About

#8 of 13 hotels in Plettenberg Bay
Travellers' Choice
This heritage building dates back to 1777 and was later used as a rectory by the Anglican church until the present rectory was built in 1939. The beautiful building has now being returned to it’s former glory and is the focal point of this boutique hotel. The old school building, which has historically been a church and even a blacksmith’s workshop has also being lovingly restored and is the home of the spa. Just metres from the beach in a quiet cul-de-sac, it’s position gives you perfect access to one of South Africa’s most picturesque and naturally beautiful seaside towns.

Service, rooms etc absolutely amazing. I stayed on my own and nothing was to much trouble for anyone working there. Very special place and I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Plettenberg Bay.

A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Plett town. Having stayed in summer and winter I would say a summer stay in much more enjoyable as there is a stunning pool area and lovely outdoor tables for breakfast in the summer. It is also a very short walk to the beach. The rooms are comfortable but on the small side

This is a wonderful little boutique hotel in the heart heart of Plett, just a few hundred meters from the Beacon Isle beach. Our stay was faultless - big beds with quality linen, great toiletries, a massive hot shower, lots of attention to detail. The hotel itself is decorated with care and attention, with great art and interesting features eveywhere you look. We enjoyed a drink in the little bar as well as dinner in the restaurant, and again, everything was delicious, the staff were amazing and we loved it. The breakfast was so generous that we felt stuffed (scones! oats! eggs! smoothies! the list goes on). We loved our stay here and wouldn't hesitate recommending it or stay there again next time we are in town.
