Lovely flight to the resort on the heli with a warming welcome song. We stayed for a week. Villa was perfect with a wonderful view, infinity pool, beautiful gardens, and free laundry. Excellent food with way too big of portions. Very accommodating to this picky eater. Loved sitting outside for every meal. It did get very hot if u were not sitting where the breeze was Servers remembered names and favorite cocktails. If it’s your birthday expect a wonderful chocolate cake If you stay a week they do a Japanese hibachi for 4 couples. I would have elected out of this. The space is EXTREMELY hot with no air flow and there was no option to eat with a fork( I don’t do chopsticks well) and if u don’t drink wine no other option was given for that. (Liquor) The food wasn’t that good
We did lots of the resorts boat trips. All were nicely planned and the guides were knowledgeable. Just not enough time in the water to snorkel. We also did a private boat charter which was the highlight to our trip. Sam and his little brother did an excellent job and let us snorkel our hearts out. Choose to snorkel outside of the house reef, it’s much clearer and with different fish. Saw a Rabbit fish for the first time and swam in a large school of squid
The area is one of the prettiest in all of Fiji Loved that the beaches were kept clean of seagrass. Which is then taken out to feed the turtles Sometimes the Bula was overwhelming. Constantly saying it to every worker that passed and there were a lot
All and all it was a wonderful place to stay

Tokoriki Island Resort is simply stunning and very unique, adults only paradise.
We stayed there with my husband for six nights in November last year. We had a Beachfront Bure number 11 which was absolutely amazing. The location, the views, the beach, the private deck, lounges, hammock, it all made for a great holiday. The Bure itself was very spacious, spotless and the furnishings authentic with a modern luxury flare. We really enjoyed the private outdoor shower.
The resort grounds are immaculate, with beautiful gardens and walkways. Private spots with outdoor gym, for game of chess, yoga, all set among beautiful greenery. The infinity pool, outside the main area, literally takes your breath away.
Getting to the island on a ferry, seeing the corals and the crystal clear waters, the palm trees, white sand and the resort staff waiting and singing for us on the jetty, it was all very special!
From the Bula welcome with their own beautiful Tokoriki Lei, fresh fruit juice prepared for us, being greeted and having everything about the island and the resort explained by their receptionist, we were in our Bure in no time, everything was so seamless.
The staff there is amazing, so friendly, caring and helpful. We felt like a part of the family. Nothing was ever a problem, they all made us feel so welcomed, truly special. Thank you Penioni, Vincent, Noa and Niumaia for the amazing things you organise every single day for all your guests. Joe and Mita, we’re still dreaming about your cocktails. Paulo, Vili, Tomasi, Josua and Teba, thank you for the songs and the entertainment. Kris and Vika, you made all our meal times so enjoyable, thank you. Vinaka vakalevu to all the staff!
Tokoriki you were fantastic, the singing, the nightly entertainment, scented towels and cocktails by the pool, iced water, afternoon pastries and coffee, all of those extra touches and all those extra steps your staff made for us, that really made for an unforgettable experience.
We can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back again.

Vinaka vakalevu

We took 6 Bure’s for our family Christmas get together, as usual we had a beautiful welcome by the staff when we arrived. Such a wonderful place to stay with all the same staff still there smiling and happy, during our 10 day stay we had a category 2 cyclone pass by with 110klm winds, the resort didn’t take any chances and battened down as a precaution, as soon as the weather got better the staff flew into action and had the resort cleaned up and running as normal in no time. The Chef served up a great selection of food every day and it was never a problem if any of us ask for something different, We had a wonderful time and highly recommend a stay in paradise, thanks to Robert, Patrice and all the beautiful staff for making our stay on Tokoriki so great

Tokoriki is a 5 star resort as far as the infrastructure goes. Beautifully maintained with gorgeous rooms, amenities and stunning landscaping. The kitchen produced wonderful food with well thought out and enticing presentations. I would order Kokoda each night if I could and loved the Tokoriki sandy ice cream. Our lunch waiter Tusi was w/o a doubt a part of the true heart of Tokoriki and he took special care of each guest with humor and a smile. Vincent the day manager was clearly very detailed oriented and seemed to care deeply about what each guest has to say and the other resort managers had equal levels of hospitality. Pool side services, while sporadic at best, we’re welcome additions to the day, from cocktail tastes, frozen towels to having your sun glasses cleaned. Every inch of the property was scrubbed, trimmed and arranged for the guests enjoyment...but, the reason I took off one star is that w/ the exception of Tusi and a couple of others, the service was 3 star at best. I soon learned it was unlikely that table service existed at all during cocktail hour. I would go to the bar to order our drinks and if they ask to bring them to you, pass or else it will be a long time before they arrive. Breakfast service was the same, coffee orders that never arrived or took 10 to 15 minutes. Very slow kitchen times and it was invariable we would be moving plates around the table to their rightful owners. Another slight bump in the road is the only resort offered snorkeling is the house reef, which was nice but really a wall. We paid for a couple of trips and the coral garden was spectacular but that and the turtles was pretty much it. My nitpicking may sound like a narrow mind but you can’t be a 5-star resort with super slow service, missed orders and sometimes zero cocktail service and “Fiji time” isn’t acceptable for 5 stars. On the upside, it is beautiful, super-relaxing and Tusi and Vincent did a great job.

This resort was full of genuine pampering. The facility is very nice, the staff however, are excellent. They treat everyone with tenderness, care and love and it is hard not feel. In fact, there is no wifi in the rooms and certain dinner venues have wifi capabilities turned off to allow guests to escape cell phones, and enhance intimacy of the experience.

We finally returned to Fiji following 2 years of COVD lockup in Melbourne. Back for the 21st time to Tokoriki Island resort - our piece of Paradise.

We obviously love this place and it has evolved over the years to become a prefered destination for many people and rated at the top of the list for luxury reports in Fiji.

But what we didn't expect was the extraodinary uplift across the entire resort whivh just blew us away. The resort gardens were lush and green and in beautifiul condition - just breathtaking. The Tokoriki team from the management down have always been unbelivably helpful and friendly but there seemed to be a new energy and spirit that prevayed everyone and that transferred to the guests reuslting in an atmosphere that was so enjoyable. Tokoriki has a soul that other resorts just cannot match.

But the big change was the food. Chef Ash and his team with support of Greg presented a menu that was interesting, unique and of the very highest quality. The menu changed daily and the dishes were superb in both taste and presentation.

I started diving at Tokoriki many years ago and love it. I have dived at many other places but the professionalism and friendliness of Will and his team is outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble and the numerous diving sites close the island are intersting and offer planty of variety. I can't praise these guys enough, it is diving at its best.

Our accomodation was a beach front Pool Bure that was situiated close to the beach so easy to stroll 20 metres ot so to the water's edge. We had a deck overlooking the water between the palm trees and a plunge poll to cool off from a lie in the sun. The bure is well apppointed and very comfortable consisting of a combined bed and sitting room, a dressing room, bathroom, shower room and outside shower. All most adequate. There are also more sumptuous villas with day beds a seperate lounge rooms where have stayed as well.

We have stayed at a number of luxury island island resorts in Fiji, in plenty are very nice places to stay. But nothing compares with Tokoriki in terms of the total package and, in particular, the culture and soul of the place that is simply unique.

Tokoriki is the epitomy of your dream Pacific island paradise stay. We ca't wait to go again.

My husband and I have just enjoyed an amazing 10 days at Tokoriki & it’s just beautiful! The staff have absolutely made this experience, they are the most wonderful and caring people in the world! Each & every one of them has been a delight to meet & get to know us over our 10 day stay. All the staff from the front desk, restaurant, and even gardeners greeted us by our names from day 1. Seeing their smiling faces every day was enough to relax and make us feel we were with family.

Room tip - We stayed in a Villa, with our own pool and day bed which is worth spending the extra money on. Villa 4,5 &6 are the pick.

The quality of food was good and menu changed daily.

One of the highlights each day was happy hour watching the sunset whilst listening to Mosses, Joshua and the band boys.

The bar and and the nightly activities, should you wish to participate (entirely up to you) are a great way to make new friends.

The spa offers a package deal for 3 days of unlimited massages - we did one every second day - well worth it.

Probably the best holiday we’ve ever been on. This island resort is perfect for couples who want to escape to a relaxing location, without the distraction of families. The facilities are brilliant and we received an upgrade to a beachfront room with our own private pool. The food is of the highest quality, with a constantly changing menu and fresh ingredients meaning delicious meals every day. We recommend doing the teppanyaki which is also fun, and a beachfront dinner for a private dining experience. We also enjoyed the snorkeling and diving, on the amazing reefs that surround the island. But what makes this place so special is the people. The service provided and the warmth of the staff is unlike that of anywhere else in the world. The Fijian hospitality is unparalleled and the effort they went to to ensure we felt comfortable and relaxed was incredible. Special shoutout to Vili and Tom for the kava nights. Thank you to the Tokoriki team, we will certainly be returning!

We visited Tokoriki in August 2019 for our honeymoon. It was absolutely incredible and we felt so well taken care of. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, the grounds are impeccably maintained, and the food is incredibly delicious. I am a picky eater and was so happy about the variety of options, especially healthy options. Staying in a smaller adults only resort is so relaxing and all of the other guests were so friendly. Our room was great and yes there are bugs, but the staff instructs you on how to use bug spray and it’s really not an issue, we only saw a couple! Well worth it to stay here. We spent part of our honeymoon on Nadi at a large resort and wish we would have stayed at tokoriki the whole time. Can’t wait to come back for our anniversary some day!

Where to begin? From the moment we stepped onto the island, we were showered with kindness, warmth, and the most genuine hospitality ever experienced.

The island is overcome with natural beauty and is surrounded by the most crystal clear waters. The grounds were absolutely pristine with stunning landscaping and flowers lining the walkways. The beaches are pristine and the feeling you get looking out into the ocean is unmatched. Our Beachfront Pool Bure was perfect with no detail left unturned. We travel a lot and every now and then come across hotels where they add 1-2 "extra touches," but our stay at Tokoriki felt like all of those touches we've come across over the years were combined to create the most perfect stay.

There are too many details to name, but a few that stood out:
1. No WiFi in the common area during meal times. What a perfect way to completed unplug from the world and enjoy the company of your loved ones.
2. Small details like beach mats outside the bure, foot bath in the deck area when coming back into the bure, fresh flowers left in the room every day, turn down service with slippers and floor mat on each side of bed. Just some small touches that made our stay so carefree.
3. Everyone remembered our names. I don't know how they do it, but within the first few hours of our stay, everyone we encountered knew our names and would greet us all over the property.
4. The smoothest cappuccinos in the morning with the best tasting cookie ever. Forgot to ask if it was homemade or if its a local brand!?
5. The food. We never got tired of the menu as it was constantly changing with new, inventive choices. The food was fresh and flavorful and definitely did not disappoint. I think I had the Tokoriki Sandy Ice Cream every chance I got.

A special thanks to:

Vincent for going above and beyond to help extend our stay when we decided to cancel the final portion of our trip and stay longer at Tokoriki. We never wanted to leave, but hope to be back again someday!

Alice for her kindness during our beachfront anniversary dinner and for asking us if we were missing any type of food from home, then seeing it 'magically' appear on the lunch menu the next day! Thank you, Chef Ashim for making us feel at home and taking suggestions for the menu!

Peroni for making us feel at home the entire time from beginning to end and for educating us on the history of Fiji and the beautiful Mamanuca Islands

Kris and Mama for always bringing a smile to our face during meals and for their attentive service. You both have such contagious smiles!

Moses and the band boys for their lovely music and vocals

Simi and Manu
