We absolutely love Etu Moana and have just returned from our 6th visit. The new managers (Pip and Nick) are great - they were welcoming and friendly, and chatty and helpful (without being intrusive). You feel they genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. Villa 10 was great..

Kia Orana Annie & Nick, Meitaki atupaka, for taking the time to write a wonderful review on your recent stay at Etu Moana, the staff are thrilled that your enjoyed your days in Villa 10 and we are pleased you found the weekly 'cocktail hour' a pleasurable experience too. It is lovely to share stories with travellers over a refreshing cold drink prepared by Miti. Internet is very expensive, we accept your comment regarding Bluesky - we guess the best thing is to wean oneself off the internet and get out and about in Aitutaki and on the beach at Etu Moana (although we understand more and more these days it is a necessity, and for many, a holiday is only possible if one can keep connected). We certainly look forward to welcoming you back to your oasis for your 7th stay - whether it be your March Wedding Anniversary or mid-year birthdays (and we will get Rumours booked for either a Sunday, Wednesday or a Friday!). Ka kite, Pip & Nick Goodhew

OK, now this was the 20th visit to Etu Moana. Yes there was a wedding anniversary and birthdays involved, but we would go anyway, just because it's wonderful there. We loved the two girls at Reception (Matamanea and Bella). We always look forward to seeing new faces at poolside

We couldn't have lovelier return guests than the both of you and we sincerely hope that you keep coming and keep enjoying your visits to Etu Moana and Aitutaki in the coming years. Etu Moana and it's staff (which has now increased in number by 2) can't wait to welcome you back in February for visit number 21!. Myself and Paul and all the staff (and cats) love you right back and it was our pleasure hosting you - especially during your last visit with all of your celebrations. Another wonderful stay at Etu Moana. February can be a little daunting with the cyclone season in full swing. Yes there was some rain preceded by gorgeous white thunderheads and it did thunder and lots of lightning too, but it was beautiful. A great reason to take advantage of

Kia Orana Phil & Candi, As the new Managers we were honoured to coincide our start here on your 21st visit to Etu Moana. Thank you for your positive comments and we are glad the February storms, short lived as they mostly were, kept you entertained (despite the cats not taking to the spectacular thunder and lightening shows). Isn't it delightful to hear the ladies singing and laughing while they clean the villas, and we know Vili and Randy will appreciate your comments regarding the grounds that they lovingly and tirelessly tend to. The Vet Trek was superb and thank you for your part in it too. Another successful year for our five feline friends, so fortunate to have volunteers and carers from as far away as the USA. All of us here at Etu Moana very much look forward to welcoming you back to our shores for your next island sojourn.

This place is brilliant and perfectly combines comfortable surroundings with a laid back atmosphere. Cannot fault the facilities at all. We enjoyed using the free bikes and delicious fresh breakfast in the morning, and really appreciated the helpful staff who always greeted us

Kia Orana Mark, and thank you for your effort to spread the word on the island of Aitutaki and the Beach Villas at Etu Moana, we hope it will assist in the decision making for our future guests. All of the team are so glad that you found the Villas and Resort 'faultless' and that you so enjoyed the staff, breakfast, swimming and other touches provided. The deliciously smelling 'eis' on arrival certainly get you into island-mode right from the start, washed down with fresh 'nu' or coconut water to refresh you after your travels. We are sorry we missed meeting you, as the new Management team at Etu Moana, however we hope to host you on a future trip to our island. Meitkai atupaka, Pip & Nick Goodhew

We spent 4 days in Aitutaki and stayed at Etu Moana. The island surprised us for its beauty, above our expectations. Our stay at Etu Moana made the experience (if possible) even more enjoyable. We stayed in an absolute beach front villa, and we litterally had less than 30 steps

Hello, sorry for the late reply Most chalets that we saw were 6-7 steps to balcony. Steps up at back door too.

Is there wifi onsite and if not, a reliable cellular signal?
Hi, yes we do have wifi and we give you 500MB on arrival FOC per stay. If you need more than that then we sell vouchers at the office or you can put your credit card online. The signal covers the whole resort (recently upgraded) and although the internet in the Cook Islands is generally a bit slower than what you are used to it is actually pretty reliable. I hope this helps - we look forward to hosting you here :)

Koru Cafe is good as they will also deliver pre-cooked meals to your villa or uncooked BBQ packs. We also ate there as well. Their coffee is excellent. Real espresso for a coffee snob like me. I was so impressed I bought their souvenir cap!
