Chez Eugene is not an hotel. It's much better than a hotel. It is a luxury guest house with spacious, modern and well-designed rooms. (Ask for one with a jacuzzi.) Naomi the manager makes a truly excellent Israeli breakfast and cares personally about her guests. She's also very helpful with excursions, etc. We spent three nights there and highly recommend Chez Eugene!

We chose this hotel because it was available, not knowing much about either this “desert town” or the hotel. We just wanted to see the great cliffs along the Ramon depression and the stars. The hotel room was “just” available. We took the opportunity We were greatly surprised by the experience, especially the staff and the succulent, delicious breakfast. The room was a large, two story, loft-style space; the accommodation is well appointed. From outside it will deceive as the whole installation is in an old warehouse turned hotel. The room had everything one needed. Slept up to 3. Large 3-section bathroom. The landlady/owner was gracious, intelligently showing us the ropes of the place and the town. The breakfast is the winner. Just wonderful. I chose the shakshuka... my gustatory memory is still savoring the moments. In its class (desert-town, off-the-beaten-track, unusual hotel) it gets my 5 stars!

Mitzpe Ramon is a small sleepy town in the south. Very friendly and welcoming, excellent place for sightseeing and desert lovers, but not a vivid town.
Been to quite few hotels in this town as I like to photograph the area. This place is best in terms of value for money.
The rooms are neat, clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. Service goes way and beyond and very personal (The refer to you by first name...). Excellent bed and great location

This intimate, boutique and very cool B&B was a find. Our room was super comfortable with a large bed dressed in lovely linens& facing a designer glass enclosed fireplace. The room decor boasted a funky, refined decor. The closet space was perfect. Thought was given to detail from a music port to a nespresso machine and from an inviting bathtub to fine soaps.
Our vegetarian dinner was a superb surprise and breakfast was excellent with doses of warm hospitality.

We, my wife and myself, stayed 2 nights in this small hotel.
The room we got was clean, big, and well designed. attached to the room there was a backyard with a Jacuzzi, that we used a lot. so insist of getting this kind of room.
We were well served by the owner of the hotel and the breakfast was tasty and fulfill.

But the location in the industrial zone, although this quarter is trying to switch to more touristic area, killed any drop of romance from our vacation. The noises in the morning interfere with our wish to sleep more.
Also, we were the only visitors in the hotel, which allow us to go "wild", but the feeling of emptiness was bigger.
And above all, we did NOT get value for what we paid

a disappointing and expensive option considering this 'hotel' is just a converted warehouse surrounded by other warehouses in an old industrial part of town advertising to be in the real DESERT - this is place is a rip off - the conversion itself is just fake minimalism - the advertised jacuzzi in the concrete backyard was not working - just too hot to sit in - with a disappointing view of the advertised night sky due to all the street lights from the other warehouses!!! the staff are not trained, they are local students with not a clue - our arrival and room was not prepared and the owner was no where to be seen - very annoying considering the cost and standards advertised - we ate in hotel's restaurant and discovered it was also a rip-off with NO professionals present, certainly no actual chef - he left ages ago leaving behind a menu for students to prepare and serve, who were more concerned about stuffing their own faces as they sat at the bar, rather than focus on those eating at the expensive paying tables - i've never seen anything like it - we cancelled our second night and got out as soon as we could.

Dear John, first of all I am dreadfully sorry that you had a bad experience in our hotel. Yes it is in a formal industrial area, as written on the frontpage of our website. Yes those are former hangars that we renewed in a minimalistic but still warm and welcoming style that most of our clients do appreciate very much. I understand that you did not like it and I am sorry about it. The water of the jacuzzi was too hot. The nights are cool in Mitzpe and it's such a pleaure to drink a glass of wine in a hot tube but the desert air is cool. There were lights from the street which disturbed the perfect darkness of the night. That is because even if the desert is at the end of the street, we still are in a street of a little town -4000 citizens- in the middle of the desert. Our hotel is not part of a resort. Maybe you felt lonely. Surely we failed. Your critics about our young waiters are tough but I understand you. We all would like you to come back for a night as our guest. Our beds and matresses are the best possible. Our restaurant serves delicious food. You apparently missed all of this, again sorry and please come back! Thank you.

We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Inn Sense. It's charming! The suites were lovely, spacious and clean. The service, from the booking stage, when Naomi was extremely patient with all my requests and changes, through to the irregular requests we had for breakfast, was faultless. We ate dinner in the Bistro which was super convenient and also tasty.

It was great experience to arrive to the so pleasant place and be welcomed with a smile. The food is delicious prepared by the talented chef Zohar. The suite was spacious, well designed and comfortable. The staff was responsive for all out requests and made sure we enjoy our time. Our special food restrictions were treated with special attention without compromise. We will recommend our friends not just to stop here on their way to Eilat but also to stay and enjoy all what this place has to suggest.

Came by myself to relax. Great location in area with workshops and stores of art and handmade goods.

Lovely simple room with private courtyard to seat and enjoy a good book. Was also very convenient to eat at the place's restaurant.

Restaurant was busy on Friday evening but I could barely hear anything from my room. Make sure and to book a table in advance! Not many other places to eat around on Friday...
