeccable. They provide original and very fun activities for the whole family. I want to highlight the care that the staff has with the client, starting with Angie who, with her constant attention and kindness, was attentive to my comfort and safety in the pool and jacuzzi, always with a smile, to Mar who welcomed me with a special warmth. Matías, a true professional, made me feel at home, so I highly recommend his therapeutic massages and the waiters and kitchen staff who were attentive to my dietary needs at all times and with the best disposition. Very grateful to everyone for the exquisite attention they have given me during my stay at the Balcón del Golf.

Excellent experience. The food is of a high level and quality, I would say better than many 5-star hotels, super gourmet homemade, it is a point to highlight. The cabin is comfortable and cute and has everything you need. The spa is basic and quite familiar and playful, but it is good and Matias the masseuse is excellent. It is a very nice and well kept complex, located a few blocks from downtown, facing the river. The cabins are spotless. They are very comfortable and have everything you need for a good stay. They offer activities every day (walks, guided tours, tastings, games, etc.) The complex has an indoor heated swimming pool (with a spa area) and an outdoor swimming pool that is heated from December to Easter approximately. Warmth in the attention, excellent gastronomic proposal with great variety (super breakfast and dinner!), in a beautiful place surrounded by nature. Very comfortable cabins, adding different activity options (climbing, coffee tasting, drinks, music, stargazing on the hill, outdoor and heated pool, etc.) I will surely come back!!! I am more than satisfied with my week-long stay at Balcón del Golf. The cabin seemed better to me than in the photos (which already looked nice), and larger in size. Super abundant food and lots of variety. The incredible view. Mar del Spa is a genius. I went as a family with little girls and it is ideal, it has games for kids, inside and outside. Although I think the outside ones would need maintenance. In any case, there is a very nice and large square 4 blocks away, on the main avenue.
