Detailed Reviews
A different option for our stay in the city center. We usually travel once a month and I am thrilled to have discovered Sofia Soberana Boutique Hotel. It consists of very comfortable apartments and substantial breakfasts (room service).
The staff is very nice - especially Alfonsina - who complied with all our requests both times we stayed at the hotel.
There is a downside, though: there are only two spaces to park your car at the hotel and although they have an agreement with another car park, it is two blocks away. Pretty uncomfortable if you have any problems to walk or you forget some stuff in the car.
The staff is very nice and helpful - especially Alfonsina

After a disastrous day of travelling I suddenly found myself having to spend the night in Bahia Blanca and with none of the known chains having a presence and being shown a few hotel options that felt very dated I ended up at this hotel which I can thoroughly recommend. It’s brand new and really is a series of mini apartments each with a bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen. Each one is themed after an international city. There’s a small lounge type area you can have a drink, but not a attended cafe as such.
The staff was excellent making me very welcome and were very helpful. The rooms are large, fresh and welcoming and the bathrooms are very good with excellent showers. They also have parking if you were to have a car.
The price includes breakfast. You can make your choice for breakfast which they bring to your room as a large spread. I thought it was well priced. If a foreigner remember to bring your passport avoiding to have to pay the tax. The only negative is that there’re no phones in the rooms, but I guess it would be helpful to at least call reception.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Bahia Blanca this is an excellent option. Be it for one night as was my case or for an extended stay.

I have stayed in this apart hotel before, in which it was a beautiful experience, but today, it changed.
I arrived at night, the treatment of the girl at the reception was acceptable, she was friendly, and would be. We stayed in the Moscow room and something that surprised us is that they gave us a handicapped room (or something like that, there were handicapped handles in the bathroom. Also, I noticed some comparisons between the first time and the current one , this room did not have a window in the bathroom and something is that it also did not have the same toilets. But we had no problems with that.
One thing they do need to give is more keys, there were 3 people in the room, and there was only 1 key, for the light (you can still use all types of cards without any problem) and to enter the room. The bedroom door was difficult to close, you had to close it hard, and the bathroom door sounded like you were entering Dracula's castle. And the bed was very hard.
Something that did make me feel somewhat “insecure” is that the receptionist who is there at night, when I was leaving my apartment to call the elevator, appeared at the back (where the staircase door is) asking me why I was going up the elevator, because he saw me in the cameras. As I said before, it made me feel “unsafe” and not leave until what would be check-out time.
Previously speaking of keys, they should add access with magnetic keys to the main door, because at night, they are not usually on the ground floor much, I still didn't wait long, it was a few minutes, but it's an idea.
The girl who brings you breakfast to the apartment is very friendly, and the breakfast was also very good!
Anyway: I would return but in a while, when this can change.
