Every time we come to Costa Rica we make sure to spend some time at Tulemar! It is our favorite! Our family of 7 ( kiddos ages 7-15) had an incredible time! We stayed in Casa Del Mar- it was Perfect. Great location, views and lots of animals! We arrived early in the morning. Ashley held our bags and out them in our villa for us while we explored Manuel Antonio Park. She was great! We loved eating on our deck and watching the sunset every night. The outdoor showers are always a hit. We were able to see a TON of monkeys, sloths, iguanas, scarlet macaws- you name it! The Beach here is our favorite! Perfect for families and great waves for boogie boarding. We love Tulemar- Can't wait to come back!
Our recent stay in Villa Cielito was perfect. This was our third time to Tulemar and we have chosen this villa each time. The layout of the villa is perfect for two families and the common areas are large enough to accommodate everyone without being cramped. Also, the common areas are air conditioned which is a huge plus in our book. Our concierge, Ashley, was very attentive to our needs. We will definitely be returning. The pic below is from our front walkway.
With four adults and 8 teenagers, Solangelo was the perfect paradise. Our concierge, Ashley, helped set up transit to/from the airport, surfing lessons, morning yoga at our casa, and a catamaran/snorkle excursion. She also stocked our fridge before arrival and in-home dining with a personal chef was SO MUCH more delightful than taking our crew to a restaurant or trying to cook for the masses ourselves. We enjoyed the sunset from our own vista and enjoyed delicious fresh-catch meals al fresco. This truly was a stress-free, adventure-filled vacation. We can't wait to return again.
We recently stayed at Tulemar for our fifth time. It’s busier than it used to be but still absolutely fantastic. Excellent restaurant and service, a beautiful beach, several gorgeous pools, great restaurants nearby, and extraordinary wildlife. It’s our favourite spot for a family beach vacation and we cannot wait to return!
funnt reading the 1 and 2 star reviews here...then I see they are from years ago and mostly from one group of travelers. I'd be hard pressed to give any category anything but 5 stars. My only regret was that I booked our whole vacation late and could only get lodging at Tulemar for 2 nights....that will not be the case next visit. We stayed in Bungalow #115 which was great. Someone mentioned the view was of building roofs in front of #115. That obviously was someone looking for something wrong...yes there are some roofs in front of you but the spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean in all it's grandeur makes the roofs a second or third thought. On site resturants and barsand pools are all top notch. The sheltered beach with sandy bottom and tame waves is great for families and swimming! I'd be remiss if I didn't mention our concierge Andre. He was simply the best!! Need a guide for MANP..call Andre...need to send out some laundry...call Andre...need a last minute massage for your wife...call Andre...each and everytime, he delivered! Greeted us as a friend and treated us like family up through our departure. We'll definitely make this a stop on our next visit to CR and I'll make sure I reserve enough in advance to stay for a week!…
"#115 was nice but with the constant shuttles running getting around the resort is very easy!"Read full review
