We have our one night stay at this property situated at 13-16 km from T3 airport delhi you will feel like entering to Mahal we have our 4 rooms booked. Hospitality of hotel staff was at awesome great food and service. only drawback water is not as much hot as we required to hatb other than every thing was fantastic must visit property.they have gym pool garden area also...

We had a great experience here at the hotel, we had 2 rooms booked. Monu and Kanika were phenomenal they ensured that the rooms were throughly cleaned and spotless during our week long stay. All the sheets and towels were changed daily and they were always available to provide a quick service. Definitely coming back here again. Highly recommended.

We hosted my brother's marriage celebrations - engagement and wedding at The Umrao and it was an excellent experience. Food was fresh and good (esp. fresh fruits served during wedding), Decor was classy and premium looking and tastefully done. Mr. Rajneesh (he is the GM ) was very hands on with our both events and took excellent care of food and decor and he was around from afternnon till late in the night keeping a good check on everything. The baraat assembled inside Umrao itself and it was extremely convenient and a pleasure to take the baraat procession inside the resort itself. Umrao also has an in house salon and Ms. Anuradha there is a skilled makeup artist. My experience with the hair stylist was not that positive and they promised to work on the same. Overall, I would rate Umrao highly and would recommend totally to host family celebrations.

My stay in your hotel was below average, the room of your hotel doesn't meet the expectations of a 5 star property, the room is not even properly cleaned , the body lotion of room no 207 in ur hotel is damaged & not even filled ,before the check in. Kindly repair it, the jet of the washroom is too unhygienic to be used. Overall i think you should upgrade your room properly, i have visited many five star properties in delhi , but never experience such room anywhere. And atleast clean your switch boards .only good thing in my experience was the food , it was tasty and nice. Thanks . Shalini khanna.

Stayed here in Jan 2020 during a trip to the Golden Triangle. This is a tired and shabby hotel with staff who predominmitly don't really care about their guests. Works carpets, damaged plaster and room that in the UK would not achieve 2 star status. Public room are good but avoid the evening buffet, where food is left to get cold. During our 21 day stay in India, we ate at some less expensive outlets and had no issues at all, but following a Luke warm chicken and rice buffet, both my wife and I felt quite ill. The management try hard to impress with big smiles, but there is little substance to the establishment. It's also a long way out of the centre of Delhi, so inconvenient if you are spending one or two days seeing the sites.

It was our wrong decision to stay in Umrao. Neither its a 5 star hotel nor any luxurious brand is still overpriced. There was no warm welcome, even during check in we ask them to give us rooms next to each other, they refuse that the hotel is sold out and throw us into two different corners. (I personally checked that the room next to my allotted room was empty till evening.) food in restaurant was okish. To be honest rooms are not that much of good its very simple rooms like a 3 star hotel. Overall not good experience. I would like to mention one name here, Mr. Prahlad FNB Supervisor is the only professional and kind person I met in the hotel. Soft spoken and speaks only when needed, fully appreciates his work and his dignity. I saw him working late till 12:30 and again he was working hard at breakfast around 7. And I would like to say thanks to FNB manager too he was there and taking care of our bad experience. Thanks Prahlad and manager.( don’t know your name )

On our arrival we were asked to pay for a small kid for which we paid 1000 for extra bed but that was not anywhere updated in record when shift changed next manager kept on calling us and investigation the payment mode etc,poor record maintenance and coordination in employees.late service-As we just asked for cutlery in the room which took 1 hour to get to door steps. The worst you can expect is not working air conditioner we called technician 5 times to get ac start working. We were not provided a room with balcony for smoking for which we had to move out of hotel many times. Breakfast is always buffet in hotels but here only fixed menu/dishes were offered to us and manager was so rude in saying that we could order only once not again which we had never seen earlier in any 5 star. The height happened when we were asked to pay for our guests as well at the time of check out when Manager followed us till our car and asked us to pay 2000 which we had to pay In short would never visit again nor recommend it to anybody

The overall experience was really bad not up to the mark. There is no proper service. our room 119 was not sanitized properly. and also we were not happy with the room location we requested for better room option in upper floor but still they have to give us the upper room. giving excuses of sanitization will take time and all crap. Managers working over there are having full attitude. no customer delight. They don't come up with the fully customer satisfaction and solutions. service was totally pathetic. Not happy with the service at all. The team should really work on there hospitality. Specially Managers. Being a manager should find out the solutions with the issues. But they are not ready to help us at all and didn't give us any solutions for the extra charges which they have taken just for a friends visit. The communication is really poor. They don't communicate properly and takes extra charges for one single person just because she is visiting us. she didn't stay even . but still they have charged for that. just for 4 hrs. Really bad service i would say. There can be other solutions as well to satisfy the guest but no they don't even bother.

I will mark 0/5 . The umrao is only named as most hospitable property .. Staff was zero.. they don't know how to talk .. rude behaviour of all staff members from vallet to security lady to bell boy front office staff specialy Ms.Anju .. .. i have to park my own car to the parking that is far 1km approx then come back ..to the lobby they have only 1 bell boy to take your luggage in entire hotel !! Zero hospitality zero management .. the staff members abuse the guests !! Zero in housekeeping ... Take almost 3 hrs to get the toom cleaned from the housekeeping they came so late .. in all zero please don't recommend this to anyone .. my group was in 50 rooms they all got exhausted from the behaviour of this staff

At the outset, I would like to give a disclaimer that it might be an isolated incident. The front desk staff at The Umrao, Gulshan, lacked humility and behaved extremely cockily with me on our first day. This behaviour continued the next day when we had ordered food from a place close by (this hotel is close to Cyber Hub and had many great places to eat). We were offered food discounts and not allowed to order from outside. Later on, after a few arguments, this was sorted. However, I am writing this review because I think that the behaviour on the first day made me look at the whole stay quite differently. The next two days were peaceful and the rest of the staff was quite amicable. I loved the room decor, the space, the grandeur of the property, and the overall cleanliness of the place. Given a choice, I would however not stay here again. There are many great options nearby like Roseate and Radisson who have impeccable service. The Umrao was somewhat a disappointment.

Latent tactics to feed the customers in the name of something or the other and customers are left to fend for themselves while mgr is totally irresponsive/evasive.
