Without doubt one of the favorite hotels. I had a banquet query regarding the booking to be made in April and I was warmly welcomed by sales manager Ms.Sushmita Mohonto. She was polite and had a go getter attitude,she left no stone unturned in convincing me with the best possible rates considering the wedding season. I almost visited 3 hotels before park but I felt I was more comfortable with the rates and the menu they offered. Park and management defintely knows how to retain customers. Even in lockdown they are serving food in kolkata through their sanitized kitchen environment with WHO requirements.

I had ordered many time from the park in every single occasions because they served the fresh and hygienic food during these lockdown.. They had curated and blissful menu .. I ordered in poila boishakh . The quantity and quality of the food was at top notch .. and the most important packaging is very well done.. On a business trip I loved the experience at this hotel and thus am giving 5-Star. Great location with shops and walking lanes around, I really liked the range of entertainments available here with cafe, bar, lounge, disco, restaurants, health clubs among others.
Check-in was smooth though took considerable time (Covid protocal), room had a damp smell. Toiletries were a plenty as compared to similar hotels, specially the packs were bigger. room looks cozy and blue lit mirror in the washroom is very contemporary. furniture's are well suited to the room. Specially the sleep quality was very good.
Quite some food items were tasty as we had lunch, refreshment and dinner at the hotel along with the moderate breakfast spread which was included in the room rent. Service at dinner was slow which got better in the next day lunch as we complained for the same. For my vegetarian colleague the mendu vada and puri served smelled fish, so could not have it. the staff did replace the dish but my colleague was really scared to try the fresh dish. Misti Doi was just amazing, may be the best we had. Also Kasundi fish was really good. Veg biryani and Tomato Soup were also very tasty. Also Masala Chai was great.
Staffs are relatively young and are willing to help - may need more training. Overall cleanliness is satisfactory. Guests spit gutka in sink and urinals which leave stains.
As guest we went to "Roxy" the lounge bar which had decent loud music playing though the crowd is young and brawly at times.
Entertainment options are a plenty and this is a place I would like to come and stay again.
Places like Kalighat Temple, Birla Planetarium, St. Paul's Cathedral, are nearby including Princep Ghat. Also This place has the Tram line which is still running.
Definitely recommend for short stays.

The Park,kolkata.I would say that the best oriental food you can get in town is in Zen, where you can get an extensive spread six different types of cuisines. But due to this pandemic we food lovers are suffering a lot, and all of a sudden I recived a message that a new zensational menu is going on it is a type of digital restaurant experience getting same food and taste on your own plate. so I orderd the sushi and the main course and the food was awesome,and it was packed very well. And the most important part is the boy who came with my food was wearing mask, gloves which gave me a sight of relive from the hygiene corner and he explained the food very well. Good to see that they are well trained and knowledge d.Nothing to say about the service its Park standard top notch. looking forward with new menus.

The stay was very relaxing and the beds are really comfy and services are just on point whether room cleaning or room service. Food is very delicious with a great breakfast, lunch buffet spread. Aqua is very refreshing at this weather with a pool side experience. Housekeeping makes sure the rooms are sanitized well all the time which makes me feel very safe at all times. Has been a memorable stay will comeback again.

The Park Hotel is one of the most expensive hotels I have stayed at in my many years of travel to India. When I booked a room I did not realize the ground floor was a nightclub and my first night I was placed in a room on the second floor. From the moment of check in the experience was irritating with blasting music from the night club and loud guests cutting the check in queue and nobody at the desk managing the chaos. Finally we were given keys to rooms on the second floor.
My room reeked of cigarette smoke, had no working charger outlets, toilet didn’t flush properly, and the music was so loud from the nightclub the floor was shaking. The staff told us they would move our rooms immediately but kept delaying the move until finally after being given the run around all day by some rude desk staff we finally were moved later in the day. We had to sit and refuse to leave the manager desk to make this happen. Even on the fourth floor you can still hear the music. That room had working outlets at least and didn’t smell as bad. The decor was also more contemporary and nicer, if somewhat bizarre.
The house keeping staff did do a nice job keeping the room cleaned in a timely manner and I appreciated their efforts. Also a special mention to Kaushik at the front desk for his professionalism in trying to help handle our issues.
The location is good for food and shopping but over all I would not stay here again for the price unless I wanted to party.

During covid times getting a good and proper sanitized room is everyones priority and The Park Kolkata fulfills it at a very reasonable price. Staff is very courteous and helping. I am staying here for the first time. room were comfortable staff here r nice and very cooperative. Yesterday we went to Roxy and I was actually overwhelmed with the nice ambience.
