This motel is so clean It’s always a pleasure to stay here even during covid level 2. Although you had no contact with staff they made sure you were well stocked up for your stay abs were only a phone call away if you needed them which we didn’t. Top place

The motel had all the extras. More then enough crockery, pots, pillows etc. Extra milk given without being asked. Very pleasant for 3 adults to stay. Encouraged recycling. View of trees. Super nice reception staff.

We have stayed at the Peaks before but this time I contacted the property after we had left to find out the make and model of the bed we had slept in there. We didn't think there was anything wrong with our existing bed but after sleeping at the Peaks we have now ordered a new mattress.

Very friendly staff, super clean rooms with everything you could wish for. The drying room is super effective too. Nicely positioned for peace and quiet and makes for a restful sleep after a day out on the slopes

We arrived after 7pm with no booking and the lovely woman in the reception could not have been more helpful. She offered great suggestions for other places to go on our road trip and was so friendly. The room was clean, well presented, and had a good heater so toasty warm. Highly recommend.

This place was very well maintained and you could see the effort they put into looking after the rooms. Also the hosts went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and also gave us some update information for our trip. I would stay here again.

This motel is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Ohakune. As you look down the road you can see the impressive Mt Ruapehu standing proud above the surrounding countryside, with a substantial cap of snow even towards the latter part of summer. The rooms in the motel are very spacious - probably the largest we stayed in on tour. There was a large spa bath and facilities to prepare a simple meal if need be.

Stayed here for three nights while skiing. Very close to Start of mountain road. About a 15 minute walk into the town centre and a two minute drive. As we were traveling down got a call from owners to see when arriving which was nice. Check in very friendly and quick. When got into room was very warm as heater had been turned on. Fresh milk in fridge not UHT. Had a stove and microwave in kitchen. Fridge is small but can fit in enough food for a couple of days. The room was clean and tidy and had a spa bath with shower. Sky TV and free wifi. There is a drying room for your ski gear. We were in the units in the next drive way from reception very quiet and great view of mountain. The outside lights appear to be left in all night so the room has light in it all night from the small window by the entrance so if don’t like sleeping in a room that not dark then bring eye mask. It is kind of a first world problem though. We will definitely be back
