Had booked 2 rooms for 3 adults & 2 children through MMT. The place as per what i thought from the pictures was away from the hustle bustle of the city. But to my surprise it is inside a place where you have constant marriages going on hence the name "Balaji Lawns". It does not have much peace & quite you are looking for, just incase you are looking for it.
The Gokul restaurant in the premises is a good place for vegetarians but no choice for non vegetarians. The complementary breakfast is real good with a choice of 2 dishes from the 5 the hotel has chosen from the menu. The breakfast also happens in Gokul restaurant. The service is real good at Gokul. Its a different management as compared to the hotel.
In the rooms we asked for a hot water kettle which was provided but to our surprise they said its only for hot water and we do not provide Tea and Coffee pouches with it. For the money you are paying Rs 5000 per room for 2, you expect a Tea Or Coffee without delay at your own convienence.
The rooms and the swimming pool is very neat and clean since its a new property on the block. Do not expect much for room service since there is only one mgr & a guy to help him. We had to call for towels and soap which is a must have in the rooms when you book them. Over all was a average experience.

It is located just outside city on Gangapur Rd. Good ambience. Provides good service and food. Nice place.
But remember it is lawns and resort during marriage seasons you face some problems like loud music and heavy crowd. For marriage purpose it is good place with large lawn and parking.

We visited this Resort as part of a team outing, for which we booked 9 out of the available 14 cottages.
Overall we are very pleased with the resort.
The location is perfect - away from the center of Nashik city and close to Sula vines and a host of other religious places like Someshwar temple, Navsya Ganpati temple, Balaji temple and also the Gangapur dam.
The resort itself is very spacious and well maintained. Despite the cottages being completely wooden and this being a monsoon season the cottages were neat. The 14 cottages are located in a square formation with the swimming pool at the center of it, which makes it very convenient. The resort also has a small garden for the kids to play around.
The variety of food and the quality is also very good. Everything that we ordered was delicious. Since we were a large group, the staff arranged all chairs and tables for a dinner besides the swimming pool and served dinner as required.
All our requests were met with without any hassles. Appreciate all the staff for the same.
There is also enough parking area, although this can get very muddy due to the monsoon.
There is also a marriage lawn attached to the resort. We were allowed to use the grounds for a while for the kids to play.
A few minor things that need to be worked on - the reservation process was very tiring and cumbersome. There was no single point of contact for the entire reservation process. The same is not handled by the main reception of the resort, but by the management of the parent company - New Holiday Plaza. This made the whole ordeal very confusing. Email responses were not very prompt and i had to make multiple calls to get confirmation on any booking or payment done. This process needs to be streamlined and preferably handled by the reception of the resort itself.
I would definitely recommend this place for a weekend getaway and the food offered.

Swimming pool was not functional which was not mentioned while booking and when we asked for compensation, the manager asked us to talk to the owner, to which we called the owner, Mr. Anand Aher, we told him about the non functionality of the swimming pool, to which the owner fought with us and talked very rudely and kept the phone saying " I am not going to listen to any of your ' Faltu ' things neither i have time to attend you, you can do what ever you want to". Just because you are owner and you being rich does not mean you should talk rudely. After paying 5000 per night, i did not expect any blunder like this. If you want yourself and your money to be insulted than visit this ' Faltu ' place. I would suggest every one to visit 'Grape County - Nasik' its amazing , value for money and almost same rate.

Rooms were nice & resort was ok. But service was the worst. There were no different towels for rooms & swimming pool. When we asked for extra towels on the second day, they told they cannot give. We were not even given fresh towels on the day we checked-out.
When we sat for breakfast & lunch, they told that they cannot provide extra spoons.
On 2nd night when we went for dinner, there was lot of rush but somehow we found a vacant table (we were with our 4yr old son), a waiter came & made us vacant that table & told us that there is waiting of about 1 hr because of locals who also come there to take dinner. First of all, in any resort, priority is given to those who are staying in that resort & not to locals who come there just for dinner & secondly he made us vacant that table even after we were already seated. We did a complain for the same at reception, they called that waiter, he was rude to receptionist also.
Thirdly, most of the channels were not subscribed on TATA SKY in the room.
Finally, on the check-out, when we reported all this matter to the manager at the reception counter, he was ‘THE BAAP’ of them all.
Manager,s reply to all situations at the time of check-out:
1. For towels : How can we provide different towels for rooms & swimming pool! We don’t do that. How many times we give towels. We customers have to use the same towels that we were given on 2nd day.
2. For Restaurant : Restaurant is not under our authority. We have only given our land to a caterer so we cannot do anything about that.
3. TV channels : We cannot do anything about it. If you want to call the TATA SKY.
4. Finally the worst : YOU ARE DOING THIS BECAUSE YOU DON’T WANT PAY THE BALANCE AMOUNT.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO NOT GO TO THIS RESORT.

Located at a perfect place if you wish to visit various attractions of Nasik like Sula , Someshvar , Gangapur Dam etc.The cottages are clean and swimming pool is of ample size.
But the best thing surely is the food quality and reasonable rates.

We had our morning breakfast there and 2 words to say Simply Awesome. The Chulavarti Misal is something unique & unmissable which people from outside Nashik must have and will love it. So tasty and filling. Their other south indian preparations are the best in the town. Great atmosphere perfect fo the family and most imporatntly the staff and management are extremely polite and great service. Plan to visit again for their lunch and dinner preparations.
