60km from Belgrade,serbian capitol city International Airport-10km from the city of Novi Sad stay somin Lagum a 200 years old familiar house,renewed in 2009 placed in the historic center.3 double rooms-each with a private bath,free parking space,pets friendly,free breakfast for guests. Very clean and cosy.Beautiful garden.In the cellar off lagum is a vintage museum and guests may have a wine tasting for free.

We stayed at Somin Lagum for one night while planning to visit the monasteries in Fruska Gora National Park. The house has been beautifully restored and the room we stayed in was very nice, clean and homely. The Host was incredibely helpful in providing us with information about the region and Sremski Karlovci. The breakfast was delicious with fresh rolls, bread and homemade jam. We even got to take a jar home with us as a present. Definitley recommended to everyone and we hope to return again.

A wonderful place to stay, comfortable and quiet. Splendid host who is extremely accommodating, relating the history of the place and the development of his "lagum". Fascinating to see photographs of the place before it was refurbished. Fantastic old ovens help make the place so welcoming.

We returned to Somin Lagum, where we have stayed before during previous business trips. Our Host is very kind and careing. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The breakfast is great, with lot of homemade jams and juices, nice local cheese and the best bread you can get in Serbia. We hope to return again!

You feel like at home! It's so clean and fresh! The housekeepers are so nice and they know how to take care of you. We've been in Novi Sad for Exit Festival (great) and slept in Karlovci-Somin Lagum. Perfect. We recommend it! We'll be back Soma!!!

Wonderful host does everything to make your stay a memorable one! I can only agree with the previous reviews! It is rare to feel so welcomed and the sense of lived history is exceptional! We spent six wonderful days at Sremski Karlovci, mostly due to our excellent accommodation at Somin Lagum and our kind hosts. The atmosphere at this B&B is very cosy, the rooms are tastefully decorated – new items combined with the old ones. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, especially the great variety of home-made jams prepared with love by the host.
A charming town with a rich tradition, full of flowers even in the greatest heat, is ideally located as a starting point for several walks and trips into an equally culturally and historically rich surrounding area. We came to the conclusion that a small town like Sremski Karlovci with its central location presents an ideal springboard for visits to bigger cities: e.g. Novi Sad, Subotica, Belgrade, and thus offers even better possibilities as far as accommodation is concerned. Of course, the key role is played by the B&B owners, who suggest edifying and fascinating trips and give tips on how to spend your free time in the surrounding area. With their knowledge, they help you plan a reasonable itinerary. Absolutely great!!!

lovely b&b right in the middle of town in a beautiful old house. extremely accommodating host who prepares a lovely breakfast. rooms are clean and quiet, slept like a baby (especially after too much local wine!!)!! couldnt recommend it more!!

I felt like living in a rich family house 100 years ago. Staff was friendly and everyting went just great. The town is also charming but not far away from Novi Sad.

This one was a really good choice for accomodation. Better then we expect. Excelent quality to price ratio! Lot of wine cellars in walk distance as well as good fish restaurant on the shore of Danube river.
