A brand new hotel right next to Kolkata airport. The bright and lively interiors is in sync with the spirit of the city and lifts your mood the moment you step in. Extremely courteous and helpful service staff makes you feel at home during your entire stay. The lush green lawns and horticulture around the hotel building gives it more of a resort like ambience. And, the sanitisation standards maintained in the hotel makes you feel safe and secure, even in this pandemic situation. This quality hotel experience at such a price is absolutely unbelievable.

I stayed here for 6 days. It’s a lovely hotel. We had a comfortable stay. Though the area around is busy and close to the airport, the compound is well spaced and quiet.
Nice plants around, simple check-in process and no nonsense rules.
The hotel has absolutely beautiful rooms, very good bed, a nice gym with all essential equipment and even includes free laundry wash so you can wash and fold your clothes.
The restaurant has a perfect buffet breakfast and a good menu for ordering food anytime with reasonable prices.
The best part above all this is their super friendly staff. When I had to extend my stay, requested Ms. Shireen there and she did everything so perfectly that I didn’t have to shop around or login to websites etc.
Their prices are very reasonable.
This is now my bookmarked place when I want to visit Kolkata.

We checked in quite late around 10:30pm. We had a warm welcome . At a time when most hotels looks dull and gloomy due to limited staff and services, this place was lively with some of the warmest staff I have come across. The rooms were clean. All sanitization protocols are bring followed. Food is served in disposable plates with disposable cutlery.. Special thanks to Mr Ashish who personally reached out to me with the IRD menu a day before check-in and took our order and had our dinner ready so that we did not have to wait.. The food was really good... Definitely The best place to stay near the airport and one of the best places to stay in the city..

This place is an ideal location for people travelling for business. It is close to the airport and metro as well. So connectivity is not an issue when you are staying here. When I checked in the staff was very friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean and noise proof The buffet breakfast had some very healthy and tasty options I had a good time.The wifi speed was optimum for and stress free connectivity I especially loved the fragrance The aroma in the hotel was something which gives you a pleasant feeling. A complete home away from home. I felt relaxed and welcomed The smiling faces of the staff always elevated my mood. I spent two days at the premises and every time I felt welcomed and energised. Mousumi and sumana are very customer friendly and go the extra mile for great service quality. Not to forget Vinitha and Shirin.
Ashish an amazing chef is more focused on serving the best in class dishes to the customer. I ate couple of Bengali delicacies he recommended and cooked for me was a different world altogether. Just Call Ashish at the room service and rest he will take care. Special thanks Ashish for being there and making our stay a memorable one.
Sourov at F&B . Very caring. He packed my lunch since he knew the place I go was remote and difficult to get hygienic food. Thanks Saurav for the care. Khoushik again is very customer friendly.

Nice property. Closest to the airport, just about 800 mtrs. Very nice sanitisation meaaures.Cozy room. Has good dinning provisions in the lawn too, although might not be open during this pandemic times. I had ordered for in room dining ,dinner and breakfast. It was nicely served in disposable food grade packaging. Thankful to Chef Ashish ,for the fresh, mouth watering preparations and also for ensuring that the order was sent to my room in time as promised. Overall a very satisfying stay.

I have checked in on 15th and the process of checkin to checkout is quick and hassle free. Front end staff and the other teams be it at dining, housekeeping have been doing their job with so much of attention.
I wouldnt say perfect but as a visitor i am leaving the property with full satisfaction, keeping their guest same in pandemic.
Kudos to the Team Holiday Inn Express. Will definitely visit again. Keep up the good work.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata for four nights (28th to 02nd) as part of my businesstrip and had a wonderful experience. Starting from the hassle free checkin to the friendly staff, I have seen the highest standards of hospitality at display. The staff is ever helpful and makes you feel at ease, whatever the need be. They are also very mindful and gave my friend a hot water bag for his leg without any prompting at all, when they saw he was recovering from an injury. Coming to room service, it is simply outstanding. When it comes to food, there is simply no match. The breakfast spread is very tasty and there is food to cater to every one's choices. I would like to specially appreciate the following staff for their service, without which the stay could not have been this enjoyable.
Mr Manoj Kundu, the Manager, who extended our stay for two days at a very competitive price as soon as he got to know we were planning to stay on for another few days.
Mr Sourav, the Host, who was ever courteous and enquired after our every need.
At the front desk, hosts M/s Debadrati, M/s Sumana who helped a lot with the check-in check-out formalities and who I believe should be the gold standard for hospitality.
At the cafe, M/s Piya, Mr Jay Shankar, Mr Ram, Mr Sudeem, who ensured that the dining experience was truly world class and pampered us with attention and services.
And last but not the least, M/s Bandana, security staff at the entrance, who made sure every guest is properly sanitised and ensured the safety of the guests by scanning each piece of luggage entering the hotel premises.
I would like to commend the staff and management at the Holiday Inn Express for upholding the world class hotel experience that one expects from an establishment that is part of the IHG chain.
The hotel is only about a kilometre away from the airport and an excellent choice for overnight stay/stay between transit flights.
Definitely looking forward to staying here again.
