My wife and I were there for 5 days in June 2021, celebrating a Covid affected wedding anniversay. At the airport we were greeted with a garland and taken to a small waiting area to gather everyone who was staying at the Pacific Resort The drive to the resort gave us a chance to see the Island. The check-in was very easy and quick and then we got a little tour of the resort on the way to our room We were taken to the pool and the bar and to our surprise there was a sign with our name on it! They had named a cocktail with our name! What a surprise and personal. The room was very clean and tidy and the ambience was very island-like the double doors opening to a nice deck with a table and chairs and a built-in seat/lounger. The view was amazing! You could see the lagoon as soon as you open the room doors. We had our own hammock under the trees and you could just walk straight into the lagoon. The water had so many different colors of turquoise. It was "heaven" Special mention needs to be made for Robyn at the restaurant who looked after my vegetarian wife. Robyn always greeted us with a beautiful smile and a very happy friendly greeting whenever she saw us. She mentioned that they had a chef from Bhutan and organised really nice vegetarian meals for me throughout. Chef Tin Li's cooking was amazing. The vegetarian Indian meals will be remembered by her forever. Steve at the pool bar was very helpful. Zoe and Kairangi were also very cheerful and helpful. Kairangi actually brought my wife's favourite green mangoes from her very own garden when she inquired about mango availability. We will be back on the next trip to Aitutaki.

We left the pacific resort this morning after a perfect week away in paradise. Nothing but the highest praise for the entire resort. The accomodation is outstanding, staff the most kind and caring people delivering gold standard service. We ate at the restaurant most nights and all of the meals of high quality. One of the nights we sat eating our dinner while watching whales out at sea - priceless. The delicious breakfasts were included with the room price and there was an excellent choice of options. Restaurant and bar prices are similar to what you would pay in a NZ hotel/ restaurant and for $14 a cocktail not over priced. The resort began to empty during our stay due to the latest COVID outbreak in New Zealand. Staff kept us informed all the way. It is incredibly sad to know this beautiful place is going to have no visitors for the foreseeable future once again. Can honestly say our entire trip was faultless. Thankyou to the entire team at the pacific - We will definitely be back. Jane and John

We are returning guests, this was our 6th visit to the resort over the years. So you can say we are BIG fans! We have been both on our own for a romantic gateway and with our children. As always, we were not disappointed. We had an incredible time! We did it all - we relaxed, we ate, we explored, we sailed in the lagoon, we snorkeled but above all we completely rejuvenated and bonded as a family while making lasting fond memories of Aitutaki. We can’t wait for our 7th visit! Huge thanks to the staff who made it so special for us. The resort is in a shipshape after lockdown- time not wasted, everything is immaculate. And it was incredible to see the staff retained in their positions despite the turbulent times. Kudos to the management. We’ll done and thank you!

You know you are part of something special when you and your family are greeted by name as you hop of the plane! Best set up on the island and 5 stars all the way! Amazing service, ask and you will receive! We visited other places on the island for dinner etc and asked to look at rooms for "future visits" and The Pacific wins hands down! If you want to be treated like a "rockstar" this is the resort for you. Yes you pay for it.... but its worth every cent. Enjoy.

We had dinner here twice. Whilst the food was nice, on the last visit we had to return three out of the six dishes we ordered (which isn’t something we often do). Both of our entrees were burnt and my lava cake, had no lava. Having said that, they were very quick to replace and also had some lovely wine offerings (which is very hard to find on the island!). James’s service was fantastic. Regardless of sending meals back, would still return.
