Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed for 6 nights and can not fault a thing, a truly beautiful resort. Our room was amazing and looked out over the lagoon. Staff were very friendly and helpful, arranging scooter hire and a lagoon tour were no problem. The restaurant had great views, especially of the sunset. Food was terrific and had something different ever night, breakfast was also great. We went in February and found it quiet and very relaxing, we only had rain for one afternoon. We would love to return to this paradise again one day as this was one of our best holidays yet.

Fantastic Location right on the lagoon, amazing stay with the clearest water ever, snorkeling was the best. Bungalows right on the Lagoon had plenty of room & the bathroom products so good. Cannot wait to come back and stay again. The staff are an asset to the resort.

Very friendly staff and the rooms are very clean, spacious and better than I expected. The lagoon is really only swimmable at high tide and that's only for a very limited time so snorkeling in lagoon is not ideal. Marine life is minimal but has a variety of smaller fish, some nice'ish coral and we found spotted eagle rays on multiple occasions. Getting 'water' time is a little limiting and you would need to find this time on day trips or alternate beach locations. The spa treatments are amazing, the restaurant is quite good but more non-seafood options would be preferrable and a bit of variance between lunch and dinner menus would be nice. The resort was very quiet and if you want peace, this is the place to be. It would def be the best resort on the island.

We went with friends for dinner. Very good meal, best grilled tuna we had in aitutaki. Lovely coconut medley desert. Martini was lively. A high quality restaurant, attentive staff, nice buzzy vibe, older crowd. If not staying here you need to book and you can only book 6 or 8pm. We sort of got nudged out at the end but clearly a result of only being able to arrive at 8. Services quite fast but quite a number here. All up good but it does cost so you cannot really afford to go for all meals unless you get a inclusive deal

From the second we landed at the airport the Pacific resort team's service was absolutely incredible. They were very thorough with all of the information and were super friendly to deal with. Our room was stunning and very clean and well looked after. The cocktails and the food were all amazing. We highly recommend the Pacific resort as the place to stay on the island and will definitely be returning. Thank you all for such a lovely time. - Courtney & Logan

If there was ever a paradise on earth then this surely has to be it! This resort is absolutely stunning from its location right on the edge of an aquamarine lagoon to the whole ambiance, professional service & friendliness of every single member of staff. Words cannot express our thanks enough. They knew our individual names within an hour of arriving here and never forgot them! From the minute we stepped off the plane on Aitutaki to be greeted by fresh floral leis,to our beautiful room by the edge of the crystal clear lagoon complete with private balcony. Our room was spotless & complete with our every need: from fridge, a regularly replenished supply of fresh drinking water to iron , ironing board & a speedy hotel laundry service completed within just a few hours! Food & beverage was “ to die for” from a tropical breakfast every morning to stunning dinners. Special mention of my new favourite island dish - Ika Mata- the national dish of the Cook Islands. Also the varied cocktails prepared by Fijian barman Joe whose service & friendliness warrants a special mention. My husband & I enjoyed thee best ever massages: “ Indulgence Massages” at the Tiara Spa with 2 therapists working together to provide a reinvigorating hour . Point of note though- don’t choose this particular massage if you prefer a gentle treatment as quite deep firm massage techniques are used. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff to see to throughout this resort, their only desire being to give 5 star service to their guests, and believe me they did just that! If it wasn’t so far away from our home in Scotland we would return several times per year though it is already on our “ must return” list. Thank you to every single member of staff at the resort who made our stay a luxury experience we will never forget. “Kia Orana” to you all. My only tip: bring mosquito repellent though hotel does supply mosquito coils in every room!

We LOVED our visit to Pacific Aitutaki! We were greeted at the airport by James with beautiful leis. He has been on Aitutaki for many years and was so knowledgeable and friendly. Our room was incredible! Right on the beach. The outside shower bliss! It was so private and peaceful. The sea water colors are indescribable! The water warm and clear. The resort is exquisite. The staff incredibly warm. The poolside bar provided amazing drinks and snacks. Joeli, JosephV, Steve were amazing. Not only served great signature cocktails but played guitar and sang! We especially enjoyed the impromptu happy anniversary song they sang for us! The restaurant breakfasts were so fresh and we enjoyed dinner there every night! Thanks to all who spoiled us! Esi, Kailea(sp) Baldwin, Joseph. Huge thanks to Tu at the front desk arranged a last minute celebrant to bless the renewal of our vows and the flowers were exquisite! The entire stay was magical. We have traveled many many places around the world and hands down, this was the best most memorable and beautiful place so far. We usually try to not repeat destinations but this will be the exception. We are already planning our return 2/25!

We had an extremely pleasant stay at this very relaxed but high end resort with excellent service and food as well as interesting daily activities. Our every wish was accommodated. Very different vibe to Bora Bora for instance but the rooms are spacious and very beautifully decorated with great ocean views and to the reef
