Lovely place to stay room was comfortable. Had a bath in my room, nice large corner one was very pleasant to be in after mountain biking. Had rather noisy neighbours, the walls are not soundproof so keep in mind others on your floor when staying here

Just recently stayed at this fantastic hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The accomadation and food were outstanding. We have stayed at hotels all over the world and this one would rate in the top 10. A big thank you to Annie G for making the twins 60th birthday a enjoyable and memorable occasion.

The building itself is all timber and cosy which is what you expect in a ski resort town. The restaurant and bar were more than adequate however the unexpected bonus was the very friendly staff. We were made welcome right from the start and greeted at the bar and restaurant as if we were family. I have never experienced that anywhere else in my travels. Suffice to say we had lots of laughs. This rounded out a nice weekend where we also did the Tongariro crossing. The hotel organised the transport and provided lunch which made everything effortless. On our return we used the heated indoor pool to rest our tired limbs. All in all a great experience.

Great stay as always. Good food next door and nice accommodation with new bathroom. Love having a dip in the heated pool after being outside in the cold. Nicely situated with only a short walk to the village and a great view on a clear day of the mountain.

Stayed here as part of a Tongariro Crossing package. The excellent stay started with a warm and informed check in. The team here are friendly, genuine, knowledgeable and professional. The all wood building is well maintained and very clean. The rooms are generous. Fantastic new bathrooms. The heated pool is soooooooo good after completing the hike. The food is excellent and portions are really generous. Loved staying here!!!
