Came to Ohakune to ride Timber Trail and canoe the Rangitikei. Stayed for 2 nights in premium chalet (14) Nicely furnished and clean. The chalet was modern and beautifully appointed. My only issue is that we paid extra for a room with a spa that never worked. Raised it with the manager and he seemed reasonably disinterested in assisting..... not impressed with lack of interest.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Rocky Mountain Chalets. Staff were very helpful, the 3 bedroom chalet was clean and comfortable with all the facilities of a small home including an excellent kitchen with everything required to cook and eat home-cooked meals. Beds were really comfortable and the heat pump kept the house toasty warm. There was a nice dining area with table and chairs for 6 people and a lounge with a modern TV and comfortable seating for 6 people. We will definitely be back.

Lovely two night stay at the Rocky Mountain chalet. Two bedroom Chalet was nicely appointed and had games for the kids to keep them busy in the rain. Ryan at the front desk was extremely helpful and informative. Thanks for our stay.

Chalet was spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped, warm, comfortable and welcoming. View of the mountain top from our front door. 2 indoor spa pools and a sauna available on-site and a stones throw from Ohakune town centre....right next to the big carrot. Fantastic host was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this lovely accommodation.

We stayed for 2 nights in a 2 bedroomed chalet. It was clean, well furnished and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Great to have a washing machine and tumble dryer! If you like walking, the Tongariro is a must. Also the Mangawhero Forest walk was really good.
