My wife and I stayed at Muunga Bush Lodge and Spa for four nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was perfect! On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Ruan.
Ruan was an exceptional host, who went out of his way to ensure that our stay was most memorable. The photographs of the Lodge do not do justice to how beautiful it actually is! The Lodge is well-maintained, our room was spotless and the modern finishes throughout give great aesthetic pleasure.
Our meals were delicious and Ruan ensured that our dietary requirements were catered for.
Muunga Bush Lodge and Spa is an absolute gem and we will definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hosts went the extra mile to make sure that we were taken care of, the massages that we booked were very relaxing. The hosts ensured that our activities were booked and all we did was relax and enjoy. The breakfast was delicious and they keep the rooms clean throughout your stay.I highly recommend one to visit the lodge, it’s beautiful!

A fantastic experience. Ruan is the perfect host. This is a beautifully furnished, intimate lodge. The food is fantastic and we enjoyed the spa, cycling around the nearby trail and Ruan arranged an excellent game drive. I’d highly recommend Muunga Lodge and hope to return soon.

Our stay at the lodge was amazing, the couple hosts and staff were amazing…attentive & helpful . They were also helpful in recommending activities and places to try out around Hoedspruit. The reception was warm, the rooms and general areas were clean and well kept. Will definitely be back!

What an AWESOME experience, a real gem in Hoedspruit and can strongly recommend this special place to each and everyone. From arriving until departure, Ruan and Jenny were always ready to make our stay even more pleasant and went out of their way making this the most memorable experience ever. The lodge is of world class standard and the massages offered, were the cherry on top!! Muunga Bush Lodge will most certainly see me again.

The Lodge is beautiful! Interior is georgeous. Ruan and his wife have put all their soul there. Ruan is super helpful with each and every request. Just note that you need a car, if you want to move around. We absolutely recommend Muunga bush lodge if you visit Hoedspruit!

Amazing place with amazing host. The room and the shared space were very nice and clean. The host received us very nicely and was very hospitable. The meals at this place were very tasty. He knows the activities and the area very well and gives us useful information. It was a very good experience to host this place for our honeymoon.

Unforgettable experience. The lodge is beautiful, modern and very clean. The hosts are the greatest (they went over and above for us). The food was really delicious and fresh. The best lodge I’ve been to. I absolutely recommend!

We spent a lovely weekend at Muunga Bush Lodge for our 28th wedding anniversary. We had a very special and romantic weekend. The food was delicious, the peace and quiet, the room and not to mention the bed was incredibly comfortable. WOW!! We enjoyed relaxing at the pool, going for a walk and sitting outside in nature. In the evening we sat outside at a bonfire. The attention to detail and the hosting by Jenny and Ruan was fantastic. The lodge is very stylish and comfortable. I also had the best full body massage I have ever experienced. A weekend to remember. Thanks very much. We loved it.

Ruan was the most gracious host all the time, nothing was too much to ask, the entire team did their work with a smile! It is a family run private lodge furnished with great taste throughout, amazing food and surrounding. Winston, the cocker spaniel, gave us great company… We will be back!
