The vibe is great! I booked in for two nights and ended up staying for nine. Very nice common area with two pools. Lots of activities and surf lessons with great instructors every day. So it’s really easy to meet people and make new friends. The food, especially the Indonesien buffet, is amazing and the staff is great! The dorms are very well thought through. The beds are really comfy and have curtains and lockers close to the power socket so you can leave your phone in the locker while charging. The Bathrooms are nice and clean.

Elsewhere Canggu is such a great time with amazing company! The hosts are so accommodating and events are fun.
The location is perfect, close to the action but not too close, so it’s quiet at night. Beds and pillows are comfy, bathroom is decent.
The main attraction is the surf school! If you want to learn to surf or even learn more than you already know, their sessions are great and instructors are amazing. SO helpful.
The value of their surf school is the post-session photo analysis where they run through the photos from the session and give constructive critique and tips for improvement. I love this so much and my first three days surfing in Canggu with them I feel equipped to continue my surfing journey.

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed with! The staff is amazing, especially the surf instructors - they are SO competent. It was my first time surfing and with their help I managed to stand up and catch some good waves on the first day already! 😍
Big plus - they clean your room and bed every day so it always feels fresh and clean to come home after a long day and go to bed.
The vibe in the hostel is great, I’ve met so many lovely people from all over the world, and the hostel organizes common activities every day to make it more fun for everyone!

I really liked the place as a solo traveller, they do lots of activities and have friendly staff. What I liked most is that the dorm beds have curtains which makes u feel like you could actually have a bit of privacy, it did a lot! Clean and fresh, feels very new renovated and with surfers package lots of free things and inclusions.
I developed in surfing a lot during the week as a beginner with my instructor and It is nice to have photo analysis to watch yourself.
It is a bit party vibe in the centre of Canggu and they play music until maybe 12 o clock a lot of the nights with activities so you always have a chance to join in.

Best place in Canggu! They offer delicious food for a good price, all you can eat mostly. I booked a surf lesson with Ippy and learned so much. Comfortable Matress, everything is clean and spacious room for your stuff. You can always join the party which are at the camp on Friday And Monday, with free punch and Happy Hours.

Elsewhere was the first hostel I had ever stayed in, plus it was my first time traveling solo. So, I was a little nervous on my first day, but I had so much fun here that I wish I was able to stay for a month! The staff was so warm and welcoming: the office workers Rizqi and Rick, the host Sarah, and the bartenders Mike and Isme were so kind and made my stay very memorable! I purchased the surfer package here and it was a great price for all the benefits you get, I would recommend it for anyone wanting to surf during their stay here. I looked forward to going surfing every morning for the camp. It was my first time getting on a surfboard but the instructors: Eddy, Sam, and Acun were incredibly helpful and always told you how to improve for the next time you stood on the board. I have made lifelong memories here at Elsewhere and I hope that I can stay here again in the future! There were also events at the hostel almost every night, which made it really easy to meet people and make friends to go out with. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone looking to have a fun time in Bali!!!!

I loved this hostel! Staff were great and so friendly. There were group activities every night. Loved the sunset walk and the free flow nights (free drinks). They had a Indonesian all you can eat dinner every night for an affordable price and met some great people here!! Highly recommend!

I had a really good time here as a solo traveler! Super social hostel. The lessons were great and learned a lot from it: the instructors really gave me a lot of tips to improve. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. All the staff was very friendly all the time. I would really recommend getting the surfer’s package as everything is nicely organized and you can join all activities. Lastly, the food was delicious (thanks Ari 😉)

Good enough stay for me to go back within 2 weeks!
This hostel is the perfect blend of indulgence and peace. Being a solo traveler, there’s so much lined up for interaction and bonding, parties meals surf lessons and more. Located in the heart of Canggu, everything is walking distance and convenient. It’s home away from home - from the amazing meals to the surf analysis post surfing guiding you on where and what to improve, from movie nights with pizzas to monday bonding over drinking games - you’ve got it all covered.
Safety and sleep being their top priority, someone’s always up all night along with the cameras functional and they ensure no loud music or pool chilling post 10 to keep everyone happy, sound and well rested.
Highly recommend this place in Canggu for solo or group travelers.

The check-in was very sweet and made me feel welcome straight away. The guests there were equally friendly, I think this place attracts openminded, good people who are up for a drink, but do not disturb your sleep in a dorm room. The drinks and food are all wonderful (a bit pricy though). It was greeaaat fun to do surf lessons with people whom you know a bit from the hostel already and the lessons are great. 1 teacher on 2 people and after the lesson you discuss with the group what went well and what you need to work on.
