We were in Kolkata for a day and booked a King Room with Balcony in Hotel Palm Aryan. The hotel is a 17/18 room hotel situated in a peaceful location in Salt Lake area, away from hustle and bustle but everything of need available nearby. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, clean washrooms, the balcony being an added attraction. Staff is very polite and helpful. Breakfast was complementary in the package we booked, room service is available , food served is very tasty! Overall, we found it to be a wonderful place to stay in Salt Lake area at competitive rates! PRooms are exactly like the pctures on the hotel website

Located in a quiet neighborhood of Salt lake aka bidhan nagar with a lovely park right opp it, this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and comfortable; the staff was courteous and the breakfast buffet was simple and tasty. City Centre mall and the metro station is a km away. Highly recommended

It was a very good hotel located in a residential area thereby giving me a homely surrounding. The hotel employees were very cordial. I met an employee named Mr. Uttam Kumar Mahato, who was a very professional, polite and sincere staff in the hotel. The services were satisfactory overall.

The location has both a positive side and negative side. Located in a completely residential area and calmness all around. But difficult to locate as it is neither on the main roads nor that well known. It is more of Bed & Breakfast kind hotel - a decent spread in breakfast (although omlette etc. are kept cooked) but for lunch & dinner you have to order through room service. Food quality good. All staff members particularly the reception staff were very courteous & cooperative. However, there appears to be shortage of staff for housekeeping - the guard at the entrance often served as the personnel for checking TV, bathroom taps/ knobs etc. Housekeeping was, therefore, not that good as they had to be reminded for replenishment of tea bags, dairy whitners etc. everyday. Rooms are small but hairy with good air conditioner. Bathroom very small with door touching the wash-basin but it had a shower cubicle. The corridors were emitting cigarette smokes from some rooms with less regular cleaning of dishes left outside the rooms. Overall an okay kind of experience for a short stay.
