Detailed Reviews
I have been to many beautiful hotels and grateful for all the wonderful experiences. This boutique hotel from the moment we walked through the doors was met by Sipho who greeted us by name, chatted and made us feel at home. Our room was superb with stunning finishes and a luxurious king size bed that hugged you to sleep ...the roof top bar with the amazing service from George who also bought us a delicious dinner was thorougly enjoyable. The breakfast is fresh and wholesome and presented by stunning staff and cappuccinos are made by a barista....there are no better words than "a slice of heaven". Thank you Hilois for introducing this beautiful, peaceful and relaxing home away from home to us. We are definitely making this our special place to visit regulary 🤩

This is the third time I have stayed at Home Suite Hotels Rosebank and I think it will always be my go to in Johannesburg. I much prefer the intimate boutique setting of the hotel. Hazel the little dog is such a delight and it really does give that overall home away from home experience. The breakfast offering is excellent and great value.
The fact that you can ask reception to arrange for something to be ironed and this seems to be free of charge is also so impressive.
I would highly recommend this hotel and particularly for solo women travellers.

The staff is truly kind and warm here and will be genuinely curious about you. The breakfast is fabulous and fresh with an omelettes cooked to order right in front of you and a lovely espresso bar. The hotel dog Hazel is also an angel and I never heard her bark once. You won't regret your stay. And don't forget to check out the pool on the roof!

The wifi was never slow, outside noise is at a absolute minimum.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. Let me start off by saying that this is the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed. For the 3 nights that I stayed here, the room was always very clean. This hotel is a modern boutique hotel with a clean fresh feel. It is in a residential area, but still about a $3 Uber ride to a lot that the city has to offer. I took a $2.50 Uber ride to Rosebank Mall, which has lots of restaurants and shops. There is 24 hour security outside the hotel, and you have to have a reservation at the hotel before your car is allowed in. It felt very safe.
The room is very modern, and comfortable. I stayed in the standard room, and it was big enough and nicely decorated. There is also a decent size wardrobe to hang your clothes. The bathroom comes with very good quality and nice smelling soap and shampoo. The curtains are of good quality, and don't allow light in. The only issue I had with the room was the TV; there were absolutely no stations on it. Not even sure why they had a nice flat screen when there's nothing to watch. No cable or satellite TV. Netflix didn't work either.
There's a rooftop deck with a swimming pool ( a small one and I didn't use it)) and sitting area that overlooks town. It's a nice place to sit and sip on some wine.
The breakfast is plentiful and yummy. I love a good breakfast, so this was very important to me. There was cereal, milk, pastries, bread, croissant, boiled eggs, a cheese spread, yogurt, fruits, juice, and they can make you your own special omelet with whatever you want in it that they have available. I ordered the omelet daily, and it was very good. I never had lunch and dinner there, but whenever I saw them serving someone food, it always looked very good.
The price ( less than $100 a night) for this hotel was very good for what you get. The employees were always pleasant and willing to assist. You can arrange for them to pick you up and drop you off from the airport for a very reasonable fee.
Shout out to Pummy in the dining room, and to the lady who makes the omelets.
Overall, I loved my stay in this hotel, and would return again.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at Home Suites. The staff are all wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed freshly cooked eggs ordered anyway you wanted them. The coffee was great too. The rooftop was peaceful and relaxing and the honesty bar was very welcomed. We always felt safe being welcomed back “home” by the staff at the front gate and also the wonderful dog Hazel. The location was great a short Uber drive to the attractions we visited and also close to Rosebank Mall and a large selection of quality restaurants. Would throughly recommend!

Home Suite Hotels was an ideal place to stay in Johannesburg. The room was beautiful and well-appointed, breakfast was delicious, the property was secure, and everyone we met (including the puppy!) was friendly and welcoming. It's also in an ideal location, close to some great bars and restaurants--but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful at night. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful, clean hotel with exceptional staff. We stayed here before and after our Safari and loved the hotel. We had a Deluxe room with a large living room, bedroom and balcony and the price was unbelievably affordable. The breakfast was fresh to order with choices. We had dinner our final night and it was very good. The hotel driver, Trevor was a joy!! Always on time, and always laughing. The entire staff was extremely customer focused and very helpful when our private cell phones stopped working. Recommend Highly!!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Hazel and all of her "staff", she really is the Queen of the hotel!
Demi, Noni, Busi and the other members of staff are very welcoming and will do all they can to make one's stay even more divine!
The only downside is the open restaurant that I avoided as the smell of bacon is so overwhelming that I was never brave enough to enjoy breakfast. Perhaps that and other meats could be cooked in the enclosed kitchen. I am sure that it would be appreciated by many vegetarians and other guests who don't eat pork.
I used to work and live in the area decades ago, so it is really like returning home for me and I cannot wait for my next visit very soon.
I highly recommend this hotel! Thanks guys ...

The pictures offered do not tell a different reality. A boxy construct boutique hotel protected-secluded unit in a plot without a garden or attraction but the suburban location itself. Rooms and facilities are excellent but not extensive. The rooms are fine but the sound insulation at night allows you to listen to next door opera. Staff courteous attentive and prompt. Bathroom with a cracked basis and a slow cistern tank that blocks occasionally. Breakfast is excellent and the room is cosy too. A comfortable trouvaille and an excellent choice. Good suggestion from a dear friend aand contrarian aficionado.
