Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were a group of 5 and the hotel was fantastic value.
The rooms were a good size and clean.

Highly recommend this if visiting the area.

Nice and close for the Las Luminaries Festival in the nearby town.

A four stars hotel in the outside of Avila but not too far from it, with much to improve. TV so old only 4 channels. The bathroom had a dreadful smell. In a small courtyard at dusk, a colony of starling made a deafening noises even during overnight! The restaurant is not addressed properly. Living areas unattended impossible have a drink. Is regrettable see a misdirected hotel can be an enjoy full place to rest after a fantastic visit to Avila. Actually is not werth to stay.

I was disappointed...

We were assigned a room with two beds, when I expressly booked one with a large bed. They didn’t solve it at reception but they didn’t do anything to make up for their mistake or to make up for the discomfort. The girl who was at reception on arrival seemed therefore unqualified and unresolving in the circumstances. Also charged me the whole stay as soon as I arrived, detail little cuts and bad taste being a 4* hotel. The TV wasn't working well and we finally turned it off. I could have told you at reception, but when I left they didn’t ask me how my stay had gone or show greater interest, so I left my key and left. Breakfast has not been to my liking either. The table didn't even have a tablecloth, and the truth is, it wasn't in a tapas bar.. The juice was not natural, but well, at least if concentrated, it could be rich, this was more like water reconstituted with powders and that detail takes away from it... They were missing serving cutlery and the hot tray with eggs, bacon and sausages was cold. Overall, it has left much to be desired. I regret that it could have been an amazing stay, it has fallen halfway... I have been in lesser category hotels with more attentive details. I have been disappointed and I do not recommend it and I do not think it will ever return again.

The only positive thing, the friendliness of the staff and a nice, clean room.
But the breakfast was disastrous, with a single very slow coffee machine for a long line of customers, and a shower that went without interruption from scorching to freezing, so we opted for the latter, given that it is August. On two occasions they assured that they would come to fix it, and in the three days we were there it never happened.

Last September 8 and 9, a family group of 45 people stayed and the experience was excellent. The treatment of the staff has been very professional and very pleasant during our instance. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, very clean and well equipped with furniture, with a bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower. The common spaces on the ground floor - reception are spacious, very comfortable and adapted very well to the after-meal needs of family groups like ours. We had dinner on Friday and Saturday at the hotel and were very satisfied, both with the quality of the service and the food. Most of the members of the group have proposed returning next year.

After the lockdown you would’ve expect that the staff would do certain trainig regarding the new guidelines concening Covid 19.All the clients have to wear a mask and constantly use the gel which is fine but it feels a bit unfair that the staff does not comply to the new rules. I did not see them washing their hand each time they had to clear the tables where there can be droplets from the costumers but they come streight away at your table touching your drinks. They are dressed with the same clothes that they wear at home and public instead of changing at work in a clean uniform. Very long nails in some waiters that made you wonder what can they hide under then and so on.It frlt like they need to protect from us (the clients) but them just wearing a mask did not represent a safe feeling for the constumers especially at the breakfast when your food was served by a lady in a dress that she came from home...no gloves and not washing hands as she was suposed to. The hot water is not working and the door keeps not opening.Thank God it is not a long stay.

This was 4 star hotel with zero star service. No hangers, no coffee making facility, no drinking water and no iron in the room. The receptionist staff are rude and less than helpful, the food is awful and the bar service is none existent. The kitchen closes early and you are stuck in middle of nowhere. The basics that you would expect in a 4 star hotel are just not there.

Shocking treatment. Staff were unhelpful and unprofessional. Massive wardrobe but no hangers. Lovely rooms but no coffee or tea facilities. Queue to the only coffee machine was eternal. No food despite coming late from a delayed flight. No four stars, more like a basic hotel.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of nature, pool, buffet breakfast, but above all the staff, friendly, friendly and discreet.
Especially Javier Palomo who is a charmer.
Spacious and clean rooms.
Thank you very much, we will definitely be back.

Depende.
