We stayed for 4 nights at Zin in the villa with private pool and loved every moment of our stay. The vibe is very relaxed and the whole place is gorgeous and in a great location parallel and within walking distance to the busier Batu Bolong street. Lots of cafes along the street that Zin is on and convenience stores to grab necessities. Staff are amazing - friendly, helpful and attentive. The room is gorgeous with nice interior design, huge bed and nice bathroom facilities. The pool was perfect temperature and surrounded by nice greenery. The food and coffee within the resort restaurant are good, well priced and room service was always pretty quick. There is a rooftop bar for drinks at night and views over Canggu. We also had a free massage in Zin's spa which was delightful.
We genuinely had no real complaints for our stay however a couple of things to keep in mind for those considering a stay are: - some of the rooms are 'noisy' at night time due music from a nearby bar. This wasn't a problem for us and didn't interrupt our sleep, and can be expected due to the awesome location of Zin. The staff provided us with earplugs daily which was very thoughtful (we slept fine without them). - Whats app is needed to communicate with FOH staff from your room and to order room service etc. We were unable to set the app up to our phone whilst overseas (not Zin's problem) so make sure you have a whats app set up before you get there! Otherwise it is just a short walk to the front desk/cafe for any enquiries or to order food to the room etc.
Highly, highly recommend this place for a beautiful stay in Canggu. Special mention to Mo, Weaty and the drivers who were awesome, and a big thank you to all the staff. We will definitely be back!

To be honest I didn’t know what to expect from Bali and I was constantly reminded that the island and infrastructure is a bit run down. Although it true, the level of service and genuine hospitality in Canggu has been one of the best I have experienced in the world. The rooms are spacious and you have the option of two pools to chill in. Anggu and his team certainly made sure I was looked after through out my 6 Day stay. I was more impressed that even the cleaning and service staff was also very well trained
The rooms are serviced regularly. They also come in the early evening just to spray the mosquito repellent which I thought was a nice touch. Unfortunately there was still one or two in the room at night, but then it is Bali so it is what it is.
The Zin Cafe provides excellent inclusive breakfast options on their a la carte menu, which is a nice change from the standard buffet and honestly better. I would say the western options are better than the Asian options but the standard is generally decent.
The spa is small but has everything you would need and with the locations of two different rooms I certainly enjoyed booking more than one massage.
The only one thing I would say is that although, my fault, that I accidentally booked a 2 person breakfast inclusive stay for this solo trip. It would have been lovely if they can rectify it when I was checking in instead of me paying for breakfast for two.
The other plus side of this hotel is the location. There is a yoga sanctuary across the hotel and provide cheap and really high quality teaching for yoga classes throughout the day.
Overall I would definitely come back to stay at Zin and maybe try out the other rooms in the future.

This was our first international trip as a family with an 11 month old and the team at Zin were so friendly, accomodating and thoughtful during our stay!
We stayed in the bamboo bungalow room which was amazing and really spacious and comfortably fit a travel cot with heaps of mat space for our bub to crawl and play, the beds were so big and comfortable however we did find the pillows were slightly to firm/high so having an alternative thinner pillow available would be good. The pool was the perfect size for an morning dip however it’s worth noting these are shaded and a bit too cool for a bub - the two main pools are in sunshine so a comfortable temperature.
A lot of comments mention the music/loud noise from the rooftop bar and you can definitely hear it everywhere in the complex, however this did not effect our sleep or our baby’s sleep very much at all we just had the white noise going and it was just an additional background noise. The music is to be expected as you are close to the beach and the Bali tourist culture includes beach clubs/bars so you will likely experience it to an extend everywhere in these high tourist areas.
We also loved the continence of having really good and affordable massage/pampering services onsite so we did not need to leave the hotel!
The onsite cafe also has an really good selection of meals and made it easy to cater for our Bub who enjoyed the fruit/smoothie bowls and an egg omelette daily for breakfast! The staff were so friendly and got to know our morning coffee orders which was so lovely - highly recommend trying the golden milk which was amazing and definitely one of the best I have had.
We loved the location which was easy walking distance to nearby shops, beach, cafes, yoga studios.
Overall we were so glad we stayed at zin and would recommend it to others!

Fabulous service, couldn’t be faulted. Fair bit of noise late at night (every night) due to surrounding bars however which was very off putting . Staff apologetic and accommodating in this. Staff allow shower in a room during the afternoon which assisted prior to our departure.

I never been to Bali before and choose Canggu after visiting UBUD because I saw pictures and fell in love with the Zin Canggu resorts immediately .. I love the interior design and we had a room with its private pool right next to the spa, where We had a few fabulous massages by the way ...the masseuses are really good ! there’s a club across the river and was little bit annoyed with the music the first night but it was ok the rest of the stay. It wasn’t that loud I guess. It’s a pity really ‘cause otherwise we can hear and sleep at the sound of the sea .. which is amazing.. The hotel is very close to the magnificent beach and that’s was exactly what I was looking for ..we are coming back next time for a surfing trip 🏄♀️ !! It’s an amazing surfing spot ! The staff is very friendly and professional and we loved to order our food through watsapp and our fast it was delivered to our room ! The hotel driver Moo took us to the airport to our flight back home and I was very touched by his story .. The hotel is expanding and there’s some construction but it didn’t bother at all .. I can’t wait to see the new part of the resort ! We really felt like home and loved it!!

What a stunning property. We stayed for 5 nights and wish we could have had longer. From the moment we checked in late at night to the moment we left, we couldn't fault anything. The staff are sooooo friendly and helpful, with recommendations or ideas of what to do and where to go, as well as just taking a general interest in guests. We spent a lot of time at the pool next to the river which was just magical. Such a beautiful setting. We had read lots of complaints about the smell and we're so glad we didn't let those comments put us off staying at Zin. Honestly, we only noticed a tiny bit on one occasion and it definitely wasn't anything like we were expecting. They light the most beautiful incence sticks in the morning which just adds another special dimension. It was so peaceful and relaxing any time of day. We used to take a coffee and sit down there early in the morning and enjoy the peaceful tranquility. Each morning we saw komodos in the river. There is construction going on around the property but you honestly don't notice it enough to be a disturbance at all. A couple of nights we heard music from a local club and fireworks, but again it wasn't annoying at all. Zin is a perfect location, 1-2 minutes walk from the beach to watch the sunset or grab a drink at a beach bar and just a few minutes walk to main shopping area (or just grab a scooter ride). It had a very relaxing peaceful feel but also enough noise and action around to feel like you were experiencing a bit of everything. If you want complete silence then maybe Canggu in general isn't for you, but you will be missing out on a very special place! All the food options at Zin are wonderful, and the rooftop is a lovely area for drinks/dinner at night too. Don't forget to boook the welcome massage as part of your stay - it was amazing. We had a deluxe bamboo room which was gorgeous. The grounds of Zin are so tranquil and so well maintained. Every staff member is so welcoming and friendly. We were here for my husbands birthday (which we hadn't mentioned to Zin), and when we returned to our room that night we had a wonderful surprise of a cake and note from the Manager - such a special touch! Thank you for a truly wonderful, memorable stay. We will definitely come back to stay.

The location, the room, the food - all exceptional. But what has really blown me away with Zin is their customer service, at every corner you are greeted with warmth and they actively do everything they can to make your stay comfortable and delightful. They responded promptly to all of our requests and were attentive to our needs. The spa is wonderful highly recommend the Balinese massage and coffee scrub!

Don’t even think about … just book here! Amazing stay at this beautiful, quiet resort. We stayed in the Bamboo deluxe room, which was beautiful & had a very large shower area & extremely comfortable bed. We slept like babies.
The tropical setting makes this resort truly a Balinese experience. The food, drinks & coffees in the cafe are fresh and delicious and beautifully presented.
Treatments in the Bamboo Spa were also excellent.
The location was great, close to the beach and many other restaurants and cafes, but very peaceful and quiet.
The friendly staff make this resort truly a delightful stay. Always smiling, polite, & always willing to help, these people are the gems of the hotel. The cafe staff were amazing. We especially wanted to mention Leo, Aldi , Nonik, Yudi, Sutarni, Riska, Yani.

Our stay at Zin was excellent. The staff being a particular highlight. They would go out of their way to ensure we had the most relaxing time possible, and were very attentive via the WhatsApp chat. No request was too much for them. From there the hotel itself is like a little oasis in canguu, with beautiful bamboo structures for their onsite spa and co working spaces.
The room was ideal, with fully functioning air conditioning (a god send), a huge bed and a hot shower. The room was cleaned every day to a great standard along with the towels being replaced.
The one very slight downside is the sound of music can be heard when it’s silent at night so if you are a light sleeper I would recommend ear plugs for the nights. Other than that, the stay was perfect and we’ve already agreed we’ll be back next year!
