Detailed Reviews
This is the nicest place you can stay in Cahuita and for a very good price. The rooms were so comfortable and clear, with AC, beach and bath towels, an espresso maker, very comfortable beds, shampoo, a hair dryer - everything you could need! The owner and all the staff were SO kind and accommodating, giving us local recommendations etc. They even drove us to a restaurant to pick up a water bottle we lost l! They were amazing. Breakfast was delicious and the pool was very nice. Many good restaurants less than a five min walk away and a five min walk to the National park entrance and Beach. We walked around the entirety of the National park and then were able to get a taxi back to our hotel for just 1000 colones (there is a taxi service right at the park exit run by a friend of the hotel owner’s). We highly recommend this hotel and wish we could stay longer!

This is a lovely small hotel (10 rooms) in the center of Cahuita, within walking distance of beaches, bars, restaurants, and national park. It's not a luxury hotel, but very comfortable, very clean, with upbeat and helpful staff. Breakfasts are generous, tasty, and typical of CR. It is also a family friendly environment. We loved coming back from hiklng to sit at the small table outside our room enjoying wine and cheese we had picked up for ourselves. Fun!

My sister and I stayed here in Oct. 2022. We really enjoyed this spot- the hosts Roberta and her spouse were so helpful and friendly, it was clean and comfortable, walking distance to local beach, national park, and restaurants. Breakfast was tasty with amazing fresh fruit. They also assisted with local tours which was helpful. Room had a toilet + bidet and a balcony.

Lovely hotel with great hosts - Roberta and her team are v helpful and friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are having a good time . location is perfect - centre of town and its very secure . Rooms are big ( i had 2 double beds ) and clean and rooms cleaned daily . Breakfast is excellent - varied and plentiful … fresh fruit , warm rolls and pastries and eggs , bacon . Coffee , tea , water available FOC all day. I was travelling solo and was perfect for me. My airport transfer was 6.30 am and was really appreciative that Roberta made me a packed lunch for the trip and waved me off. A real gem . Would definitely recommend and stay here again

My family and I stayed here for one night as we were passing through the area. It was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants and the National Park entrance. Very secure and safe on-site parking. Lovely Italian owner who speaks great English. The breakfast was delicious. The pool was a nice bonus, but could use a little face lift. Rooms were clean and sufficient for what we needed. Great overall experience!

+1
We have travelling through Costa Rica and this hotel for sure was our favourite. We were treated like family.
The hotel is close to everything you need in the beautiful Cahuita national park. We saw more wildlife here than probably the rest combined!
Pool was great in the afternoon once returning from walking and the breakfast was lovely too.
They even insisted on making us a takeaway breakfast as our transport was leaving early.
We loved the walkways to the rooms and having a little seating area was great for a beer while my daughter went off to sleep.

The owner, Roberta, has a well run prooerty. She is like the “energizer bunny”, fast to provide service. She goes out of her way to help and advise. I would not hesitate to go back when I visit Cahuita.

Stayed there for three nights, room and service were fine but the hotel is located about fifty meters from a bar that is quite loud at night, at least on weekends.

After reading the great reviews here, I booked this hotel for our beach stay in Costa Rica. The rooms, especially bathrooms, are great, and they have AC (rare in CR). The owners are also really nice.
The problem is that because it's smack in the middle of the small town of Cahuita, it's noisy. There was reggae and club music blasting until 2 in the morning at two bars nearby, plus the acoustics make all the noise in the little library/lobby area (where people do hang out sometimes) come right into your room.
Worse, though, was two dogs that bark and howl most of the day and early early in the morning. They appear to be owned by the hotel. I can't blame the dogs, since they were tied up to trees in this junky lot next door and never in the three days we were there got off their chains. Of course they're barking and howling, especially since it rained most of the time, and one of them had no protection from the downpours except for the tree it was tied to. So not only was the noise bad, but it was heartbreaking to see them treated that way.
Otherwise it would have been a nice place. Oh, and just know that it's not beachfront. It's a very short walk to the beach and everything else in down, but it's right in town and not on the ocean.

It's a very nice place, with big clean rooms. The owners are very nice as well but the most popular night bar in town, the coco's, is just few meters away from here so, if you are looking for peace and tranquility, bring some ear plugs...

Hi,yes we can arrange the transportation from the airport to the
hotel.
Best Regards
Roberta and iVANO
Hi, you can take a taxi, that cost 50-60 dollars. Or there is a pubblic bus to Cahuita, the bus station is not so far. That is cheap.
Thank you
Ivano
From what I saw most rooms had 2 queen sized beds and there is room for a roll away if they have one. If you go to the park and decided to get a guide I HIGHLY recommend that you ask or look specifically for either Carlos or Tito. I promise that you will see more wildlife with a guide. We saw nothing on our own and went back with Carlos and saw a plethora of different animals that we completely missed. Enjoy!
How far is it from the nearest beach? We love a pool but are really coming for the beach!
Thank you.
We are located only 200 meters from the beach.
Hi,thanks to contact us.
We live in the hotel,so.... no problem is you arrive late!We will be happy to have you here!
