Hotel Las Leyendas is a restored historic house which was built in the 16th century. The rooms are comfortable and contemporary, yet still retain much of the original charm of the building with exposed stone walls and beams and have views of the city Wall.

The hotel was very good and the attention of the girls at the reception, both on the day of arrival and the day of departure, was very good and very friendly. We parked on a nearby street, parking is a bit complicated in the area on the weekend, but there is parking nearby. The breakfast, buffet style, is very good for the price, €5.95. They replenish the buffet dishes when they run out. If you have a baby seat, you can go up to the wall using the elevator that connects to the restaurant.

A smallish room, perfectly clean, nice bathroom, good WiFi, tv we didn't try, no fridge or tea and coffee facilities. No bar or food service, not even breakfast unless on the weekends. Just 200 metres to a city gate and El Rastro parking which was €16.50 for 24 hours so fine for a short stay immediately next to the city with no parking issues at this price point.

The room we were given, which was one of those of a double bed, was at the back of the hotel, past the whole garden and was possibly the quietest. Plus there was a nice little terrace across the street.
Regarding the negative, we found it a very ugly detail the fact that they had removed ALL the sink caps, bidet and bathtub. If they put in the description of the room that there's a bathtub and then it turns out you can't bathe because the caps have been removed... it doesn't seem right.
On the other hand, we asked for directions to arrive and we waited more than half an hour because the customer service is outsourced and they had no idea how to indicate us.
Despite this, I have to say that the care with the reception staff, when we managed to talk to them, was always correct and very good. And the hotel was very nice and in a very central area, lucky that even not many parking spaces, those nearby are all free.

Great hotel located right by the walls in stunning Avila.
Our room was spacious and went out to a great garden area where we sat and had a drink while re- charging our batteries.
Staff were friendly and gave us loads of information to make the most of our stay.
Restaurant La Bruja which is attached definitely worth a visit too.

The hotel is original, nice and well located near the wall. But! The cockroaches that are in the bathroom at night already spoil your whole stay, the friendly staff and I found the automatic check in a bit cumbersome. There was also no tub cap

It is a very central hotel in the city of Ávila. 5 min walk from the big market. Quiet, comfortable hotel, where you sleep very well. Good breakfast at €5.9 per person. Public parking next door.

Nice hotel next to the wall of Avila. The drawbacks are that it does not have a parking space to unload luggage and the air conditioning is limited to 27 degrees and with almost 28 degrees there is no one to rest. It's a shame especially about the air conditioning.

Lovely little hotel close to the city centre. Was a nice walk from the bus station, and enjoyed my stay. Very welcoming staff and really enjoyed the hotel. Would happily stay again if visiting Avila again. Reasonable price and a comfrtoabke stay

Staff are friendly and responded quuckly to a couple of issues in our room (no loo roll and a broken safe) - all spoke English. We had a ground floor garden room which was spscious, clean and modern. The bathroom was well equipt, the double bed large and comfortable. Wifi was very good. Great location literally just outside the city wall - great location to explore the wonderful city. We didn't try breakfast and didn't eat in the restaurant - so I can't comment. There is ample parking in the streets around the hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel with an incredible restaurant for lunch (need to book way in advance). The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was well worth it. One can easily visit the old town late and early when most of the tourists are gone. Also there are a few excellent restaurant within walking distance (see Avila restaurants section). There is a 24 hr secured public parking nearby.
