After winding your way up to Headlands House Guest Lodge you'll be blown away by the panoramic views from the lounge, dining room, deck and bedrooms. Debbie and Meghan were both amazing with recommendations, organising reservations and transfers, friendly conversation and general awesomeness. The lodge is a super short walk to the Knysna Heads View point which is spectacular, and if you feel like braving the walk back up the hill, you can even walk down to the Coney Glen Beach/viewpoint. Breakfast was delicious and the place felt like we had it all to ourselves in spite of them being fully booked.

Am amazing stay at this guest house. Both hosts were so welcoming, kind and helpful. We stayed in the elephant room and the view was unforgettable and the little chocolates on the bed made the experience so special. Would highly recommend staying here during your trip to Knysna

Even though we could stay only one night, Debbie received us with a friendly "make yourselves at home and enjoy the views". We felt like we just arrived home after a long journey and could relax while taking in the beautiful view of the mouth of the lagoon. Our room, with clean white linen and a large bathroom, faced towards the lagoon which was great, but if one can get a room facing the ocean, it would be awesome. Nevertheless, we had access to all the facilities, including the swimming pool on the deck, from which you can't stop staring. Breakfast is done precisely as you ordered and Debbie is most willing to suggest places to visit according to your interests. Overall a good stay and good value for money. We'll be back when visiting the area again.

Stayed in the Coney Glen Room within unrivaled view of the Knysna Heads.

Amazing host Debbie who gave us very useful recommendations on visiting some of the local wine farms in and around Knysna and Plettenberg Bay as well as local restaurants to visit.

Had an excellent home made muesli as part of our breakfast serving.

A really great two days spent.

Excellent location, fantastic view from room, nice amenities, great breakfast, very helpful staff. Special mention for Crystal, very helpful upon our arrival.
Thanks to Debbie for the excellent breakfast service... Safe parking space available.
One suggestion - if possible serve breakfast from 7:30 am & provide slippers in the room as the floors tend to get very cold....
Overall a very nice stay ... 10/10!

Once in Knysna we drove into the tourist information office where we were met by a very friendly and helpful officer who twice said “The Heads” is a must!

Well, The Headlands House is right at the top with unrivalled views. We were met by the lovely Crystal who checked us in. We had the Seahorse room with an incredible uninterrupted view over the ocean. The room is perfect 10/10 in cleanliness, view and amenities. The sunny balcony is great!

Two course breakfast, individually cooked by Crystal and her team, is served in one of the most scenic dining rooms in the area. We were lucky to have had the table by the balcony in both days.

The landlady, Deborah, is extremely pleasant and most welcoming. It was really great to chat with her about the region, SA, dinners, etc.

The Headlands House is a short walk to the Heads as well as the beach and we felt the area completely safe.

We would definitely go back if we are fortunate enough to return to SA.

Thank you Debbie, Crystal and Team

We only could stay one night, but had a great stay at Headlands House on our way home after completing the Otter Trail. The position, views (of both the lagoon and the sea) with balconies on both sides of the spacious room, the king-size bed, huge bathroom, and delicious breakfast (homemade muesli and "everything" omelet really delicious) made it all such a treat. Walking along the cliffs a short way from the house was also very nice. Although quiet on this chilly Sunday night in winter during Covid times, we can imagine this guesthouse is very popular normally! Hope to be back! Thanks Debbie for the last-minute assistance and booking, and for making us so at home!
