Hotel is good. Location is also very nice and just beside EM Bypass. Locality is silent and nice. Now about the hotel its good and bads. BADS: *No Room service was provided. Asked for towel from day 1 did not give a single towel. *Bedsheets were stained, asked them to change, but they never did. *In the name of Complimentary water we were given only 1 bottle of 1lt for 3 night stay. *No body wash or hand wash were refilled. *Room was not cleaned even once in these 3 days though the garbage was collected only once. *They don't have in house restaurant.
Now the GOODS: *Staffs were well behaved. *Our room preference were honoured. *Though the room was a bit small but was well decorated and comfortable. *Hand sanitizer were given in the rooms and staircase. *Must mention the breakfast was good and unlimited and tasted good. *Washroom was clean and hot water was available. *Internet was available and was free and was fast. *Outside food (Swiggy Zomato) can be delivered directly to the room.
Overall a good budget stay which can be reconsidered again.
Thanks to the Hotel for a Good stay experience. Though I would really loved more if the requested services were provided.

Very convenient locality. Nice Lake in-front of the property. There is a nice temple nearby, nice place to visit during evening aarti. Rooms are very small having comfy bed, TV. Nice clean bathroom. Lots of food joints and other stores in the vicinity. Service satisfactory.

Few days earlier, I went to this hotel to book a room for my RSM. He used to stay at Glassotel (Near Panchannagram) normally. But this time we had not make booking for him as the visit was for sudden. Glassotel was sold out for 2 days. So I was finding nearby good hotel through online searching. Then the hotel manager suggested us about Hotel Vedanta. I searched it in online and the reviews are hot and cold. We went to that hotel without an online booking. A lady with glasses was in reception. We asked her about the room categories and prices respectively. They call their rooms Oak & Maple. Oak is a standard room and Maple is a deluxe room (Although there is not so much difference in both the rooms. Deluxe is little bit bigger than the Standard). Oak was 3000 and Maple was 3800 for single occupancy as the lady receptionist told us. We requested her to low the room rent little bit, but she was not ready and her behaviour was peculiar. Just at that moment I saw Treebo board over there and I searched on Treebo where I saw Oak was 2100 and Maple was 2600 for single occupancy. When I showed this to that lady, don't know what happened, her behaviour got changed in a fraction of second. We can't expect this kind of rude behaviour from a hospitality sector worker. She needs to learn how to behave with a customer. Although we did not book that hotel and we booked in NX Hotel which is next to this hotel. But for other person it is my request that please do not go to this hotel without an online reservation. Otherwise you could face this kind of mishaps.

Room is not clean and lot of smoke smell. Bedsheets sheets are very dirty and not clean. Basic facilities like bath room cleaning and soaps are not maintained. Need lot of improvement and Breakfast is maintained with very minimal menu.

Ac was unable to maintain ambient room temperature. Breakfast not provided for early check out. Food could be much better. No wifi was provided. Other things like adequate tissues, towel should be provided.

Very neat and clean property. Superb location. Calm and gentle behaviour of staffs. And prompt service. Although it is a veg property, but you can order non veg from Swiggy Zomato. It was a business tour....but enjoyed the stay here. Definitely would like to visit again. Bye bye Kolkata.....

The staff was very cordial and helpful. We had booked two rooms and were allotted rooms on different floors. The staff helped us out and gave us rooms on the same level the second night. The rooms are comfortable and value for money. Was very happy with the location, very close to the airport and the city center too. It's a quiet residential area, which made our stay noiseless. The cleanliness could have been better. It seemed that the dusting hadn't been done inside cupboards and there was a dust line on hangars and shelves. The bedding also didn't seem fresh. We informed the staff and they changed it the next day. This is a basic hotel with comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms. No lobby area and no restaurant, the breakfast is served in the stilt area.

If you are going to stay at this hotel kindly take care of your belongings. The hotel does not care about your personal things so be careful. Especially when you give your clothes to laundry. There are chances that some of clothes you wont get it back from the laundry and the hotel staff will tell you all the clothes is given back to you. Be aware of such cases. Strongly wont recommend this hotel to anyone again.
