Breakfast is buffet and average...
Overall it was a good stay..
Being situated in the crowded market, plz don't expect good views from the hotel or a grand reception. Also the lift and corridors are narrow but the best part is room. The rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable so you can expect a good night sleep. The bathrooms are clean with all the basic amenities including good bath fittings and dental kit, shaving kit etc etc. Food is good but breakfast spread is average.
The staff is friendly, the bell boy can arrange a vehicle for your sightseeing or drop to airport or railway station
Overall a good option
The Mark Hotel Kolkata is close to several popular attractions, including the Victoria Memorial, the Indian Museum, and the Maidan. It's also convenient for business travelers, with the Kolkata Convention Centre and the city's major commercial hubs nearby.
Some of the hotel's notable features include:
Overall I felt this is not a family hotel. Many people (mainly males) are staying here for business purpose. It was noisy till mid-night. It was common to see that people do not close their room doors. When you are walking around you will see people lying in the bed, watching TV, without closing their doors!! This should be taken care off and should have focus for family comfort.
Internet is available in the rooms. Lift is very small, only two-three persona can be adjusted at a time with out luggage.

"I guess rooms nearer to elevator or wifi router would be better. there aren't any views around so dont bother with windows and such."Read full review
