The room was well-lit and the view from the window was amazing. We requested a room on a higher floor, and we're grateful that it was granted. The AC in the room was working really well, but the mini fridge wasn't working efficiently. The linens were clean but the sink countertop wasn't wiped properly. The set top box was not attached but they resolved the issue immediately when they were informed. The bathroom was not ventilated at all, and it was extremely stuffy. This was the only inconvenience we faced. Attaching an exhaust fan in the loo is recommended. The wardrobe was well-equipped with multiple drawers as well as a safe. We liked the à la carte menu, but we would not recommend the meal combos. They're cheap but they don't taste good at all. Covid protocols were also maintained strictly by the staff. Overall the experience was good.

Whenever I visit kokala, I always prefer to stay in this hotel. This is Stars hotel with most economical . Very convenient for airport and other transportation facility. Near by there are many restaurant,shoping malls.
About room , amenities are really nice . Food is little expensive But quality is very good.
During thjs COVID-19 situataion, I visited Kolkata and as usual stayed in this hotel . Hotel is really following all preventive counter mesaures for covid and every day, they do sanitising.
Note-: Got information that, they don't allow the guest who come for quarrantine at hotel( especiall international traveller.)
At last ,but not the least, staffs are Very supportive and caring. I wishing them all the best.
I must recommend everyone for this hotel.

Being a 4 star Property, Howard Johnson offers Luxurious stay and service. It is just ten minutes away from the airport and has a Restaurant to keep you fed with wholesome Food. Its in an alley behind Chinar Park Spencers.
Its an Eight Storied Property having Deluxe and Premier Room from First floor to Sixth Floor. You can choose smoking or non smoking catergory. Tariff starts at ₹ 2800 onwards. Best Part? If you are staying here , you will be at a stones throw away from City Center 2, Eco Park , Mother wax Museum and many other attractions of Rajarhat Newtown.
On our visit we choose a Smoking Categorised Deluxe Room. It was on 6th Floor. From the Big Glass Window it was really amaze to see sunset and the nightlife of that area. The amenities they Provide like Free Wifi, Big Screen Tv, Laundry Service, Free Breakfast Buffet at their Own restaurant "Nest", daily Housekeeping, a minibar containing Soft drinks, fruit juice, coffee - tea sachets, snacks etc.
On the 7th floor they Have two Banquet Hall ' Dublin' and a Gym.
Its a Great Day we spent together. Coincidently on the next day it was adrita's birthday so we arranged and celebrated her birthday. We had Jaydeep Da in House, Hookah King of Kolkata. He made Perfect Hookah to enjoy moments.
Coming to the dinner Part, There was huge Lavish Buffet at Nest. Starters were served on Table. There were seperate salad Counter. In Main Course there were huge variety of veg and non veg foods like Begun Bhaja, Cauliflower Roast, Veg Hakka Noodles, Chinese Veg Gravy, Posto Bhindi, Pasta, Chicken Biriyani, Mutton Rogan Josh etc. On dessert we had Misti Doi, Gulab Jamun, mousse and cut fruits.
After dinner we had played Uno till 2.30 am of that night. It was so Remeberable night i ever spent till the date.
One Next morning, we Had Disneyland of Food infront or our eyes. A Fabulous spread of Breakfast. north Indian to south Indian, Bengali to Continental all varieties were there. You can set ur own style English Breakfast platter with sausage, bacon, baked beans, toast and different forms of eggs like sunny side up, poach , masala cheese Omlet any thing u want. Those want healthy they had Cornflakes, Chocos. Fruit counter was also their along with Fruit Juice, Smoothie.

The hotel is clean the service very good and above all I got a great service from one Mr Avijit which ranks as the very best till date in any of the hotels worldwide. I had to carry some eatables and hot snacks with me for an onward trip with friends and had to ask him how it could be arranged. And without as much as lifting my fingers did he manage to get all the eatables to my room and also ordered sufficient hot snacks to carry with me for the trip. He personally ensured that I got amazing service and I can’t forget this level of personal involvement into a days work!!
Amazing Howard & Johnson team! You set the bar extremely high for others to emulate - needless to add that I would prefer this hotel if I need to travel to kolkata again . And thanks once again to Mr Avijit for his dedication to his work. If ever Howard and Johnson need to retain one person from their staff they simply should try to retain him.

Hygiene. Check. Hospitality. Check. Food. Check. Even before I mention anything about HoJo, it was Mr Sudhanshu Rathee who arranged everything that we needed for the birthday celebration of a teammate at Doff Estates. We reached late but yet we were served piping hot dinner, since there were staffs being asked to serve us till the last. Thanks to the staffs who continued serving us post their duty hours. This gesture was more than enough for me and my team to be appreciative of the hospitality that we received at that time of the day when you cant expect any other hotels in the area to be opened for food and party. Not just that, post dinner celebration in the suite room is something that I & my team still cherish. We sincerely loved the white & pastel interiors of the suite room, which has every single facility that a guest might require. Washroom & changing area is sizeable enough and deeply cleaned to pamper your OCDs. 😀
All in all, I recommend HoJo for stays, buffets, parties etc. Thanks Rathee ji once again! 😉

So on my birthday this year I decided to let my hair down with a luxurious staycation along with my close friends. Team Howard Johnson Kolkata delighted us with their gracious hospitality and made my day. It was such a fun filled day. Starting from a super delicious buffet to my favourite English breakfast, we were spoiled for choices, literally! Their deluxe rooms are maintained to perfection and caters to all the needs without a doubt. Hygiene and sanitation are of the topmost priorities here and the sparkling clean surroundings speak for themselves. Their amenities include a vast range of services from 24*7 availability of room services & reception desk, airport drop-pick up facilities, launderette as well as a private gymnasium. All of these ensure that the stay is worthwhile. This 4-star property is in close proximity to the airport making it all the more accessible and convenient, whereas it's far from the hustle of the city life making it a perfect choice for an indulgent staycation.

The stay at Howard Johnson,Kolkata from 12th October to 15th October was a nice experience. The front desk persons Mr.Shauvik and Ms.Biswas were very polite and helpful. The housekeeping staff, restaurant staff (especially Mr.Rahul) were very humble and well behaved. The food quality, cleanliness, hygiene, sanitisation were superb. Went to the restaurant (Nest - Howard Johnson) with my would be wife. Had a perfect Sunday lunch. Being part of a US based hotel chain, didn't expect that they can serve quality local cuisine. Well, they have proven me wrong. Was blown away by the hospitality, food quality and taste. The staff are very polite in nature and well groomed. Had a blast after a very long time. Apart from all this, I must say they are doing a great job in terms of maintaining the hygiene of the place, felt really secure to dine in.

The hotel is minutes away from the airport, making it easy to catch flights at all hours. Locater in the New Town/ Rajarhat suburb, this hotel has chic, comfortable rooms. The Sales team informed me that they promise a sound sleep, a hot shower, sumptuous breakfast and clean, hygienic rooms, and they surely lived up to the promise. The hotel was buzzing with activity with some resident airline crew who seems to be enjoying the delicious food at the restaurant. The minimalistic yet functional spaces are refreshing. Ideal for a highly productive visit. The food was consistently good and the staff was attentive and polite at the reception as well as the restaurant.
