Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went to our smell of smoke overpowered us. Tried to call the front desk phone did not work pulled the end table away from the wall to find what looked like vomit. One of the walls looked like someone had urinated on the wall. The bed's pillows were old, the sheets were dirty on top.
Went to the office to tell them, the attendant was quick to refund our money housekeeping was in the office they came to the room and cleaned the areas of concern appreciated their efforts.
I don't think we will stay here again the stairs had trash bags piled high the walkways were dirty parking lot had large rocks nails cans glass. The remains of projects not completed we're left in the middle of walk ways very dangerous.
Sure hope these complaints are taken seriously.

For almost $100 for one night I would expect the wifi to be working consistently and for the smoke detector to be intact. Overall the stay wasn’t terrible but I didn’t really feel like it was the best either. It was definitely not worth the money though

Convenient location & service at check-in & check-out, room could be cleaner & smell better. Good value for price, though, so I would probably stay here again. Hopefully the cleanliness was a one time oversight. Smooth billing with no “incidentals hold” on credit card.

I booked a room through snaptravels and I reached there. Initially I didn't like the location and wanted to leave immediately but eventually decided to check-in. The room was filthy, with blood marks on sheets, walls, carpet looked like it wasn't changed for ages. Room was smelling like anything and I couldn't stay longer than 2mins over there. I decided to checkout and I asked for refund. They said Snaptravels will have to do it. When I contacted snaptravels, they said the hotel has refused to refund. When I called back the next day, the lady at the front desk gave me a cancellation no. and she said I should be fine. But snaptravels called me back that the cancellation / refund was not approved by the hotel. They are trying to sell filthy smelling rooms. And just because it was booked through snaptravels and it was a nonrefundable deal, the hotel refused to refund the money. They rip me off 110$. The excuse they give is that I didn't ask to check another room. Once you have seen the low quality / maintenance of their rooms, anyone in their sane state of mind would not check another room in there. I stayed in Holiday Inn closeby which I got for the same price and it was 1000 times better than this low quality, unprofessional hotel. For them it's all about money, not about customer's service/satisfaction and maintenance of their so-called hotel rooms. My apartment building's trash room smells lesser than their hotel room. I have stayed in La Quinta hotels / motels before but this was by far the worst experience. Check out the pictures and you will know what I am saying. I had to give 1 star because zero isn't an option.

So 5 days before my trip I had requested to change dates due to weather and I got no response from hotel. When I arrived I asked for a non smoking room and our room reeked of cigarettes bad and the door has ash on it. I went to ask for a new room they made me wait 30 min while they went to check the room while people were walking in with no reservation and still getting rooms. When we got the 2nd room they gave us twin beds instead of kings the night stand was torn out the wall and the lock was broken off. Finally I requested my money bad and the receptionist was being completely rude to us and accused us of smoking in the room and breaking stuff off. She made me really upset and I had to get the owner down because she kept yelling at us and wouldn’t help us out. She needs to be re trained or fired

1.The room was $57.00 more than the original quote.
2. Dingy, dirty looking towels
3. During my 5 day stay I got one set of fresh towels and it was on day 4 after demanding that they do so.
4. The air conditioner was in poor condition and didn't work properly and was badly leaking outside the front entryway.
5. The property was filthy and there was crack baggies in the parking lot
6. The swimming pool water was green, dirty and murky.
I came from Dallas to do a job and was expecting a clean, comfortable and safe place to stay and did not receive what I paid for. I was very disappointed. Due to my work load and the time frame we had to finish I didn't have the time to find another place to stay, if I had the time I would have found another hotel. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!

Your experience begins with talking to the horrible woman who works at the front desk, or actually sits in the little back office hiding from angry customers. Customers, not guests. I waited in the lobby for a couple of hours and watched her tell different lies to just about everyone who entered the building.
Amazingly, even though I had watched the rooms being cleaned two hours earlier, a room became available for me earlier than she expected. In reality, she wanted to get rid of me. Unfortunately she sent me to what is hopefully the worst room at the property. Room 120 is horrible. Do not accept it. It is right next to the parking lot, the stairwell, and the housekeeping "office". Sorry I don't know a better term to use, but my point is that it is always loud.
If you do find yourself yourself in that room, you will be greeted by slightly wet carpet, plenty of bugs, and a shower that doesn't work. The internet works well. Oh, that reminds me that flipping through channels I happened upon an adult movie that was completely uncensored which might deter families from staying.
I could go on for hours about how horrible this place is. Just dont go.
The Mexican restaurant next door is good.

It’s a crack hotel, room was filthy. Our non-smoking room smelled like a VFW, the cigarette smell was overwhelming. Stayed during the recent ice storm in Texas when we lost power, heat and water at our home. The heater worked and it had power but no water so it was a good enough place to stay while we waited for the ice to melt. Would never stay there if I had another choice though

The location is noisy and we stayed in a room with a door that goes out to the street. There were always people roaming in the area out on the street who were not guests. A man started yelling and harassing us after we tried entering into our room. My friend and I felt very unsafe, we left the same day as we checked in. The staff was great, but the hotel needs better maintenance and security.
