This is about our 9th stay at the Coraya and as ever the rooms, staff and facilities never fail to impress. Easy access to the beach, where it is always less breezy, access to the bay reefs. The beach bar staff are excellent, always around to take orders and very friendly. Rooms as ever were spotless and the choices at dinner were varied with us always finding something for dinner. Al Fayruz is a great a la carte option included in your stay and worth visiting. Given the current situationStaff were always cleaning and sanitising. Unfortunately a guest arrived at the hotel and tested positive for covid19, which resulted in an enforced quarantine. Very impressed how the management and staff reacted, quickly arranging all meals to be served at your room for something that was totally out of their control. We will be returning hopefully in October when all this madness has started to die down. This hotel deserves to continue its excellent service and hope all staff stay safe

Just returned from a fantastic Christmas and New Year. Each time we go it just gets better and better. We requested a certain room as usual and was not disappointed as we were allocated it. The staff go above and beyond and make your holiday unforgettable from management to the gardening staff. Everyone speaks to you and makes you feel at home. We call this our second home.
The Gala nights for Christmas and New Year were amazing. The marquee looked spectacular and on arrival was made to feel like royalty as we were escorted by a member of staff to our table and then waited on all night. Attention to detail was unbelievable.
Our room boy was amazing. Our room was kept immaculate so thank you Mustafa.
A big thank you to all restaurant staff, Fayruz and the beach bar for the fantastic food and also the beach and pool boys for keeping us supplied with drinks all day and a big thank you to all Night n Day bar staff.
The best time to snorkel is early morning when the water is crystal clear. The coral and fish are beautiful and hopefully will always stay this way as the staff on the beach do their upmost to protect it.
The hotel are trying to protect the environment by reducing the amount of plastic they use. It is a slow process but at least they are trying.
Looking forward to the 18th March when we return for three weeks with our two best friends and hopefully they will love it as much as we do.

This year was our eighth time staying at Coraya Beach & it won't be our last. The hotel is maintained to a very high standard & the grounds are beautiful. The attention to detail in the architecture is amazing & there is a wonderful feel to the place that you sense immediately on arrival. The rooms are well kept & the room boys keep them scrupulously clean. There are blackout blinds on the windows & the beds are large & very comfortable so a good night's sleep is guaranteed. During the day we stay by the pool & we are well looked after by the bar staff who are constantly on the go bringing drinks to you where you sit. The bar is also a swim up with seats integrated into the pool if that's your thing. The pool is used for the daily aquagym which takes place at 11.30am & the animation team make keeping fit great fun (we prefer to watch rather than get involved). In the evenings there are live singers & other entertainment in the main bar area though we prefer the quiet at the Oriental Cafe where you can enjoy a drink & a shisha whilst playing cards or just chatting & watching the stars. The food. Oh the food!! The buffet restaurant is amazing & you can find something to please your palate at every meal. The quality is second to none with an outstanding selection. The staff are fantastic & everyone is so friendly. We love Coraya Beach & wish we could spend more time there. Tips for your stay: We usually go late February/early March so the evenings can be quite cool. Remember to pack a warm jumper or sweater to wear just in case. Daytime temperatures can be higher than predicted & the sun is quite intense so keep hydrated at all times & top up your sun cream regularly. If you wish to have a different pillow or a bed topper just ask reception & they'll have them brought to your room. Tip the bar staff because they work very hard.

We picked this hotel for the reviews. Up to us been told to stay in our rooms six days in all the food was not hot at all meals a microwave would help. After being quarantined they gave you no choice of menu and not to my liking at all just ate a few pasties and the odd piece of fruit. Was very hard work getting drinks to our room if you rang the reception they ignored your requests, you had to go looking for the lad with the trolly.

The health and safety of our guests and associates are our top priority. Since the beginning of the spread of Covid-19, we have been consistently implementing additional measures in the areas of prevention, hygiene and protection. In doing so, we rely on the recommendations of the international health authorities (WHO and CDC) and go even further if necessary. Our hotel is also in permanent contact with the responsible authorities and ready to implement additional measures if necessary. Our third visit to Coraya Beach proved to be an even better experience than our first two. We were welcomed back by the very friendly staff. Our pool view room was excellent (we asked for, and received, the same room as last year). All areas of the hotel were very clean and the standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel was very high. The all-inclusive tariff is exactly that as it even includes your laundry, I had a tour of the heart of the hotel including the kitchens, laundry, staff dining room and workshop. I was impressed with the standards in all these areas. It is obvious that the management sets high standards at this hotel and does everything to maintain them. So many of the staff deserve a mention but we especially appreciated two members; Said our room cleaner and Jasser a supervisor in the restaurant.

Well don’t know where to start. This hotel has obviously listened to every gripe that hotel clients have with hotels and actually done something about it. The hotel is simply lovely, in a perfect bay, protected from the wind, a walk-in sandy beach and a great layout. Good quality furniture, in the rooms and around the hotel. Comfortable sun beds with thick mattresses, chairs on the beach and around the pools with thick cushions. The service is fantastic, constantly guys coming up and asking if everything is okay and do you want a drink, actually coffee served to you on the beach in china cups with saucer and spoons and hot. Entrainment was the best we’ve seen in Egypt, really professional. The food was really good, especially the salads and fresh fruits. You can use 3 restaurants in the Alaya hotel next door which is good. Drinks good quality and all wines are served from a bottle not a plastic container behind the bar. Free mini bar in the rooms, free laundry service, free wifi. Kettle, tea, coffee and milk in the rooms. Adults only. Clean toilets everywhere. We will certainly be returning.

Just got back after spending Christmas ans New Year at this excellent hotel. Staff were excellent, so was the food. The hotel was very clean, I also found that the idea of using the hand cleanser on entry to the restaurant was a good idea. Could NOT fault the hotel at all.

Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Nubian style, flowers and bougainvilleas, palm trees, greenery, hot Egyptian Sun, swimming pools, calm sea and corals, Adults Only concept are ideal combination for a stress relieve and great vacation. Rooms are cozy, good seize, tastefully decorated, comfortable, including coffee and tea tray, also a pillow menu, slippers, sewing kit, bathrobe, dental kit, cosmetics, hairdryer. Main restaurant offers many choices of food for every taste, including gluten free, vegetarians, 5 minutes boiled eggs & 8 minutes boiled eggs, live cooking stations: pasta station, sandwich station, pancakes, crepes, BBQ, themed evenings – Oriental cuisine, Seafood cuisine, Middle Eastern cuisine, big choice of salads, bread, pastries, desserts, ice cream and many delicious dishes. Champagne during breakfast time every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Fresh vegetable juice making station during breakfast every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Admiration! A kind lady bakes fresh local bread, in traditional way, outside near Fayrouz restaurants, every day. Admiration for animation team - young motivated people. Recharge yourself with stretching, aqua gym, yoga, step aerobics classes. Saturday is day off. Tennis, squash, darts, boccia, Zumba, volleyball are the other sports activities. Fitness room, health club, spa. Swimming pools and sea areas are spotless, offers lots of sunbeds, tents, hammocks, little free libraries. Take a book and a glass of cocktail and enjoy. Both, nonalcoholic and alcoholic cocktails are really good and tasty. I recommend Pharaoh club(all inclusive). In my opinion, Steigenberger Coraya Beach is an oasis. Me and my husband choose the resort for my birthday vacation. The staff surprised me with a sweet birthday decoration and birthday card in the room and a beautiful flower decorated dinner table in the main restaurant, plus the personnel congratulated me with delicious cake and mini traditional musical performance. I was so happy. Many thanks for making my day special. Best of the best in resort are people – the staff & all workers who take care of our comfort. Came here for a week for some winter sun and the hotel largely delivered. The layout is very attractive on a sloping site down to the beach. All the good points have been well documented by others but the beach is worthy of special mention. On a cool and windy day at the main pools we were amazed at how warm and pleasant it was down on the beach with the very effective windbreaks. The Fayruz restaurant was excellent for lunch with waiter service and a good menu. We struggled with the main restaurant as due to the cold nights no one sat outside which made for a very noisy atmosphere indoors. There was a multitude of choice but not a great deal which appealed to us. Luckily we were able to visit four a la carte venues at this and the neighbouring TUI Alaya which were much better. Again, the Fayruz was the star. The wifi speed was excellent but was constantly disconnecting which was irritating, there seems to be some sort of capacity issue now everyone has multiple devices. The evenings were cooler than we expected even though we have visited Egypt before and one day was particularly cold. The hotel is geared to outdoor evening entertainment so it falls apart a bit when it is cold as even with heaters and blankets few braved the elements. Finally it is well worth emailing the hotel in advance if you have any special requests. We asked for a first floor room by the pool which we were delighted with. We thought this was the best hotel in the area of those we saw especially for its sheltered position when the wind blows. We would not return at this time of year due to the cold nights but spring or autumn would be ideal. Special mention to the Fayruz staff who provided impeccable service.

The location was extremely well maintained even the leaves are being collected all day long. We had a very nice room with sea view and enjoyed the silence all over the premises. The staff tried everything to keep us satisfied. Every one was very friendly and even the in house retailers did not even try to bother the guests. We realy enjoyed every single day.
