The hotel has a good size. It is not a huge resort that feels crowded all the time but has enough structure to keep you and your family entertained. It has very good swimming pools with warm water that gives you a perfect relaxing feeling. The beach in front of hotel is amazing. There is a huge natural barrier that protects the beach from the waves, gives you a huge natural pool of calm warm waters, filled with all kinds of crabs, mussels and small fishes. It is like swimming in a warm aquarium. Amazing experience!

Samoa Beach Resort is set on the edge of the Muro Alto beach, one of the most beautiful, safest and family friendly beaches on the coast of Brazil. The hotel has a Polynesian motif that is carried throughout the facility. It’s a beautiful place with friendly staff and the best food in the area: the breakfast and dinner buffets are amazing and hard to believe. The rooms are well appointed and spacious with large bathrooms and hotel provided amenities of good quality. This hotel remains a gem hidden from many North American families with reasonable prices, activities for children, the most beautiful pool in the area, and a staff that is eager to serve. It may not remain so for long. Some English is spoken at the front desk and by various staff members, but in many years of traveling, I have found that gesturing and smiling works well. Some people ask if Brazil is safe, and yes Brazil is safe. If you go to the wrong place at the wrong time doing the wrong thing, drunk, you can probably find trouble, but you could find it under those circumstances in Los Angeles, Austin, New York or Des Moines, Iowa. The exchange rate on the Brazilian real is usually quite attractive and makes this an even better bargain. I can only recommend the Samoa Beach resort to all my North American friends who are looking for something beautiful, safe, and reasonably priced.

Beautiful hotel. The location, on the beach, is perfect for safe swimming, in a calm section of the ocean. The hotel’s breakfast is wonderfully presented and very tasty. The hotel has many scheduled activities and provides kayaks and paddle boards for guests. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely stay there more times.

Very welcoming, great experience for the family. The beach in front of the hotel opens onto water so calm it's like a pond, fantastic for kids .. kids in our group being aged 3 years unto 79 years :)
We had a great time, really relaxing, although we had a rental car we didn't leave the resort by car during our stay. Next time we'd probably just get a transfer.
We needed some sunscreen spray, etc, and just ordered from a pharmacy over WhatsApp for delivery to reception.
We hope to be back :)

The infrastructure was very nice, very nice buffet with a lot to choose from. Very relaxing atmosphere with quality live music every night. Swimming pool is very enjoyable and there is a beach with no waves since its protected by a reef. the beach (with beach bar) is rather narrow so it's quite packed. The resort is a bit further away from porto de galhinas and the road leading to it in very bad shape but will be renovated in July/August. Very good hospitality. you get a free shirt upon arrival and welcome drinks and water + snacks when you leave. Expect a lot of families/children.

Nice design, friendly staff and cozy rooms. They have live music Everyday at the pool. The beach is good and with a lot water activities to do. The waiters are very friendly and the prices are razonable. They have a lot of activities for kids. The breakfast and dinner buffet are great. They have a welcome gift for every room and a souvenir for everyone at the checkout. They need to put more attention for clean the bathroom the humidity is terrible.

Samoa Beach Resort was more than we dreamed. I came here with my daughter after a family loss. We were just expecting a really nice resort but we ended up having the best experience ever. We just felt the heart of Brazil is here. The rooms are new and very clean. The food was gorgeously made. All with Nordeste Brazil Taste. Swimming pool cristal clear just feet away from one of the most beautiful beaches I ever seen. But what really made this one of my best travels ever was the staff. Caring, smiling, courteous and with open heart they want to make your day very special. Tio Igor (uncle Igor) from activities was the best. From water fitness to dancing at the sunset he could make everyone fell included and happy. With a special touch you didn’t even need to know even the basics to really feel the good energy of being active in this paradise. Cleyton, Bianca and all front desk people were so lovely from the beginning to the end. If you need something or nothing at all, like just being quiet in your moment they will do all things possible so you feel at home and at the same time I’m at this spectacular and beautiful place. We will keep these memories forever in our hearts. Definitely recommend Samoa Beach Resort 100%

It’s was a paradise from the beginning. Courteous staff, they are always there to attend you. Spacious new room, we got a suite on the first floor looking to the swimming pool and it wasn’t noisy at all. Very good to go come with whole family as they have activities for everyone. We got a plan with breakfast and dinner. It was perfect so you go to the beaches during the day and come back to a buffet dinner waiting for you. Very good food all the way. Drinks are not included on the plan. We definitely recommend this hotel for couples or families.

The food is really good and all staff are very kind and helpful. Especially i met customer support lady who's name is jackline and she was really helpful. We didn't speak portuguese so we had a difficult time at first. She speaks really great English so she helped me to arrange tours and let me know how to enjoy my trip there. I do appreciate to her help. I strongly recommend this hotel to any familys who have young kids

Staff very friendly and helpfull. Room 033, very clean and confortable, TV on both rooms and living room. Kitchen has no microwave oven, just regular oven, cooktop and refrigerator. Powerful air conditioner. Beautiful view of the beach. Silent hall, no noise from other rooms. Very good shower with plenty hot water. Breakfast with all sort of breads, hot dishes and fruits, and great tapioca right made. A good thing: breads and cookies shaped in small sizes wich is great for kids. Food from the restaurant is very good too, they serve dinner and lunch. The swimming pool is very shallow, safe for kids. The deep part is separate with a floater. Our daughter loved the slide from the pool and had a great time there. Good thing: you can borrow towels from the reception to use at the swimming pool and beach without having to use yours from the room. There is a bar at the swimming pool that serves drinks and snacks. Its very close to the beach and the staff serve drinks and food there too. The guests can use the chairs and umbrellas from the hotel free. There is also a gym and kids room with many toys and a slide. I loved it and would certainly stay there again. If you can choose go on weekdays, its less crowded.
