Nestled in a location acclaimed for its breathtaking views and convenient proximity to urban amenities, the Vedic Village Spa Resort is hailed as a serene sanctuary by many travelers. While the resort's atmosphere and comprehensive amenities receive widespread appreciation for fostering tranquility and offering a variety of activities, some guests find the food and services to be overpriced. Although the rooms are celebrated for their comfort and overall cleanliness, there are occasional mentions of maintenance issues. The staff's friendliness is acknowledged, yet the service can sometimes lack promptness, suggesting room for improvement in consistency.

Had a family get together at the Vedic Village, Rajarhat. We had a great experience there. We had booked three rooms, one of which was a suite. The suite had a separate living area with sofas. Right from their rooms to service by their staff we were very happy. The staff are very attentive and eager to help. The rooms are sufficiently spacious and well stocked with electric kettle, tea/coffee , sugar and whitner pouches. The rooms had mosquito repellent machine too. The best part about the rooms were that they had a balcony attached where senior citizens can sit and relax if they are not interested in going around the village. But if possible one should go around this property as it's very picturesque.
The washrooms are also very spacious and well stocked with toiletries that are normally required.

Loved the names of the restaurants - Bhumi and Agnee. Bhumi serves bengali cuisine. Loved their awesome spread. Had lunch at Bhumi. For dinner we went to Agnee as it is in the same premises as our room's and with several senior citizens it was the most convenient. Agnee has a huge spread of multi cuisine items. It also has a well stocked bar. The breakfast buffet is complimentary with the rooms and they offer a wide selection.

The curio shop at the resort offers a wide range of products which are reasonably priced. They also have a cake shop. Overall a great place to celebrate special occasions too.

We booked a suite room it was well cleaned and sanitized as we visited in lockdown 28/05/20
Our luggage and everything was sanitized at the time of check in
We received a complimentary tea and breakfast as we checked in early at 10am
The ambiance was enhancing the beauty of nature as well as the room service
Room service dept was very co operative.
The kitchen provides a lovely Indian and chinees cuisine that will fulfill your taste buds and hunger both.
Bappa Ganguly served us very well and we are overwhelmed with the service provided by him and his team.
On the last night of our stay they also provided us with a complimentary desert which was icing on the cake. 🥰
All in all we had a nice stay at the hotel And looking forward to visit again 😅

Beautiful stay. Upon reaching we were greated very nicely and the person who showed us to our rooms gave us a short tour of the resort. The rooms were magnificent and all the amenities we could need for our stay was there starting from toiletries to tea and coffee and to make it even better all amenities were complimentary and unlimited. Even mineral water bottles. The swimming pool, the steam sauna, the indoor and outdoor games everything was well maintained to give the visitors total enjoyment. And the food was although a bit overpriced it was worth every penny. The staffs were very polite and cordial which is a big plus point according to me. Overall a wonderful stay.

We stayed at aqua bungalow . It was comfortable and beautiful . We had lot of fun .My daughter's marriage function was held here and everything was good. The staff service was good and proper hygiene was maintained. During lockdown all the rules were followed as per given guidelines by the government. The decoration was very good but not upto the mark. The fooding was really good. It has a lot of varieties and the chef was also cooperative towards our need. Soumen Halder the manager and his assistants Shawnaz and Anupam were availabe 24*7 for us for our conveinence. The car service was good but it took around 25 minutes to reach us as they sanitized it before every trip to the venue.

The property is quite beautiful set amidst lush greens and artificial lakes and a lotus pond with a fountain in between !
The swimming pool, restaurants and the chai/pastry shop add a neat touch to the place.. throw in views to a gorgeous sunset or a dinner table by the pool on a full moon night and you'll probably picture a perfect romantic setting..
I stayed in the lake view cottage and the room was huge, plush and gorgeous, loved the complimentary basket of fruits and a jar of delicious chocolates left in the living room when we checked in.
Food in the restaurant is quite good and my overall experience was great and so was the hospitality!
They also have an amazing spa and you can avail a spa during your stay and find out about activities to do in the property like renting a bicycle etc.

We had gone on a weekend and booked One-Bedroom Suites. This category of room is huge and is just next to the Pool & restaurant. There is one sofa cum bed in the hall where one adult can easily sleep. The room and washrooms are maintained. I had requested bathroom slippers, which the house keeping provided free of cost.

The food prices are slightly on the higher side, however it provides room service till 11 pm which is decent enough. There are few items which are available in these rooms 24 hrs. I had booked directly from Vedic Village website. The prices were almost same as shown in other travel websites/apps . You are entitled to unlimited mineral water in the room.

Alternatively you may book Lake View Rooms which are equivalent. The only notable difference is that Lake View Rooms have double sized bathrooms than in One-Bedroom suite.

Overall it was great.

I am a regular guest of this property, visiting atleast once a year for a quick weekend trip. The property is lush and large with an excellent spa but service and amenities have reached an all time low. Dirty linen and smelly bed spreads are not what you expect in a resort at this price. After the fire breakout last year (close to 12 months), they have not repaired the resort's prime areas such as reception, which is now a tiny room flocked with guests waiting for their turn to receive the room. The breakfast area was a bigger mess with food not being replenished (the bacon did not get replenished in an entire hour!!!), Tiny spaces crammed with people. You have to ask for something so simple as tissue papers since none of the breakfast tables had it.
The only best thing that did not disappoint was the Ayurvedic Spa. We are not going to stay at this resort again and only pay a day trip to the Spa if need be.

We arrived on a Thursday for an extended weekend in a group of 6 friends, with 3 Lake view rooms that were part of the lockdown package.
The rooms were brilliant, with an amazing view, outdoor shower and tub and living rooms twice the size of the room.
We met Rahman, on day 1 who greeted us with much warmth and extended a very hospitable welcome for use. Over the next 2 days he along with Soumen, and the rest of the Vedic Team made us feel very welcome, accommodating every request we made. They even arranged for dishes that were not on the menu to be served in Bhoomi, their Bengali restaurant. Kudos to chef sudha and the server Surajit on coordinating the most tailored food service and the brilliant food. The indian and chinese food were great too! Special mention to the Daab chingri, bhapa elish, Kosha mangsho and bhetki paturi!

Very highly suggested and much needed for city dwellers!

**All possible precautionary measures for Covid-19 were being followed.

Located at around 30kms from South Kolkata, this is one of the best places one can go to for a weekend trip. We went as a group of 6 and rented an aqua villa. The aqua villa was very well maintained and spacious. Also, the villa was clean and had all basic amenities like a fridge, microwave oven, if you want to make your own food. Also, you can order food from the resort itself but the cost is unreasonable.

The staff behaviour was however very arrogant and rude. On asking if the villa and the pool had been sanitized, instead of providing an answer, the villa caretaker cross-questioned if we are carrying Covid negative certificates.
