Detailed Reviews
Three of us (my husband, my brother and I) shared a Two plus One apartment as we were visiting the area. It had two bedrooms each with a double bed, a kitchen with all possible conveniences, a dining area, lounge and balcony with a sea view (with views of fairly horrible roofs containing air conditioning units!) and a shower room with washing machine. It was fabulous! I suspect a man designed it as there were no mirrors in the bedrooms, which was a slight inconvenience. I would definitely recommend it apart from Saturday nights when there is music and loud singing and shouting until 1o’clock in the morning. We all found it impossible to sleep because of the noise. We were told afterwards that it always happens on Saturdays because the local pubs have extended licenses.

Thanks for your review, it is appreciated. In summer in those few north side apartments, the double glazing has less effect as we all have our windows and ranch slider doors open. And yes Muldoon's Irish Bar does have live music at this time of year. We are pleased that you did enjoy the other aspects of your stay though and we would welcome you back to sunny Orewa Beach again in the future. Best regards, Freda and Eric @ Ramada Orewa

This room was spectacular. I highly recommend this if you are in a group of the or more, because the price is less than that of the two cheapest rooms, yet it is glorious! A 220sqm penthouse on level 10 with huge views. The staff were responsive.
My only niggles were (1) it was somebody's apartment, so there was a nespresso machine but no pods provided, and their own centralised, complicated system for the three TVs and (2) we were charged $40 more per night on the phone than the online price (FYI cant seem to book this room from Wyndham Ramada website - must go to nautilus Orewa site), (3) the main entry seems a bit finicky with residents seemingly occasionally having trouble getting in too.
The heated pool is wonderful with views of the huge Norfolk pines around and if you're tall, the sea. The two heated spas are fabulous.
Covid- wise, I felt safe, with signs not allowing strangers to use lifts at the same time.

We spend 3 nights were were given a complimentary upgrade to an apartment with direct ocean views, it would have been a 200 degree view - just fantastic. a 2 bedroom 2 bath room apartment with full kitchen was more than we could have asked for. The quality fo the linen, appliances, furniture was excellent, we had 2 leather 2 seater electric recliner couches that my husband was ready to take home !
Complimentary secure assigned car parking was a huge plus.
Our apartment had 2 balcony's at the side that gave a great breeze. We did however find it unusual there was no airconditioning, it didn't affect us as we were staying in autumn - on the final day ti was an still perfect day and the sun made the lounge very warm, so summer could be a challenge
Location was excellent so close to everything but very little noise due to double glazing

An overnight stop at the Ramada suites. The town of Orewa is pretty grim which is a shame as the bay and scenery at one time must have been beautiful. The Ramada suites are modern and clean although very noisy in the early hours with lorries delivering to the nearby supermarkets and refuse lorries, reversing. Local restaurants down market and grubby.

Thanks for your review and for staying with us. Not sure where you had your restaurant experience which I hope is not the norm. The area has become a bit of a restaurant and cafe mecca for the district and, perhaps excepting Mondays, is generally vibrant and well thought of. Anyway I do hope the balance of your trip was great and that you got back to the UK okay.

We were here for one night and we really enjoyed the location (nearby shopping, restaurants, and convenience stores) the room and the amenities. Particularly the washer and dryer in the room which was a real surprise and unexpected. The bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom were way more than adequate. We were on our way to Bay of Islands so this really worked as a great stopping off point to break up the day having traveled from Whitianga on the Coromandel Peninsula.

This hotel was recommended by a family member & we were not disappointed. Our suite was larger than most comparative accommodations complete with kitchenette & a balcony, washing machine & dryer with washing powder provided. Check in & out was simple & efficient. Short walking distance to Woolworths store & eateries. The beachfront was also nearby.

+1
We arrived at the Nautilus Orewa 15th September and were greeted with an overwhelming smile and welcome from the hostesses. The hotel managers Eric and Fred are fantastic ambassadors for New Zealand hotels. The hotel rooms are a reflection of these two wonderful managers. It' was such privilege to be a guest at the Nautilus Orewa, we extended our stay form 3 days to 4 days. Thank you so much for the experience of true hospitality team Nautilus Orewa. Queenie, Maea and Narne.

The hotel was top notch and located centrally so shopping and dining was in easy walking distance.
The staff were expert and inconspicuous - the rooms were clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and had all the simple everyday necessities - tea, coffee, milk soaps etc.
Freda and Eric were excellent, considerate hosts.
I highly recommend the Orewa Wyndham Nautilus hotel.

Beautiful apartment, very comfortable furniture on the 7 th floor with a great ocean view, very welcoming reception.
Very comfortable bed, underfloor heating was very much enjoyed by us not used to that.
No time to check out facilities as we were out touring. Loved the area.
Orewa has grown a lot since we last visited many years ago.
