Possibly one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Check in was a breeze. As an Ambassador Diamond Select rewards member, I was welcomed and recognized as a loyal IHG Rewards Member. The front desk staff and bellboys/ doormen were friendly and helpful. The room was amazing with a view of the Arabian sea. We ate breakfast at the Long and Short restaurant daily. The staff were amazing, especially the Hostess/manager Habiba. Habiba made us feel so welcome. The hotel is in a fantastic location right on the Arabian Sea (Queens Necklace). Walking distance to many great restaurants. Be sure to try Mocking Bird Cafe. Great food and ambience. 5 minute walk. Natural Ice Cream is a few steps from the Hotel and a must visit.

We went as a group of five on business. The staff made our lives easy, booking cars, recommending restaurants, alerting us to traffic issues, providing local SIM cards and generally helping us out. Nestor was particularly attentive and helpful. Rooms are spacious - ours had views out over the ocean which made for a lovely sunset each day. The roof deck is great, with wonderful sunset views and lots of action at night. Watch out for the 7th floor rooms, though! You can hear the music... Room service is 24 hours which makes time zone shifting much easier. The only catch is that traffic on Marine Drive can be a bear as you return to the hotel.

Nestled on the edge of the bay, the InterContinental is a great place to stay if you're looking to explore Mumbai.
The service from reception and housekeeping was excellent, though make sure to get down for breakfast early as it can get very busy later in the morning and the service suffers for it.
The quality of breakfast food on offer, both Indian and Western was fantastic, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the gym, whilst small, was cool and adequate.
For lunch and evening dinner/drinks, we'd recommend taking a wander down the road, as the price of food and drinks is considerable, and the rooftop can be quite noisy.

Intercontinental is a fabulous place to visit even in current covid situation . We hosted our family wedding buffet at Intercontinental . The place was well sanitised and all the necessary covid precautionary guidelines were followed by the staff. A big shout out to the entire intercontinental team for a great administration, guest arrangement , mouthwatering buffet making our wedding buffet a memorable event . Visited this iconic Hotel for the Valentines Day and had a pleasant experience. The staff at the Hotel made sure that we had utmost comfort and were available at the beck and call. A big shout out to Smriti, Nestor, Shreejit, Ekta, Rohit, Akanksha and Omkar for the wonderful hospitality offered to us!
As claimed the room size was bigger in comparison to the other hotels at a similar price range. We had opted for the delux room with the bay view and must say that it was surreal and romantic to wake up to a view like that! It was worth every penny spent! The breakfast buffet could have been much better as they really have some fantastic restaurants serving delicious food like the kebab corner, long and short and the iconic Dome! This must be due to the COVID scenario. Every day spent here during our stay was fabulous and loved having the morning breakfast at the Havana Garden with the view of the Marine drive!
Looking forward to visiting again! In love with the Hotel and the view it offers!!

This boutique hotel in an enviable location (the best in Bombay) is in dire need of proper management and well trained staff. It is a perfect example in the hospitality industry that 'location, location, location' is not always enough. I stayed here for a total of 18 nights in Aug / Sept (best time to enjoy the views and the roar of the Arabian Sea outside) and it was soon clear that the Hotel was on auto pilot with no visible management in place. This reflected in the front desk, restaurant and housekeeping staff showing their inexperience in dealing with elite and other regular guests in an upscale property like this. This is a shame because this was the third time I have stayed here (it is nostalgia from the days I lived on the same street and the hotel was Natraj) and the first two times was when the Hotel was under the strong and able leadership of ITC trained Manas Krishnamurthy. This time it appears the Hotel does not even have a GM to steer it. Puneet Goswami (Director of Rooms) is the only identified management team member and he seems to function in multiple capacities. There are two duty managers at the Front Desk and one of them was rude and had an attitude and clearly clueless on how to deal with a Diamond Elite member. Among the Front Desk staff, Dharmesh was the only one who seemed to be well trained. Breakfast was the highlight with all my necessities and favorites. However, once again the staff left much to be desired. The manager (I assume he was one!) just stood like a piece of sculpture in one position without interacting with guests or showing any interest in what was going on in the restaurant.
A guest has the right to expect peace and quiet in a premium property with premium prices as this one, especially after returning from a day of chaos and traffic and noise in Bombay. However, that is not always the case. One evening there was loud music blasting away late into the night from the Dome upstairs making it impossible to rest and sleep. The Hotel gave preference to revenue generation over guest comfort and the staff and management refused to do anything other than offer me another room! Yes, they would rather put the paying guest to inconvenience than be sensitive to making sure this nuisance is stopped right away.
Lastly, I did not receive proper credit for my points and nights as Priority Club member and in spite of writing to one of the duty managers and to Puneet, nothing was done.

I visited Intercontinental Marine Drive with my friend for lunch in Long and Short Bistro, the food was good. Mainly I would appreciate the staff of the hotel who is way more kind and corteous. Jagan who greeted me with Namaste at the main gate, so when I entered the hotel my mask string got broke while putting the hand santizer on my hands, then Omkar the reception guy he also greeted me with Namaste and he handed over the mask to me. Then the assistance started from the lobby where he asked me How may I help you and he informed me about Long and Short Bistro and what level it is. Then the lady staff Marrissa was also helpful in the restaurant. People in this hotel are so helpful that their service starts from the main gate 8itself. This staff of your hotel needs to be appreciated they are the asset to your hotel. Covid protocols are very well followed. Hygeine is on top notch. Will be visiting soon and recommending long and short to my friends and family.

We booked 2 sea facing rooms between me and my elderly parents. The experience was very good.
Pros:
Massive and good quality rooms by Mumbai standards. Smooth check in and check out process. Excellent service at breakfast and over all as well. Excellent location, you get 180 degree of the ocean and through the big windows ypu can watch all the activity happening on marine drive. We ordered Italian food for room service and it was excellent.
Cons:
22k a night is very steep for a city hotel. The building is old and lot of black granite is used which gives it a very dark look. The lobby could have more and better seating options. The tinted films on big glass windows in the room is very old and not clear which affects your view, this is serious because you are paying a bomb for the seaview rooms.
Suggestions:
The buffet spread needs to be better in variety and apperance. The food like poha and cheese did not appear fresh. The buffet spread seems barely adequate and not abundant. However, the live counters saves the day for the guests.
Points worth mentioning:
The hotel was very kind to offer a free upgrade to a suite for my elderly parents.
When requested, the staff was extremely attentive towards my parents needs during buffet breakfast.
They volunteered to make any dishes of our liking for the next day breakfast.
We were very impressed by the service in the restaurant.
I recommend this hotel.

In this Covid times, we were very unsure about hosting an event outside due to safety precautions for my family and our guests, But I wanted to make the event special for my daughter as well so I decided to book a venue at the Intercontinental Marine drive for Meher's Navjote ceremony. As soon as I entered the hotel, I could see the hotel following all safety measures at all relevant places.Jalaj made sure that all my expectations were met and promised, We were offered DOME as the venue for our event, It is undoubtedly one of the the most classy venue with the best view, right from the planning, food tasting and to execution all went super smooth. The food was excellent, The food and beverage staff was very courteous and proactive to all our needs.I would like to mention Abhijeet and Adil from food and beverage for being so considerate and thoughtful.
Overall me and my guests were very happy with the food and experience at Intercontinental Mumbai.
