We were driving from Buenos Aires to Puerto Madryn to see some Penguins. Needed a place for 1 night. We rolled into Bahia Blanca with no city map and no reservations. After a couple of passes through town and getting a little concerned with what everything looked like, we happened upon a tourist office and they sent us to the Land Plaza. We were very happy with the price and the room was clean and comfortable. We had a large window with a view of the city and the thunderstorm rolling in. Free secured underground parking. Staff was friendly and helpful but don’t expect a lot of English spoken. Breakfast was fine. The people present were mostly business looking. I thought the place was a surprisingly good find at the last minute.

we had to stay 4 nights in this hotel due to required PCR test for an international flight and a visit of relatives.
The service as well as the rooms ( in need of some renovations) were ok but not more. The breakfast was the worst on our one month trip - not even freshly cooked eggs were available!
We would rate it a 3 Star !

This is the best hotel in Bahia Blanca, so save your time and don’t try to look for something better as it simply does not exist.
The rooms are expensive and not very well maintained. The heating and cooling is a centrally controlled system so the best you can do in your room is to make it hot or simply use the fan noise as white noise to drown out the other sounds.
The owner has undoubtedly made an enormous amount of money on his investment and has chosen not to put any of that money back into the property. The beds and sheets are old and worn; the carpets make you want to wear socks or shoes all the time.
The food in the restaurant is not bad and the staff is super exceptional and friendly.
The breakfast is designed for late risers as there is nothing hot until after 7:30 AM, but the rolls are always fresh and good.
It is a convenient location for public transportation and shopping and a reasonable distance from the airport.
Stay here because the staff is great, but don’t come here thinking this is a five star hotel ( It’s five stars for Bahia Blanca and nowhere else).
PS The WiFi is terrible !!!!!!!!!

The hotel is nice, big rooms, good breakfast. Staff is friendly and the location is good, near to some few good options for craft beer and restaurants. Garage is quite small, but at least is covered. Should try the medallion de Lomo, great beef

I first stayed one night in Austral hotel but moved to hotel Land Plaza because of the Austral hotel standard and service. The Land Plaza is a good hotel. Clean rooms, gym, pool and bearable wifi (as opposed to terrible).
All staff spoke good English and the attitude of the staff was excellent. Especially the service in the restaurant where Laura and another girl was very friendly. I only had a hamburger for dinner and some ham and cheese plates with my colleagues; the hamburger is not recommended but the jamon and cheese platter was excellent.
This is the hotel of my choose I'm Bahia. Very good.

They say this is the best hotel in Bahia Blanca which is probably true. Its ok but a bit run down. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Water is strong and hot. The bathroom is actually the nicest part of the room.
Internet connection is not good at all. Very unstable even if getting connected. The front desk said they were working with the provider to resolve but I was unable to work with my laptop while at the hotel.
The room was very warm even though the nights were cool. I tried to turn on the AC but only hot air came out.
My second night there my room wasn't made up. They offered to make it immediately up but I declined as I wasn't in the mood to be bothered by housekeeping.
Breakfast is ok but not great. I noticed that the cereal is left out overnight so it was probably stale. I didn't try it.
I suppose if you have to spend the night in Bahia Blanca, this is amongst the best options. Just don't expect much.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, thus it was acceptable. Lacking, however, were any niceties that make it a quality stay.
1. Sewer gas smell in the room, emanating from a floor drain in the bathroom. Apparently this drain doesn't have a P-trap to block sewer gas. Each day, and sometimes multiple time each day, I poured water down this drain to eliminate/reduce the smell. The fact that this only worked for a short period of time tell me that this drain doesn't have the standard P-trap.
2. The room doesn't have an iron and ironing board. When called, the front desk will send up an iron and board, if they have one. The board was a very small one that has to be placed on the bed or counter top. The small size and design of the board makes it very difficult to iron clothes. On one evening I called the desk, needing to iron my cloths for the next morning, and I was told that they were all in use - none was available until well past the time I needed to leave the next morning. I had to wear wrinkled clothes that day.
3. The room only had a couple of hangers in the closet. More were brought when I asked for them, but why isn't each room initially furnished with a sufficient number of hangers.
4. Wash cloths are not available. The hotel staff didn't even know what a wash cloth is. I used a hand towel each day in the shower.
5. The TV has no English language channels, nor are there any English language newspapers available in the hotel.
