We stayed overnight in an Economy Studio which was delightful, very much in keeping with the area. The unit was cosy and comfortable, especially the bed, tastefully decorated, good bathroom, good kitchenette, everything that was needed and all immaculately clean. Provides areas for ski equipment during ski season. Excellent location in the center of town, close to restaurants and food centers. Free WiFi and free on-site parking. Excellent value for money.

We have just spent a lovely weekend at Snowhaven lodge. We were in a studio room which was modern, clean and well equipped. The bed and pillows were really comfy. Yes there is a bit of road noise but not excessive and I always travel with ear plugs anyway. The best bit was the Thai massage... an hour of absolute bliss. Soft music and beautiful smelling oils, so good after our Old Coach Road bike trip. There's a spa too. Thank you so much to everyone at Snowhaven Lodge, we had a fabulous weekend :)

Very welcoming and relaxed check in, we had no booking just showed up at the door basically. Receptionist lovely to deal with. Room small, had everything we required for one night, comfy bed, heat pump, clean and tidy, tea, coffee etc. metres from the centre of town and free parking/ internet. We had a front room facing street, that's the only problem and niggle, lots of noise from trucks, cars etc. The view of mountain, outstanding. Would stay again but at the back.

Would so recommend staying at the B and B accomodation. On Manuka street, different location to Snowhaven. Very friendly host, comfy bed and nice breakfast. Warm room too. I booked via the snow haven website and got details of address via text.

The motel/ hotel or BnB, or whatever it was. Had tastefully decorated rooms. The one we had was very small and the bathroom compact. There was nothing very much in the way of cutlery, china or utensils. Traffic noise could heard even in the back units. I booked and paid for breakfast to be delivered to our unit but on arrival was told that we had to walk up the road to a back packer type lodge to have a buffet breakfast. We were pretty upset about this. If we had known that we had to do this when booking or on the website, we would have gone to another motel where you could get better service. We were spending time up there because it was my birthday and we looked forward to being a bit spoilt and having a special breakfast but this motel no longer does special. We will never go there again.
