I booked a panorama "bubble" room as a second stop of a tour Petra-Wadi Rum- Aqaba with Mawakeb Travel&Tourism .
I have to recognize that it is the first time ( and I travel a lot) when the reality was better than the advertisement !!!
The camp staff waited for us at the visitors center with a Lexus SUV and drove us at the camp, around 10 minutes drive.
They took us to our room, which was unexpectedly beautiful, with A/C, sparkling bed linen, hand made traditional furniture, exquisite bathroom with toiletries made from the Dead Sea mud.
At 6PM we took the same SUV for a safari tour and watched the sundown in the desert.
The restaurant is a bigger white " bubble," very elegantly decorated and excellent traditional food and sweets, many fruits and fresh and soft drinks.
There is plenty of cold water.
The dinner and breakfast were included in the price of the room.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
There is a coffee shop too, carved in the mountain and also furnished with traditional items.
The view from the room is magnificent, star gazing is amazing.
And the place is so quiet and relaxing; no phones, no WiFi, no TV...
There is a coffee maker in the room and you can enjoy the sunrise having a coffee on the balcony...
A trip not to miss when in Jordan.

My wife and I stayed here during early March of 2020 and it was truly wonderful. The accommodations themselves are superb.

We stayed in one of their "junior" tents and while it looked like there are other more "upscale" options, it was very luxurious and we couldn't have asked for a nicer night.

The restaurant is carved into a huge cliff and is very atmospheric with a huge selection of wonderful food.

A highlight of this camp was that it has no cell reception or internet/WiFi. A welcome "dead zone" that helped us disconnect and tune into the desert, the sky, and the natural beauty all around. We were told that there is cellular service if you walk about a half mile from the camp and some took advantage of this but we were not interested.

A real highlight of our stay was the astronomy walk at night. A young man named Patrick led it and he is extremely knowledgeable about astronomy. He first introduced the small group to the night sky with his telescope (a beautiful Schmidt–Cassegrain scope), showing us the Orion nebulae and several other interesting features. He then took us walking out into the desert by moonlight where he gave us an excellent astronomy and night sky talk. He then took some very creative time-exposure photos of us with the night sky. They turned out beautifully and are wonderful souvenirs of a wonderful stay. Patrick's enthusiasm is infectious and he sis very kind...The next morning he gave the group copies of the photos electronically. We didn't have a compatible phone so he very kindly remembered to WhatsApp the photos to us the next day.

A wonderful place to stay, very highly recommended!

Of all the camps we saw in Wadi Rum this certainly looked the best. We had the standard 'tent' room and it was great. Fabulous over the top decoration and a functioning shower (shame about it not draining). The evening meal was good but the service let it down a little. The standard rooms have gold reflective glass which means during daylight you can lie in bed looking out with no-one looking back in. The amazing looking pods don't have this feature so if you draw back the curtains for the view you are on display in your glass cage! The pods at the edge of the camp are more private - ask for one of them in advance. Personally I wouldn't have designed the place with the staff portacabins at the front of the camp in your view of the desert. But these are really small things - the place is amazing and this was a great way to spend a night in the desert. With many places in Jordan, you just have to accept that service may be a level down from what you might expect in Europe or the US.

Covid safety measures were completely
overlooked as rooms were not disinfected, no disinfection products were provided in the rooms, no one was wearing masks during serving dinner while everyone was in 1 large bubble restaurant, during breakfast again no measures were taken. Covid has changed hospitality operation standards and this is a must.

Although The camp is located in a protected reserve area with a very good view and an excellent location but then what matters is that you arrive safely and you depart safely after you enjoy the beauty of the desert. The staff was very helpful, the dinner had good selection but breakfast had very little to eat and their coffee machine took very long to make one coffee as it needed longer breaks.

Starting with the good point, the panoramic glass room was stunning, immaculatly presented and as the name suggests gives a love view over Wadi Rum and of the night sky.
The camp however calls itself a luxury camp - which the room was amazing the dining area was a bit of a let down. Self service, canned drinks with a straw, not even a glass!
Breakfast was incredibly slow. There was only one chef trying to cook omelettes, so it took ages.
Our stay here was completely compromised. We had paid for the glass domed room. Which while nice was pointless. We arrived just as it got dark at about 7:30 and left at 7. Waste of money for less than 12 hours, this was the fault of ground arrangements and our driver, but but mindful of your timings if your are planning on staying here.
Jeep tour was fun. We did 4 hours in the morning, hence the early start. Again very bad planning by our tour company and driver. We learned afterwards that IF we had got there earlier we could have split the jeep tour and had 2 sunset tour and then 2 hour morning tour.
Sadly this part of our Jordan trip was the biggest disappointment, especially as we had been particularly looking forward to this bit.

As the name says, the experience will be one of the golden memories. The place givers the vibes of staying on Mars. Luxurious panoramic tents with excellent staff make the place different. The hotel has its transport to pick you up and drop you off from the parking area of Wadi Rum village. The rooms are spacious and have all comfort needed for a stay with in-suite bathrooms. The check-in staff is ready to help and provide tours of wadi rum at affordable prices. The dining area is nicely decorated with excellent staff. I have to mention Mr. Riad and Mr. Migo, who took care of all our diets and always smiling and fulfilling our needs. Dont forget to climb the cliffs near to capsules and take some breathtaking images during the evening. The best part is to look at the stars and sleep during the night in your panoramic dome! Amazing!

Amazing place!

Feel like this should be addressed more: YOU DO NOT HAVE NETWORK OR WIFI, the resort is behind a mountain, so do everything you need in advance!!

The camp is an oasis in the desert and in my oppinion an absolute must when in Jordan. At least for one night - just book it.

We had a junior tent and honestly that was a very good decision. It is the cheapest room, but the location of all junior tents are quit and you get a lot of privacy (bigger tents are on the „main path“ to the restaurant and the bubbles you can very much see everything from the outside.). The bed was heaven and the aircon works really well even in the hot hours so we had the mist relaxing time in our tent and also veeeery good sleep. Bath was fine considering you are in the middle of nowhere. There was no fridge in the room, that would have been very nice but again - middle of nowhere. Standard od the room is high.

Breakfast and dinner were very decent at least, there are a lot of choices and we were happy with it. The staff: the most kind and amazing people!!! Especially at the buffet. I am so sad, I didn‘t get their names, please just give them all a bonus, they were the biggest highlight of our stay.

The tours are very touristy, of course. There are no „authentic experiences“, but you get around wadi rum and the nature makes up for it, also the sunsets are worth it. We had Akram as our driver and he did an amazing job in getting us to at least some spots off the beaten path, so we had some spots where we were completely alone inthe quiet desert.

All in all absolutely deserves 5 stars, is a very unique experience and GO!

However: bring snacks! Breakfast ends at 10 and dinner starts at 07:30, that means 9,5 hours without food and the opions in the restaurant were veeeery few and also not very cheap. We brought chips and crackers. Did the job :)

Stayed at Memories for my bday with friends. Opted for the Panoramic Tent Suite which comes with breakfast & dinner (adding lunch is optional). The tent was beautiful & well appointed with a heater directly over the bed & thick camel coats to wear when walking around the property. The way the tent is situated feels very private so I was completely comfortable sleeping with the drapes open.

The buffet style meals are delicious but hands down, the lounge was my favorite hangout spot.

You can schedule jeep tours upon arrival & at anytime (50 JOD). No Wi-Fi or internet connectivity on site.

I’d definitely stay again.

A unique luxury camp in the middle of the desert surrounded by mountains of Rum Valley.
The bubble tent has a panoramic view of the mountains and sky, it is equipped with AC and a private bathroom with a shower.
The buffet dinner and breakfast were good, the food was delicious especially the "Zerb" we had at dinner. Water bottles are available all the time at the restaurant and at the reception area for all visitors for free.
Behind the restaurant, there is a luxurious coffee built inside a natural cave, don't miss that experience.
The owner, Mr. Abd Rahman Nawafleh is very kind and friendly, a great place and great friendly staff he has.
The only thing you should know if you would visit this camp (and I encourage you to do so) is that there are no internet connections, no telecommunication connections, and eventually no WiFi at the camp area.

We just loved our stay here at Memories and our only regret is that we only stayed for one night. It's absolutely fantastic in every way and we would love to return. Organisation was very good. We arrived at the car park as instructed and our driver was there to meet us. We asked for their jeep tour of Wadi Rum and we set off immediately. Had the most amazing 4 hour tour, ending at sunset when the driver made us sage tea over a campfire, alone out on the desert sands. We had booked an exectutive tent for 3 and were just settling in when the manager came and said they wanted to upgrade us to the Panorama Suite (Mars Bubble Room). To be honest, we were more than happy with the tent as it is extremely spacious, but it seemed churlish to refuse, so we moved. The bubble pod was very glamorous too and looked directly out to the cliffs and had a balcony around it. Curtains made it private. Dinner was amazing in the restaurant built into the rocks, like a blingy cave. The bedouin roast lamb dish was outstanding. You can bring your own wine and beer and they open it for you. After dinner we did the star gazing tour with a young man and that was another highlight. I shall never forget sitting atop a sand dune under the moon and stars while he explained everything to us. And then took special photos of us which we were given. It was incredible. Worth every penny. I hope to return some day. I will say that for 3 adults the exec tent was more spacious as it has a king size bed and a double sofa bed in a seperate curtained off area. The pod has a king size bed and then the third person has to sleep on a rather ornate boudoir type settee. All right for a child or a small adult.

Private car is not allowed to past the Village of Wadi Rum. You either visit with a guided tour, if you stay over night, the hotel will send a car to pick you up.
