The washrooms are also very spacious and well stocked with toiletries that are normally required.
Loved the names of the restaurants - Bhumi and Agnee. Bhumi serves bengali cuisine. Loved their awesome spread. Had lunch at Bhumi. For dinner we went to Agnee as it is in the same premises as our room's and with several senior citizens it was the most convenient. Agnee has a huge spread of multi cuisine items. It also has a well stocked bar. The breakfast buffet is complimentary with the rooms and they offer a wide selection.
The curio shop at the resort offers a wide range of products which are reasonably priced. They also have a cake shop. Overall a great place to celebrate special occasions too.
Our luggage and everything was sanitized at the time of check in
We received a complimentary tea and breakfast as we checked in early at 10am
The ambiance was enhancing the beauty of nature as well as the room service
Room service dept was very co operative.
The kitchen provides a lovely Indian and chinees cuisine that will fulfill your taste buds and hunger both.
Bappa Ganguly served us very well and we are overwhelmed with the service provided by him and his team.
On the last night of our stay they also provided us with a complimentary desert which was icing on the cake. 🥰
All in all we had a nice stay at the hotel And looking forward to visit again 😅
The swimming pool, restaurants and the chai/pastry shop add a neat touch to the place.. throw in views to a gorgeous sunset or a dinner table by the pool on a full moon night and you'll probably picture a perfect romantic setting..
I stayed in the lake view cottage and the room was huge, plush and gorgeous, loved the complimentary basket of fruits and a jar of delicious chocolates left in the living room when we checked in.
Food in the restaurant is quite good and my overall experience was great and so was the hospitality!
They also have an amazing spa and you can avail a spa during your stay and find out about activities to do in the property like renting a bicycle etc.
The food prices are slightly on the higher side, however it provides room service till 11 pm which is decent enough. There are few items which are available in these rooms 24 hrs. I had booked directly from Vedic Village website. The prices were almost same as shown in other travel websites/apps . You are entitled to unlimited mineral water in the room.
Alternatively you may book Lake View Rooms which are equivalent. The only notable difference is that Lake View Rooms have double sized bathrooms than in One-Bedroom suite.
Overall it was great.
Cheers.
The only best thing that did not disappoint was the Ayurvedic Spa. We are not going to stay at this resort again and only pay a day trip to the Spa if need be.
The rooms were brilliant, with an amazing view, outdoor shower and tub and living rooms twice the size of the room.
We met Rahman, on day 1 who greeted us with much warmth and extended a very hospitable welcome for use. Over the next 2 days he along with Soumen, and the rest of the Vedic Team made us feel very welcome, accommodating every request we made. They even arranged for dishes that were not on the menu to be served in Bhoomi, their Bengali restaurant. Kudos to chef sudha and the server Surajit on coordinating the most tailored food service and the brilliant food. The indian and chinese food were great too! Special mention to the Daab chingri, bhapa elish, Kosha mangsho and bhetki paturi!
Very highly suggested and much needed for city dwellers!
**All possible precautionary measures for Covid-19 were being followed.
The staff behaviour was however very arrogant and rude. On asking if the villa and the pool had been sanitized, instead of providing an answer, the villa caretaker cross-questioned if we are carrying Covid negative certificates.
