We were on our first trip to Kolkata and opted this hotel after reading decent reviews on trip advisor, though I was a bit sceptical until I checked in.
We reached hotel at 2 pm and requested 2 rooms at the same floor (we had booked executive rooms). However, 2 executive rooms on the same floor weren't available. It was our genuine need as we had our mother with us who has difficulty in walking.
Considering our genuine constraints, Ms. Jagrati at reception upgraded one of our room to Premium one to allocate rooms on same floor. She is such a generous professional with fantastic customer focus. Senses is lucky to have her.
Hotel is located at the prominent location of Sector V (Salt Lake) and easy to locate (OLA/Uber stops at door step). Rooms are one of the best we've stayed and unlimited complementry water bottles everyday. Staff is humble and willing to address needs. Housekeeping is quick. There is enough security and we didn't notice any element to worry about.
It would always be my first choice for future visits. Thank You Jagriti.

A big thank you to Christopher and Hotel Senses for making my engagement such a memorable event. The rooftop restaurant was the ideal place to host such event during this pandemic as not only they strictly maintained all sanitization protocol but also being an open air venue we felt very safe. The food was amazing and to top it up with the decorations and the ambience of a rooftop venue with pool overlooking Sector 5 skyline made the whole experience simply amazing. Christopher deserves a special applaud for his constant support and coordination, he made the arrangement so easy and hassle free. From arranging special surprises to constantly being there during the event to coordinate everything to the perfection made my engagement a truly memorable one. All the staff of the hotel are also very polite and efficient. Highly recommend place to hold any events safely specially in this Covid pandemic and on top of that it comes with an amazing ambience. Would love to visit again.

The biggest perks of this hotel is its location in Salt Lake. It is in proximity to the main areas in Salt Lake, the staff was actually very courteous in comparison to the other hotels that I have stayed in. The rooms are good, the service is prompt despite having so many floors. The restaurant and the food was good too.
Overall, a pleasant stay since I was on a business trip. Would visit again.

The hotel is located in small lane. They didn’t have room available for checkin so they offered a temporary room to freshen up...a room which was just vacated by guests. Now from a 4 star hotel one will expect atleast to offer the washroom clean and hygenic (since they have been paid for it). But guess what...they gave me the room with dirtiest washroom. I had to ask them again and again to send someone to clean. They are offering me the prekept towels & other complementary items (which looked used) to use. Heights of disappointment. Please don’t come...it is a creepy hotel. Pics represent the unhygienic condition in which room was given!

Good hotel but bad service experience. poolside bar is amazing with nice experience of watching IPL with a frequent service of delecious food and also reception night boy is very poliete and helpful. ases and kumaar. Room cleanning service and ac is not up to the mark....but its ok. really very bad and poor experience they charging rs25 for each plates and cutlery which is disposable it is a very pathetic experience at mid night . this not a 4star hotel service. i dont know otheer hotel of Kolkata providing this service or not. but really very poor and cheap service. i never heard any hotel charges for plates or disposable plates. i dont recomended to anyone for stay in the hotel but can visit roof top bar for time pass.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, Guests wished to use disposable plates. The same was provided at additional cost as we do not promote use of any kind of disposable dinnerware. Disposable plates were only being provided to Guests who ordered food from outside the Hotel. I am sure you when you go out shopping you are being charged additional for bags. Also due to the Covid Protocol most restaurants too are serving food in disposable dinnerware which is being charged to the Guest. Hence, its a management policy that we as a Hotel are following. However we will surely look into the inconvenience you had and have it rectified. We hope to See you again at the Hotel so that we can make your next experience a good one.

I have stayed in Senses Individually and with Family several Times for the past 4 years when ever i have visited Kolkata. But the most disappointing part is that the hotel does not keep a history of its guests. So, whenever I visited the hotel and made a reservation, I had to always refer back to my previous corresponding with them which seemed pretty problematic at times. Secondly, The property has become very old and maintenance is not being done as per its standards. If a problem is reported no action is taken. Last March I had stayed for 18 days with my wife as she had her eye operation. I had requested the hotel manager for a discount on the room rate as we stayed unexpectedly for so many day due to the holi holidays but to my disappointment i got no consideration. I feel the management should be more flexible to its guests .
Staff Friendliness is very good specially the restaurant staffs.
Roof Top Bar is Excellent above all. I've enjoyed every bit of it.
Location: it is close to City Center Shopping mall 1 and 2 but far from the city. Also close to the airport.
I feel the hotel management need to revise their approach towards their customers more.

We wish you that you had given us your Review last year during or after your Stay rather than wait a year as we would have been able to take note of your Feedback and rectify the same on our end. We duly note your disappointment regarding the lack of discount that was offered to you at the time for your Stay. We would like to clarify a few points on that. First is that yours was a Corporate booking made via Skillstech Initiatives who had a Contracted Rate with us which was confirmed to you. Hence any reduction wasn't in our hands. Secondly our Manager Operations met with you and explained the same to you during your Stay and offered you Discount on Food & Beverage instead which wasn't acceptable. We have since then done a number of improvements and renovation works, which we know you will appreciate the next time you stay with us. We thank you again for staying with us and hope to see you soon.

One of the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in... Washroom was stinking, no toilet papers, no dental kit, only one towel, for everything you have to put up a request to House keeping team & they will keep on forgetting things...Then in the morning someone will keep ringing the bell till the time you are not going to open the door & that's the hotel's rule if you ask them anything about it. Very hostile in nature & rude too... I spoke to Mr. Bansal at front office at the time of check out he assured me somebody senior will call me from his Hotel... Till now no body called. Its been 11 days neither Goibibo team is supporting on this nor Senses Hotel...Goibibo is worst platform for any sort of support.

A fantastic puja evening 2020 at Liqua. Its a beautiful evening spend in rooftop with friends after pandel hopping. With nice arrangemant for watching ipl near pool side with a beautiful mocktail. A very beautiful view of sunset from the top of the building in Saltlake. Everything is well decorated for puja but the hotel is not hygenic .... becoz very dirty. unhygenic & unclened washroom. Staffs were not wearing mask properly both frontdesk and bar staff. Frontdesk lady is looking so canfusing & helpless and don't even undarstand english when i ask her for room details. This is not acceptable!!!!!..

I stayed here for 15 days and not a single day I regretted my decision. It was so nice staying here in the hotel with all the amenities provided. The staff were courteous. The room were nice clean and well serviced. The house keeping here is doing an immense excellent job. The breakfast is also very nice plus the type of service they provide here is too good. Whenever i used to call for room service or anything, the response was there in the next 2 minutes.

I'm wondering what you mean by that?
If the room is booked in double occupancy then two can stay ;if single then not. But I guess you can have guests dropping in to meet you .
