Our nicely furnished room had desk & chair, TV on the wall, open wardrobe with safe & fridge, and 2 good single beds. We had a bathroom with washbasin, toilet, bidet & shower over the bath. The window can be opened. Good Wi-Fi. All was very clean.
We stayed for 2 nights and had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. The food was surprisingly good. An OK buffet breakfast is served: scrambled eggs, bread & rolls, small croissants, cookies & pastries in Italian style, cold-cuts & cheese, butter & marmalade, juices, cereals, milk & yoghurt, tea & coffee. Hotel Argos is a comfortable and practical accommodation. Recommended.
The hotel is affordable, and is simple. If you are looking for western-style luxury and amenities, you will not find it in Bahia Blanca
It was comfortable and clean. The beds were comfy. The wifi worked well on the rooms but not the restaurant.
We had no problem with air conditioning and it wasn't too noisy.
Rooms were large and had safe and good lighting.
Big bathroom with good shower but no plug in bath
Staff were helpful and spoke reasonable English.
Restaurant area was a bit large and souless. Food was actually ok -nothing special. Nothing cooked for breakfast-just fruit cereal etc
Despite the very friendly staff the hotel doesn't have the necessary infrastructure, or if it has it is not well maintained, that you need to spend a couple of very hot summer days in Bahía. In general I found most hotels in Bahía to be better suited for winter than for summer.
Here is our experience: we booked a Senior Suite that didn't have the air conditioner working at all. We found out this at 12:00 AM after being told that the room was hit because it was empty and that by the time we will return it will be fresh. We tried three different rooms to finally found a standard room in which the A/C tat least was blowing some cool air. Two nights later we came to our room to found it was terribly smelling cigarette. When I went down to complain about this "new surprise" I was told that we were in the smoking area of this particular floor. Something that nobody from the front desk told us after our tour on our first night.
The following morning we left the hotel first thing in the morning.
In summary, the worst hotel I had ever been in Bahia Blanca, I strongly recommend to avoid going through what we went through. The Land is cleaner, and after a couple of complaints A/C start working according outside temperature.
Staff at the lobby was very friendly and helpfull
Food : only had lunch here .
Quality of the food is not very good in my opinion .
Staff in the restaurant was very unfriendly.
The rooms are clean, no comment here - but the walls are very thin.
Breakfast is on the light side, but hey - we're in Argentina! But it had fresh juice...
Wifi is on the light side too - but works, slowly.
Location is nice, not too noisy but walking distance to the center.
If coming back I'll certainly book this hotel again!
