Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A boutique hotel that was excellent in every respect - the staff were courteous, helpful, professional and pleasant. We had access to our room early, we were provided names of restaurants for the evening meal and reservations were made for us, we were treated to a complementary glass of wine, and the morning of our departure airport transportation was arranged. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood but within walking distance of an area full of bars, cafes and restaurants. Our room was on the third floor - it was spacious, clean and there was a balcony. The bathroom was large - two rooms and the towels were bath size! Breakfast was included - good selection and everything was fresh. If someone is looking for a cozy place to stay this is it - we can easily recommend the Magnolia Hotel.

A lovely welcoming place, very nicely decorated reception / library area, good rooms, in walking distance from the restaurants & entertainment of Palermo. Not the biggest choice for breakfast, but so nicely presented, it all shows "class". Very kind staff that gave good tips for restaurants and "places to go". We arrived from Europe in the morning, and could take a breakfast (instead of having it on the day of our very early departure).

Magnolia Hotel Boutique is a darling small hotel in the heart of a thriving part of Palermo. The location is great, walking to lots of hip restaurants. The staff is warm and friendly, and super helpful for travelers with limited Spanish language skills. Special thanks to Mikaela for all of her kind help. The BA public transport system and Uber make it easy to get to any part of BA from here. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for something more personal and special than a typical high rise chain hotel!

We had a fabulous stay. It is a beautiful small quiet hotel in a quiet neighborhood. In particular, the staff were excellent. They were always very helpful. For example, when they called a ride for us, they always came out into the street with us to make sure all went smoothly. I would happily stay again

I stayed here for the first 3 days of a 10-day stay and it couldn't have been a better beginning for my trip. Convenient walk to a bunch of restaurants (including Fogon Asado on Gorritti), the botanical garden and Distrito Arcos outlet mall. Appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. Breakfast was the best of my entire stay. They even accommodated me one morning before a 7:30 am day trip depature. If I'm ever back in Buenos Aires, I'll definitely return!

We found the Magnolia struck the perfect balance between luxury pied-a-terre and international hotel. The understated restoration of this old Buenos Aires town house is thoughtful, charming and relaxing. It was our Buenos Aires base which we stayed in three separate times over our holiday - firstly when we arrived in Argentina then between trips to other parts of the country. Our rooms were grand, comfortable and practical and we found the location very convenient for exploring the cultural and foodie destinations in Palermo and Recoletta that interested us. Most brilliant of all, the women at reception were so very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They, even more than the lovely breakfast and the wonderfully vast and soporific beds, made our stay absolutely five star.

This place is a real gem and so pleased we booked to stay here. It’s small extremely homely and chic tucked away in a quiet area. The service was exceptional and the staff helped us with every single request whether a taxi into town or simply afternoon tea or evening wine. The breakfasts were absolutely delightful too. Simple but beautifully prepared and so tasty. Everything was fresh. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
