The Archer Hotel Austin receives high marks for its stylish comfort and cleanliness, with guests often noting the well-appointed rooms and thorough housekeeping. The service stands out for its professionalism and personal touch, although the value for money receives mixed reviews. While praised for its prime location amidst The Domain's attractions, some guests caution that it may lead to noise. Amenities, especially the hotel's convenience to shopping and dining, are a highlight, but there are occasional mentions of room feature malfunctions and service delays.

We just returned from a part family vacation part business trip. Upon arrival, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond in getting to know us and offering suggestions on areas to check out (it was our first visit to Austin). The room was very clean and utilized some amazing storage such as benches at the end of the bed and cubbies under the beds (double king room). We requested a crib for our 18 month old and a pack n' play was delivered shortly after including a baby set with wipes, diaper cream, and lotion. We stayed for a total of 7 nights and were surprised each evening with a new turndown treat. My 8 year old son also loved how we returned each evening with their stuffed animals arranged on the beds. Each day when we left the staff remembered us and were sure to greet us with a smile and friendly conversation.

No matter if you are traveling for work or leisure, you will not regret your stay here. Don't hesitate, just book.

Wow, just WOW! What a beautiful hotel. The food from 2nd Bar and Kitchen is already renowned throughout Austin, and remains the same quality of both deliciousness and service whether ordering from the pool or the comfort of your room. I've never felt more special! Everything I needed; from fresh linens to a fan for white noise, the attendants were so fast and polite to knock on my door, I felt like royalty. Oh, and the pool! The pool is gorgeous! Carlos the bartender makes the most delightful jalapeño margaritas! I'm staying here every chance I get! I only wish that I would have taken more photos!

And btw, DON'T try to go downtown! It's not the same anymore. The Domain is 100 times safer and more unique.

The Archer Hotel was simply marvelous from check in to check out. Our valet Devin was informative, accommodating, professional, friendly and it was so refreshing as it appears he seems passionate about his duties. The entrance to the desk is very elegant, clean, warm and welcoming, as the Cinderella staircase, double sided to the ceiling fireplace, cozy or friendly seating is so charming. Did I mention the restaurant with nice seating inside and out is less than 50 feet away to order in person or order from the room. Check in at the desk was so fast I barely said my name and we were off to our room. The rooms are a delight, with everythingyou need. The bed well let's just say Angel Soft and Charmin with Down stuffing is what comes to mind. The pool was fantastic as was the TV. Archer is in a great shopping location of over 100 stores, so check in, stay awhile because the Archer will not disappoint you or your family. We loved it! See ya again, soon!

We took our two children for a long weekend and checked in to the largest room we could get at $800 per night -- a suite with a wrap around balcony and a fire pit. Great, right? Mini kitchen, beautiful bathroom. When I called the front desk, they informed me that our leather couch did not pull out to accommodate the children and they didn't have a cot. We figured it out and the housekeeping staff was incredibly kind and understanding and gave us lots of bedding to put them on the couch so Thursday was great. The location is great if you are in to shopping and eating but there is nowhere to go running or work out and the hotel gym has treadmills that don't work. Then, Friday rolled around...the music from the club a block away was so loud until 2:00 am that none of us could sleep. And when the bar closed, the people were outside screaming and revving their engines. It was absolutely awful. We decided to move to the JW Marriott downtown for Saturday night. So if you like to stay out all night or fall asleep to club music, this is the place for you.

The Archer truly stands up to its high rating on here! First off, the customer service was outstanding. Every single person behind the counter was very helpful, friendly and made our stay perfect. This was our first time in Austin so we had lots of questions and they very patiently answered each and every one.
The lobby was beautifully decorated and I would walk down in the mornings for a cup of complimentary coffee at the coffee bar.
The room was clean and comfortable with everything you need. They even put books in your room that you can purchase.
Its in the Domain where there are TONS of options for dining and shopping.
We would definitely stay here again!

Our experience started off pleasant when I contacted the Archer and they offered me a discount. I then made my reservation online and noted that we were staying for our 14th wedding anniversary. When we arrived the valet was polite and courteous. We went to the front counter to check in gave them my name and had the standard checkin. No mention of our anniversary whatsoever, but was surprised at an extra $100 charge for “incidentals” which was never stated on their site. We get our keys and go up to our room. Upon entering the room was clean and everything was in working order but again nothing showing that they read the message that it was our anniversary. I understand they are not required to say or do anything, but everywhere I have every stayed or ate at always did something special. I had a higher expectation of the Archer based on so many amazing reviews. Unfortunately for me and my wife we found the beds and pillows to be very uncomfortable and did not sleep very well and woke up in a lot of pain. The balcony view was not impressive as your view is mostly roof tops and air conditioning units. I will say that the bath tub is amazing. We ordered breakfast the next morning which I found to be overpriced for the lack of food provided as well as being charged a delivery fee and a added 22% service fee. The food was adequate. We go to check out, and it was the standard checkout and pleasantries, but come to find out I was charged an extra $29 for using the valet at the Archer where I was staying. Honestly, if you are staying there you should not be charged for using the valet. We left the hotel feeling disappointed and unsatisfied with the service and amenities offered.

I recently celebrated my 1-year wedding anniversary at Archer Austin. My wife and I had a wonderful stay. We reserved the Archer Den with Balcony; the room is magnificent including a soaking tub for 2. We both enjoyed the view from the balcony and the fireplace was a wonderful delight. The Front Desk team did an excellent job presetting my room as I had requested flowers and a Crosley record player to be pre-placed prior to my wife and I’s arrival. It was super easy and pleasant to collaborate with the team to arrange a bottle of bubbles to pre-placed as well. Archer Austin is in Domain Northside which has all the restaurants and shops you could ask for. My wife and I will certainly be back!

Pros:
1. front desk staff! Incredibly accommodating, friendly and professional. Loved it!
2. Room. We stayed in the one bedroom with balcony and fireplace! Loved it! Clean, quiet, great views, comfy bed, mini bar, nespresso, sink and tons of room to move around.
3. Location! Restaurants. Doc B’s.- amazing, as well as many many more to chose from. Close to DT and hiking and steps from shopping.
4. Shopping! It’s just too easy. Right out the door of the hotel and you’ve got just about everything you want.

Cons. Next time we will ask for a room not level with the Nordstrom rooftop where we could here the roar of their large HVAC system when sitting on the balcony. It was only noticeable outside but not when we were sleeping.

Had an amazing, unforgettable stay and definitely will be back!

We just stayed at The Archer for a quick girl's getaway weekend in Austin and everything about the hotel was top-notch. One of the reasons we booked The Archer was because they offered rooms with two king-sized beds which is perfect for a group of friends traveling together. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Julian at the front desk who was professional and very attentive to our stay. After getting settled in our room, a bottle of champagne was delivered (I think we selected the Girls Getaway package when we booked) which was a fun start to the day. The room itself was clean, beds and linens were comfortable, and bathroom accommodations were great. The Second Bar + Kitchen restaurant and bar in the lobby also had great service and the food was delicious. Location of the hotel is perfect for walking in the Domain area. There are so many shops and bars/restaurants nearby so we never used a car except to/from the airport. Such a great place to stay - you won't regret it!

The Archer hotel in Austin, Texas, is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. This was our second lengthy visit to see our children who live in Austin.

From the time of check-in, the entire staff and management team makes you feel like it’s your home away from home. Always smiling and interacting with the hotel guests.

The rooms are extremely comfortable, valet is very efficient, and will even charge your EV car at night if you request it. They always had the car ready within five minutes of texting to notify them. They will also offer complimentary rides within a few mile radius of the hotel.

Any issues are addressed immediately, no matter what time of day. Engineering came to our room at 11 pm to fix a minor issue.

Location of the Archer is excellent at the Domaine, as there are many restaurants and shops to keep you busy during the day into the late hours.

Beds are extremely comfortable, offering hypoallergenic pillows, and housekeeping will not only make up your room daily, but also provide turn down service leaving a snack and water bottles complimentary. Rooms are always spotless!

Fresh complimentary coffee and newspapers are waiting for you in the lobby to start your busy day.

We will only stay at the Archer hotel when we return to Austin! Anja, thanks again for a wonderful stay.

The mini fridge is stocked with various beverages but we could certainly remove those items if you are interested in having more space. We could also place another fridge in the room for even more space for your own items. Please let us know when you are planning to travel and we would be happy to accommodate.
