The Hotel is an old building, very well kept (however some minor details could be improved). You feel the vibe of the 40's.
Decent breakfast, the mattresses were a little bit worn down.
Friendly staff.
Because of the hot weather we took a room with airco and got room on the second floor with a balcony on the street side and very high ceilings. Yes, there was street noise but standing on the balcony with the stone lions looking down on you, certainly made up for this.
Behind the hotel is a big parking space that guests can use for an additional fee.
Breakfast was the usual affair in a business hotel.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I paid hotel rate, and got motel service.
It is an old building, which seemed cozy at the beginning, but as soon as I got into the room, I saw it was not worthy.
My first impression, as I reached the reception, was like a not interested person, that seemed to be annoyed for something, didn´t even say hello to me.
The bed had a so cheap mattress that felt like an air mattress. Horrible.
Then, the bathroom, is so old fashioned, that it had a leak, making an annoying noise all the time.
At night cable TV and internet was down, and was not even solved, when I left in the morning.
I will never go back there, and I recommend you many other options in town.
The staff couldn't be more helpful and while the rooms aren't huge, they are sparkling clean with high ceilings and all the amenities. Request an inside room with air conditioning and you will be pleased with your rest - beds are good.
The breakfast was the best we had in Argentina - more than the usual media lunas and coffee - eggs, ham, cheese, fruit, yogurt and more.
Wonderful surprise and good place from which to explore the city.
The reception was great and the attention we received was wonderful, we were right at home. We took a Suite which was very reasonable. marble floors, wood paneling, olde worlde lift ...clunkety clunk... If you are looking for an experience occasion this is for you. if you are looking for ultra modern....then not for you. we will return.
Lots of noice from pipes out side the windows. Your sleep is very important, as a travel technician, and being awakened every hour, is not good for every one.
I stayed in 6 different rooms, as i were working different Places in Argentina, comming back was new Challengers. One was not cleaned before use.
My experiance made me feel really greatful, to move to another hotel in town.
My biggest complaint about the Hotel Muniz was that Wifi does not work for any iOS devices. I could not connect, and therefore asked for help, and was told that, "it does not work for Apple devices, and they don't know why".
"The rooms overlooking the streets can be noisy on weekends due to parties and social meetings outside."Read full review
