We stayed at the Westin, we love the facility. Sunset is great, swimming pool amazing and loved the food. I felt safe and highly recommend it. I met Erick G and he hooked us up with River tour and Sloth aventure. Both tours were great!
We came to Costa Rica for adventure, relaxation, and for fun; and the Westin delivered all of that and more! The Westin upgraded us to a nice suite for being a bonvoy-member, which was much appreciated. We loved all of the dining options that the hotel provides, as well as the bars located within the resort. Every staff member that we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful, EXCELLENT service indeed. We also enjoyed a long morning at the spa which was also a fantastic experience. We enjoyed facials, massages, reflexology, pedicures, and scrubs—all wonderful. I highly recommend you visit this resort because you will not be disappointed. We throughly enjoyed our vacation Costa Rica. We met Erik Garcia on the Bach outside of our Westin Resort on the first day of our trip (Erik wears a blue hat, that has his name on it). Erik was extremely friendly and helped us plan all of our excursions. He had many excursions to choose from; catamarans, waterfalls, hiking, rainforests, cultural, and rum tastings. Erik hooked us with our tour guide for the week, Bryan, who made us feel extremely safe and well taken care of. All of the excursions we ventured on were AMAZING, but the Cultural/Rum Tour stands out as one of our favorites. The property that the tour takes place is fitted with beautiful gardens, kind people, and delicious food. I HIGHLY recommend choosing this tour if you have the opportunity! We will be back in a few months for more adventurous, Pura Vida!…
My wife and I, and another couple booked a weeks stay at the Westin Reserva Playa Conchal at the end of February. The staff at the resort are warm and welcoming. The resort is beautifully maintained and the services were wonderful. We ate at most of the restaurants and the food was delicious. Everything was delightful. The hotel has a variety of activities- both free and paid services. Their are plenty of outdoor activities to partake in. We wanted to see more of Costa Rica than just our resort. We decided to book some adventures and were fortunate enough to meet Erik Garcia. Erik is then an in a blue shirt who sets up “shop” on the beach. He can tailor any adventures/experiences to meet your needs. We booked a package of events including a waterfall visit, zip lining, horseback riding, a natural hot spring and white water tubing. Time and money well spent. Our guide was Senor Olman Sosa. What a gem. Punctual, polite and attentive. I strongly recommend both the Westin Reserva and Erik Garcia to anyone who likes to travel and loves adventure.…
I had high expectations for this resort. I have been here since it belonged to the Paradisus chain around 2006 bout nothing special for the price that I pay this time. Pretty expensive. Generally I wouldn't book something this expensive don't get me wrong, it is a nice place but not sure it's really worth the full price. The food was ok The resort is on a public beach that is crowded with locals and has no hotel services there, service overall was lacking. The drinks at the pool are cheap, served in cheap plastic glasses and made with no imagination, drink service was slow, ordering from the pool menu are like ordering from a kids menu, he offer are chicken tenders, burgers and pizza. The mini bar was annoying. They give you 2 very small waters, 2 cokes, and a few nips. If you want more of anything you need to call and then wait up to an hour in your room for them to deliver (they will not deliver if you are not there). This was frustrating for water and I was constantly working to get more bottled water. No coffee maker in the room and the ice machine does not work. All service are affected by the pandemic except the price by night.…
My friends and I did a girls trip for a week at the Westin. We wanted relaxation, adventure, and fun and we got it all. The hotel is nestled right on the beach and has beautiful trees and landscape all around the hotel. The food was delicious on the resort. We weren’t disappointed with the food once. We spent a lot of time at the pool bar and were taken care of so amazingly by Felipe, Juan and Brayan. They were so nice and mixed up the best drinks. All of the bar/restaurant staff took covid precautions and made us feel very safe. At the restaurants, JJ took really good care of us and even remembered our friends food allergies after we had only seen him once. It’s the little things that the staff members did that made our stay very special and comfortable. We booked an excursion to the waterfalls and to see sloths through Erik G. On the beach. It turned out to be an awesome excursion and I highly recommend him to book a budget friendly, Costa Rican experience! He has many options for all sorts of excursions. The rooms are really nice. As a Bonvoy member, the hotel upgraded our room to a newly renovated room. There is also quite a bit of wildlife on the resort. We saw Kwotis, iguanas and howler monkeys. I highly recommend the Westin for a fun, relaxing all-inclusive experience!…
