we arrived at the the hotel at 3am and were put in a shocking room - it was our wedding anniversary so this was not good - but they pulled out all the stops and came up with a beautiful room - the hotel is elegant - the restaurants are wonderful - a great start to holiday
This breathtaking property - I would call it the Temple of heritage and history - comes along with a overwhelming portion of style and beauty. To come to Delhi and not stay here is a sacrilege. You will miss a lot! Certainly, the most delightful and impressive hotel in Delhi…
Stayed for 4 nights as part of a north India holiday. Can't fault it. Welcoming with calm, confident service. Spacious rooms with all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Excellent restaurants with special mention for "Spice". Looking forward to returning soon.
I loved this hotel and it is a very special hotel. The room decor is not as modern as I like but they were perfect for the historical character of the hotel and very comfortable. The SPA was the best SPA experience and the hotel's gardens are amazing. I highly recommend this…
This is a very high quality restaurant, but this makes it rather stuffy and pretentious (especially some of the guests). Everything you should expect from a 5 start hotel - great pool, great rooms, enormous breakfast etc.
"Pool views are quiet and get nice light in."
"The higher the better, further away from the sounds of traffic"
"Room 149, where I stayed initially, has a nice view of the pool."
"Try for a suite, as standard historical rooms can be slightly undersized."
"Suggest on rear of property"
