We visited this property for the second time in Feb 2020. It's a one and half hours drive from Kolkata. The property is beautiful and vibrant from the very entrance itself. Check-in was hassle free, we had booked wintergreen rooms,which is in the new nirvana block, about 2 mins walk from the reception area. The lobby is nicely done, and every part of the resort indeed is photo worthy,and well maintained. Our room was on the 3rd floor,facing the temple. The room was quite spacious, with a separate bed area, sitting area, and another wash area,with the bathroom, a huge mirror, and the tea coffee maker. The balcony is small, but ok. All the amenities were available, including tea coffee maker, washroom toiletry, locker, bathroom slippers. We had lunch in the restaurant, for which we ordered chicken butter masala and butter naan, both of which were perfect. The amount provided is enough for 2 people, and the price was slightly on the expensive side. The play area was nice, facing the pool, and had options of table tennis, carrom, chess, snooker, all of which were free, and we literally played out hearts out. There was a refreshments counter next to the play area. The pool is nice and big, swimsuit is available on rent,as well as you can bring yours however for girls, if you have long you would have to use a shower cap before getting into the pool. There's also some cute and cozy sitting area by the pool side, incase you just want to chill by the poolside, have some cocktails and click some pics. There's also option of basketball and boating if you're into those. We visited the bar in the evening, and ordered pinacolada.the bar has both indoor and outdoor seating options. We preferred the outdoor option as it was nice and airy.the cocktail was good as well. For dinner we ordered chicken momo, veg fried rice, sweet and sour fish, fresh lime soda, and all of them were equally good. Special mention to the staff who were extremely efficient and well mannered. The breakfast spread was extensive, with both indian and continental options For indian options there were dosa, puri bhaji, aloo paratha, poha, idli, vada, with a type of aloo pakoda. For continental there were baked beans, hash brown potatoes, omelette, croissants, brownie, doughnuts, chicken sausage, fresh fruits Bread toast, tea coffee, fresh and canned juice for also available. The check out was simple as well. Overall it was a nice and relaxing weekend and looking forward to visit again.

Ibiza The Fern Resort & Spa is located at Amtala, on Diamond Harbour road. It is in the outskirts of Kolkata or rather you can say extended Kolkata. It was a one/one & a half hour ride from my place which is in North Kolkata. As soon as we entered the property they did thermal scanning, sanitized our bags & hands. Then we were greeted to some freshly made mocktails. After our checking in procedure, we were guided to our rooms. The rooms are spacious and had all the necessary amenities. The bathroom too was spacious and had a bathtub. The beds and pillows were extremely soft & very comfortable which made sure you doze off to sleep and relax. The service too was really great. Soon after that we went to Dolce Vita Restaurant for our lunch. We tried out their buffet. The spread was grand and the quality of each of the items was really great! The pool is huge and the water is cleaned on a regular basis and is very well maintained. Apart from the pool they also have a Spa, Discotheque (which is operational mainly during weekends), outdoor sports facilities (such as badminton, basketball, trampoline), indoor games (like chess, carrom & billiards), a small gaming zone (like the ones at shopping malls), a small outdoor gym (which is in the process, still not accessible), adventure sports (like boating, comando walk,archery, cycling,etc), wildlife (like rabbits, different species of birds, ducks, etc.) & they also have a kids zone which has lots of rides both indoor & outdoor. We also tried the Ala Carte dinner at the Dolce Vita Restaurant and the food did not disappoint at all. The next day we had a lavish breakfast buffet again at the Dolce Vita Restaurant. We also tried out food from the La Deportivo Sports Bar and again the quality & taste of the food was exceptional. To conclude I must say that it is a very well maintained resort, service is really good & is just the perfect spot for a weekend staycation!

Ibiza The Fern Resort is best family resort in Kolkata. We stayed in Nirvana room no #3022. Room is very beautiful. House Keeping given best service every day. Every day cleaned the room and use room freshner also.All Nirvana rooms have village view and village smell which we enjoyed. Manny people may be don't like because of natural beauty and silent of all rooms. In this resort every things are natural. You cant see artificial things in this place. You can stay here peacefully. If will go to room's balcony so you will get village atmosphere. Every natural beauty lover will visit at least one time in this resort. We recommend to everyone. Food is so much tasty. We tried mainly veg food. But we saw non veg food which is very much attractive. All Dolcevita restaurant is very much attractive. All service staffs are so much helpful and Co operative. Staffs are well trained in Dolcevita restaurant. Room service is very fast which we can't see any other resort. Because we visited manny resort in India where room service was very slow. But here food served in room within 20 minutes.
Swimming pool is very much beautiful and clean.
Generally I didn't like writing. But this time we are really impressed. That's reason I am writing this review. We will definitely come next time. Next time we will come with our few Jaipur friend's family and we will stay in only Nirvana.

Very much satisfied with ambience, gives complete royal feeling, greenery all around, relaxing environment, calm - no chaos and noise,
Safe in this covid-19 situation. Neat and clean. Social distancing followed.
Rooms are nice specially, the fern club room in which we stayed.
You will find Tonay at the restorant, and if he serves u, u will love having food there, very generously he serves food and is very polite and humble.
Cons: 1. The rooms Tv operation via remote is not good, must be replaced with new smart TVs
2. Wifi was not properly working in my room.

Ibiza appeared to be best choice considering location, cost and available amenities for the Holi extended weekend. It is approx 1.5 hrs drive from Kolkata central with normal traffic. Swimming pool is extremely beautiful and well maintained. Rooms are small but we were lucky to get cor er room with balcony. Breakfast spread is impressive. Unlike other similar resorts, many options like innovated zipline, boating, archery, basketball, badminton and indoor games are available. Food is expensive but good in taste. Mosquitoes are a challenge that resort tries it's best to cope with. Additional entertainment in form of magic show, movie and baaul songs were organized by resort which my 7 year old enjoyed especially the magic show by magician Raja. Discotheque is there which I did not use as I had kids. Restaurant should increase variety in room service/ restaurant menu, one or two Bengali speciality dishes were only available. Overall, a relaxing weekend !

Resort is nice undoubtedly. However, the winter green rooms in "Nirvana" (that the management try to push in case you are a normal resident guest & not part of a corporate group package) might be "Nirvana" for the management but hellhole for the guests. The resort wants to us to believe that they are providing star category services and charge us accordingly. However, there is no maintenance in the rooms. They are in a sorry state, dirty and half of the appliances do not work. 1) AC doesn't cool and only acts as a fan. Complained multiple times since 8 PM but electrician showed up at 11:30 PM, after we had already gone to sleep. Sent him away as we had a kid with us. 2) Minifridge doesn't work. Complained at reception. They replaced it with another non-functional fridge. 3) Electric Kettle was unclean and had patches. On complaining, it was replaced with a cleaner but non-functional one. 4) The TV had a strange pinkish hue and had discoloration issues. 5) Found strands of hair strewn about the room. 6) Construction work with loud noise starts from 7 in the morning and continues till evening.
Complained multiple times to the reception for these issues. When that didn't work went there personally thrice. But they were totally nonchalant and lacklaisidal and unapologetic about all these and couldn't fix any issue for the length of our stay. Found that the intent was missing on the part of management to correct things. I would recommend that you enjoy the resort as part of day outing and think of staying only if you manage to get a room in the main building. Stay 1000 miles away if the management tries to peddle you a "winter green room" in Nirvana.

Loved it .one must come here with full family.one of the best resort in Kolkata.specially staff's are very very polite and helpful.....loved it . Just awesome hospitality. Must come. I must say its worthy. We took only 7000 for 1 day booking including lunch, dinner and breakfast along with some amenities. You will enjoy for sure. We spent our marriage anniversary here. Got a beautiful cake from hotel authority. Overall we are very satisfied.

I visited this resort recently. It was a girl's group and we were 6 of us. We went there last year too and decided to visit again. Like last time, this time also we had wow experience. We loved the ambience, the food, boating, the nature and we had a great time together. Best part is that we felt safe and they were maintaining good sanitization standards which is very much required at current times.

One standard double bedroom can easily accommodate one adult and two children. You may also take extra bed for additional charges. But I don't think you will need it. Book online (just Google) for availability and best rates.
