I have just returned from an amazing stay at escape haven. From the moment I arrived at the front gate, to the moment I floated out, the staff here took care of my every need. Set in a stunning location, it oozed tranquility and the perfect private, luxury setting. Everything ran perfectly, and with such professionalism and ease by the most lovely team. They make this a truly unique experience by tailoring your needs and even to addressing each one of us by name, and what our dietary requirements were. Allowing us to completely relax. Everything is so well thought out and done with great attention to detail, The food served here was of very high quality and ingredients. Every meal was delicious and devoured by us all, and complemented our itineray. The table setting was always set beautifully with different floral arrangements at every mealtime. The spa treatments and activities available were all of very high standard, I especially loved the Ayurveda spa treatments and the Yin Yoga. I had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning again!.

Last week I finally had my retreat experience at Escape Haven. I was expecting great things, but my experience surpassed my expectations. The service was better than a 5 star resort. The staff is so attentive, thoughtful and quick. The head butler Komang was amazing! Always ready for our needs. Our rooms, were all done by the time we finished breakfast, at nighttime they had our bath ready filled with flowers and relaxing music so when we finish dinner we could have a bath in my own room. Food was superb! it was healthy, filling and with great variety and adhere to my dietary needs. We also had a cooking lesson and then got to enjoy the fruits of our labour. the head chef was our teacher and he was so patient and kind. Yoga and meditation with Megan was perfect. I was a little rustic so it was the perfect way to ease into it. I also had boxing training with Pipping and he pushed enough that it was a workout without overdoing it. And last but not least the spa treatments were seriously the best I've had in Bali. The Ayurvedic facial was out of this world. No kidding, best treatment I've ever had in Bali. I cam home filling refreshed, nurtured, healthier and so so happy. I couldn't recommend Escape Haven enough. 10/10 !!

Escape Haven is a beautiful gift to give yourself; just enough out of your comfort zone to shake up your routine if that's what you need but can easily just be a luxury solo holiday with no deep soul searching. You choose a room according to your budget and you select a 'program' according to your goals for the week - and the team schedule your week for you (although you can also customise this too). Most meals are sorted for you. Coconut water, fresh smoothies and iced sweet ginger tea is free flowing. All the other guests become your family for the week. There's hugs and tears shared all week; it's a journey (But you can share as much as you like.)
I can't say anything bad about my experience, apart from this: it's not your usual 'Bali good value' holiday - you're paying Aust prices for this stay. And if I'm completely honest, the health retreats back home in Australia have been more impactful for me. But I don't want to take anything away from their offering. It's well planned, the property is lovely, & there's a huge amount of staff available for your every whim (roughly 3+ staff to every guest). The biggest 'pro' is honestly the team there. They feel like family instantly. They actually do have your best interests at heart and you can tell. I hope to stay in contact with some of these women for years to come.

Thank you so much for this lovely experience. This place is so beautiful and we had such an amazing time here. The staff are so sweet and are happy to help with anything you need (or just have a chat too). The bed I slept in was also amazing and I had the best night sleep (always very important) and enjoyed relaxing around the pool with a coconut in hand.

This July I returned to Escape Haven for the third time. My first retreat was a Surf/Yoga package back in 2011. That retreat changed my life. I went from being an anxious surfer riding the white water to catching clean waves and learning to trim and turn on the waves. The message left on my pillow in the evening said ‘life begins on the other side of your comfort zone’ and I was so ready to learn that lesson. Janine created an environment where you felt so safe and cared for that it made it possible to put yourself out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself. My second visit was in 2018 flying solo. I stayed at The Palm Tree House with a smaller group of women. I just needed a holiday on my own to reset and relax. I met the most amazing group of inspiring women from around the world and we are still in touch today. I felt completely safe and comfortable as a woman travelling on my own and by the second day I was jumping on a bicycle and exploring Canggu on my own. Of course, I couldn’t wait to catch-up with the other women and share our stories over a cocktail in the evening at one of the amazing venues nearby. This year I returned with my sister who was celebrating the end of her cancer treatment and new beginnings. What a perfect place to do this. The delicious food, fresh healthy juices, daily treatments and massages were exactly what we needed. We chose the Aryuveda package this time and it was perfect for my sisters healing. Along with her body feeling cleansed and nurtured she had time for some spiritual and mental healing as well. As busy women this is often something we neglect and definitely something the team at Escape Haven embrace. In fact, the staff at Escape Haven are possibly the loveliest, warmest people you could meet. Nothing is too much trouble, your every need is catered for and by the end of your trip you’ll be in tears at the thought of leaving your new Balinese family. I cannot recommend Escape Haven highly enough. My sister and I are already planning a return trip next year. We miss our Bali family and can’t wait to return. We miss you guys 💕🌺🥰🫶

I'm not often someone who writes reviews, however, Escape Haven deserves a raving 10/10.
Visually, this place is a dream. The villas and pool areas, rooms and dining room are well maintained and decorated and it feels like paradise once you walk in the doors. My Master Suite was spacious, gigantic comfy bed and pillows, large wardrobe and I enjoyed the separate shower/bathtub.
I very quickly became comfortable with the staff at the retreat who take a lot of care in ensuring your personal schedule suits your needs/easy to understand/need to make any changes or add additional treatments. The service in this retreat is unreal. The water in the bedroom topped up daily, healthy snacks upon airport pickup, any time during the day, or in the room. Cold aromatic towels for cooling down after being outside exploring. Shuttle offered every hour. I could go on....!!
My consultant Cynthia felt like more of a friend to me which I really appreciated, nothing felt like too much of a request, we were always encouraged to ask for what we need eg. thinner pillows or at one point I needed someone to collect waterproof dressings from the pharmacy for me and it was taken care of quickly! I loved being able to laugh with her whenever she would check in on me throughout the week. She took care of my treatments and paid attention to my likes/dislikes in our first conversation to set up the perfect week.
Unexpected highlights: despite every online forum claiming January to be a 'write off' because of the wet season, I was lucky enough to experience full days without weather disruptions and incredible sunsets.
Being greeted with a smile every morning felt like a new luxury I never got sick of.
Carlos at the Coconut Lounge bar is an enthusiastic mixologist, loved his energy and his surprise smoothies!
Bonding with the other women on retreat over the week and building friendships with people from across the world. The cacao ceremony was incredibly empowering and solidifying of this bond.
The week of activities really allowed me to live in the present (coming from someone who is addicted to their phone). Everything is planned for you (with flexibility to change if needed) taking the stress of decision making away and truly able to just receive and relax. I could keep writing but I won't, it's to be experienced hopefully by other women out there seeking break and desire to heal 🧡
It was an unforgettable week and I'm grateful to leave with loving connections to Bali and everyone at Escape Haven.

Wobbled in tired and weary, and almost floated out a week later! Escape Haven exceeded expectations on every level. The quality and diversity (and quantity) of the meals was amazing, and there was never any shortage of snacks, juices and hot drinks. Devi and Kadek always preempting my desire for hot ginger tea! The massage staff were all incredibly well trained and caring, taking care that you got the most out of each experience. Antare provided the most remarkable Ayurvedic treatments with a real tenderness. Twice daily Yoga with Marieke and Frankie allowed me to transform from an absolute beginner to an enthusiast, setting up my yoga corner immediately upon my return. Their teaching provided a clear understanding of the practice and was also fun :) I would recommend the Ayurevedic package which includes a consultation with Marieke that will get you back on track - physically, spiritually and emotionally. I chose the single private villa which included an amazing open bathroom with outdoor shower and bathtub in a garden. The turn down service each night was a delight with a small gift and inspirational quote left behind. Within 24 hours every staff member knew your name, even the drivers and the housekeeping staff, and everyone used it. No request was any trouble, the attention to detail was remarkable, requests to changes to schedule undertaken with a smile. it was a lovely week with ladies from across the world, sharing our stories and experiences, and a lot of laughs! i can't recommend Escape Haven highly enough and will certainly return. Consider it the best investment in yourself that you could make :)

Where do I begin.... When looking for a retreat I couldn't find any where that ticked all my boxes like here. I'm from Ireland and searched in Europe but when I found Escape Haven online I kept coming back to it and in the end i book it. I wasn't nervous about travelling alone, I was more nervous that I would travel so far and it wouldn't deliver. It absolutely delivered and blew all of my expectations out of the water. The moment I arrived I was picked up at the airport and a cold towel, snack box and cold bottled water awaited me. I knew then this was going to be a special experience.
It's hard to put into words exactly how precious Escape Haven but this is largely down to each and every person working there. Everyone knows you by name and the level of care and love that is shown to you is something I have never experienced before outside of family and close friends. I did the healing package as I was so close to burn out after a hard year. I now know that everything they plan on each day is done with purpose. Little by little you are unpeeled like an onion and all the crap you've been carrying with you when you walk is, is taken away bit by bit. The unlimited treatments are exceptional. Every ache and all the stress melted away. I left feeling revitalised, and relaxed, a feeling of being born again. I went with a hope to reset and achieved it. My mind is free and has stopped racing. I can sleep. I look different. I feel different. The food is on another level. You are never hungry. The juices, smoothies, ice teas are plentiful and I've never been so hydrated in my life😅 They are always one step ahead of you and you don't even have to think. I've never felt so calm and relaxed. Hands down the most kindest individuals I have yet to meet. I have started my saving fund to go back hopefully next January. It's the best investment I've ever giving myself. I am 100% all about self love now. We tend as women to care for everyone else except ourselves. All I can say is go, you won't regret it for a second xxx

I was blown away with the intention and service provided by the Escape Haven team. The food was keto-focused, super healthy, nutritious and delicious, the spa treatments divine (try the bamboo massage) and the beds amazing. The retreat location is perfect, nestled in a quiet jungle spot just minutes from the beach and my favourite spots in Canggu.
My highlights were being greeted with a frangipani lei, the floating high tea, the huge smiles from the team, the yoga with Meghan and opening cacao ceremony with beautiful live music and intention setting. I feel like a new person thanks to the team including Chef Witana and Mama Putu, Komang, Yuri, Devi and Kadek.
I can’t wait to come again! Highly recommend for women who want a week of pure bliss where every detail is taken care of.
