(Stayed from 6th to 7th) Cordial staff, overwhelmed by the warmness offered by the whole unit, to name a few - Rubai(chef) in Seasonal Taste, Somnath in Lounge and all the restaurant managers. Room (king guest room) offered was in a high floor as per request. Rooms are spacious, washroom is equipped with a bathtub, view from window is just masmerizing. All types of buffets at Seasonal Taste have a good spread, quality is well maintained. Packages are offered at attractive price, hope they will continue with this USP to attract more crowd.

Stayed at Westin Kolkata for about a week . The stay was very memorable and comfortable . Hotel is approximately 9 Kms from the airport and it takes 15-20 min of driving time at any time of the day . Located very close to the Eco Park . It has lots of open space and greenery around and permits lots of area to walk around . Rooms are spacious and very well done up . House keeping staff is caring and efficient . Mr Pradip made all efforts to keep up the room to the required standards . In addition rooms facing the Eco Park / City provide excellent view especially in the evening hours . Laundry service was prompt and was of high quality . In room dining service was great quality of food was excellent . Disposable crockery and cutlery was used to maintain required hygiene. Team of Siddharth/ Puranjit /Kuntal / Ankit ensured quality service at any given time . Hotel vehicles were used for pick nd drop. The service was punctual and good . Despite CORONA times it was pleasure to see such a positive and motivated set of people working tirelessly to ensure hygienic and comfortable stay. Many thanks Westin team at Rajarhat .

Westin Kolkata offers all the modern amenities ranging from spa, salon, swimming pool, well equipped gym, global cuisines and modern rooms with great views. We have never had a hitch in both our staycations (Oct 2020 and Jan 2021) on any of these aspects. However, given all of these are expected from a world class five star like Westin, I wanted my review to focus on the heroes who elevated our experience to legendary levels.
Our second stay was to celebrate my son's birthday, and the small gestures and surprises throughout the day from entire Westin staff kept him elated and excited making it his best birthday ever (in his own words). Indrani from guest relations team anchored the entire experience throughout the stay ensuring that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had met her during our first stay and our son became so fond of her that he was really excited to meet her again on his birthday. She is a true asset to Westin Kolkata!
Mr. Rahul Prashar and the entire housekeeping team has been doing a commendable job of keeping the rooms and public areas clean and sanitized in the pandemic era. Our room was already decorated, and had cake and cards for my son when we checked in. Later in the day, Mr. Chandan from in-room dining and his team sent some beautifully decorated chocolates, marshmallows and strawberries for him. In the evening, Indrani, Priyanka and Sanjit dropped in with a gift for him and got him hyped for his birthday party at seasonal taste. All our meals in Seasonal Tastes were great thanks to Chef Vicky and Rubai, servers Avhi and Sourav and the entire restaurant team. Before checkout, I took the mixology session at Westin's bar located on floor 31 and 32, where I got to try some delicious drinks and learned good tips from Uday and Subhankar. The view from 31 32 is amazing and it is a must visit for people who like to party.

We checked in in the afternoon, had coffee (only 2 smallest sachets provided) and immediately went out as we had some plans. At night, i called for coffee. Again came only 2 li'l sachets. Given that two people were staying, i felt they were being too miserly. There was no sugar free in the room, had to ask for it twice. Asked the same housekeeping guy for a plate and knife (to cut an apple), he asked to call housekeeping instead. Called, nothing for half an hour. Called again, got plate, but no knife. The hairdryer in the room was oily, sticky and dirty. Even after i showed it to houskeeping, he insisted that it was cleaned and sanitized (photos attached). I came back in the room. Perhaps he did not realize i had kept the door open. He called someone and was saying "guest maan nahi rahe, bol rahe hain clean nahi hai, bada kaam de diya, abhi dusra kaunse room se laau"... Took half an hour to get a fresh hairdryer. I actually woke up with a cold as i had sit with wet hair in the air-conditioned room all that time. Next morning when i gave my feedback, the hotel executive apologized and asked whether we needed a car for the airport. I said yes, if complimentary. (it didn't really matter as an Uber would cost me just 150 bucks.) While checking out, they said they cannot give a complimentary ride but a 10% discount on car booking (so very generous)! Of course, i chose to let their offer go. But really, as a goodwill gesture they could have dropped us to the airport (just 8km away). There was no sanitizer in the room, something that is a basic need these days. The slippers were extremely thin. Driver accomodation not available. Overall the stay was no where near 5* quality.

Loved our stay at the Westin! The overwhelming hospitality at the hotel erased the memories of our harrowing journey! From check in to check out, the front desk staff was amazingly friendly especially Indrayni who was absolutely fabulous!!! The house keeping staff, particularly Rahman and in room dining staff especially Shamsher were extremely accommodating!! The property has a beautiful unobstructed view, and you might just wake up to see the Eiffel Tower in front of you! My wife and I had been separated due to COVID and there couldn’t have picked a better place than Westin Rajarhat to mark the end of a difficult six months. The hotel has taken exemplary precautions due to COVID and everything was regularly sanitized. Loved the hot box they brought the food in, as part of the in-room dining experience. And last but not the least the food was scrumptious and the chef was more than happy to cater to our specific requests. Not staying anywhere else if we ever come to Kolkata!!

The one day stay at Westin was the most outstanding experience in terms of hospitality and warmth. The room was made available well before the scheduled Chk in time on request and the hygiene and sanitization was simply awesome. My kids enjoyed even though due to pandemic the internal play area was closed. The food layout was beyond imagination and the warmth of the restaurant manager and all staff was really great. From the time of Check in at the reception through out the stay, it was a feeling of Home with luxury and comfort.

Westin is surely one of the best 5 star property in Kolkata, everything is just perfect, right from check-in, rooms, comfort, service and hospitality. Location is very good, Eco Park is just the other side of the road. Rooms are very specious, we opted for twin bed and one bed is easily accumulate one adult and a kid. Rooms are very clean and hygienic for sure. Food is also very delicious, we tried few items and found everything was perfect. Prices are also very reasonable compare to other 5 Stars. Buffet breakfast has varieties of options, also couple of Live counters are also there for instant taste of different cuisine. We tried buffet lunch also, they have lots of options to choose for and with a very reasonable price. Hospitality is absolutely next level, each and every staff takes care of guest so nicely and give personal attention. We must recommend about Chef RUPAI, she was very kind and giving so much attention to us whenever we visited the Restaurant & also provide us with different kinds of dishes during breakfast. The Pub 31 is also nice. Overall, a very good and delight experienced we shared during our stay. Highly recommended and will surely check for future stay.

Cons- 1. I was part of 2 families and visited the restaurant. Had Nearby coupons with us for a buffet breakfast. We had 2 kids with us. 2. The conditions warranted prior reservation. But although reception transfered the call nobody in the restaurant would pick up the call. Although breakfast starts at 7 we were shamelessly asked to call them at 9 as the staff were "busy ". This happened after the front desk staff learnt we had Nearby coupons
3. The front desk informed us that for those without coupons no reservation was needed but those with coupon it was mandatory
4. When we reached the hotel we were treated like second class citizens and the attitude of the staff was deplorable. Even normal courtesies were not extended.
5. I was appalled as I used to get regular calls from Westin sales team for hosting our conferences there and we did organize a big event. I , however did not choose to reveal my identity and remind them of the number of persuasive sales calls to me so that we would host our corporate events there. BTW I work for one of the largest pvt corporations of India.
6. I never felt so humiliated in a restaurant in my life. Have visited so many countries with my family. Never had this kind of an issue
7. Service extrems slow. Not sure the fact that we had Nearby coupons contributed to that
8. However it was clearly evident that the staff were providing special attention to their resident guests. If the management wants they can verify through video. We were at table 44 today ( 3rd Jan 2021 )

Just visited the 31 32 restaurant of Westin a few minutes back for our anniversary dinner. And the place is beautiful, well decorated, and cozy, perfect for chiling out after hectic weekdays. I like the peppy environment created by the DJ. Besides, the staff members are well behaved, I especially want to thank Tuli for serving us. Food quality is good as well based on the portion and taste. Per I would like if the management pays attention to some additional details like keeping tissue paper holders in every table. As per me, the rating is 7.5/10

Who would come to a hotel during these Covid period - we did cause we wanted to celebrate my sons birthday and had come to Kolkata after 3 years. We were a family with kids and it was my younger son’s Birthday. We had to wait for an hour and a half to get rooms inspite of checking in at 3 PM and were informed “sorry about the delay we had guests who checked out late” ( so is that our problem when we gave clear instructions four day’s in advance. There was no cake , no fruits and no decoration as promised. That was a real bad first impression. No one picks up the calls operators / reception / room service. No fruits were placed when asked they sent without knife and when asked can we get a knife was informed please call house keeping. The food at the coffee shop was well decorated and appealing to the eyes but lacked taste and flavour. When highlighted we were informed that’s how it is supposed to taste - Attitude to the hilt ! The Chef at breakfast was a saving grace at least but still that did not change our overall experience of being provided the most pathetic services on an important occasion of our son’s birthday !
